4 An unhappy reunion

"Wow, is this how dangerous the journey to Queen Myer's Castle is?" asked Josephine.

Rosemary responded by saying, "Did you call what just happened dangerous, watch what will happen from here onwards, and what is yet to happen on our return' you will know the meaning of danger."

In shock, Josephine asks, "What! Are you saying, there are more killers and dangerous men waiting for us to walk right into their traps?"

Rosemary gave her a shocking answer while looking at her eyeball to eyeballs saying, "Yes."

The answer she received made her scared and it also forces her to move towards the middle among the people, so that if they were being attacked she will know no harm immediately.

Thus, while she was in the middle of the group she accidentally stepped on the foot of a young boy a little bit older than her. And his name was Noah.

Consequently, just been stepped on Noah was angry and he pushed Josephine to fall face down on the ground which led to an injury on her forehead. After which he began to feel sorry for her when he saw blood pouring out of her injuries and the looks he was given by the people around.

Immediately, the news gets to Rosemary for a Lady who lives close to their house back home, said,

"You sisters, as being injured by a young boy and she is bleeding badly on her head, you must go to her and take good care of her." "Don't worry about our defense, I will stay in your position and keep guard against any invaders."

At once, Rosemary left her position to attend to her little sister Josephine. When she got to where she was, she found her laying on the floor bleeding terribly from her forehead. Quickly she held her upward and started tending to her wounds.

This causes the stop of the entire population since Rosemary and her friends are responsible for the defense of everyone.

After a while, they were done treating the wounds on her head and a single was given to those at the front to carry on with the journey. But, first, she requested to see the boy guilty of inflicting such an injury on her sister's head.

Due to how brutal she could be whenever she is angry, Everyone pointed in the direction in which the boy was and he was being fished out.

Subsequently, when Rosemary caught sites of the boy, she found out he was a bit older than her sister, and without any further due, she started beating him up. And when he tries to defend himself by fighting back, it resulted in more beating.

Everyone around tries to stop her from beating the young boy up, but they were unable to keep her in check. She kept inflicting pains and injuries all over his body, either by kicking, booting, or blowing.

"She was kin on beating the young boy to her satisfaction not until Josephine left her place of rest to hold her sister back in defense of the young boy."

"Josephine said to Rosemary, Stop beating him, he pushed only because he was in a lot of pain when I stepped on his foot with my sharp boots." "You of all people should know the amount of pain he must have felt since it is being used in hiking."

She continued by saying, "By the way, look at his feet can't you see they are bleeding, It is because of the boots you gave to me."

Therefore, At this point, there was nothing Rosemary could do about it since it is her sister who she is fighting for, who is the one stopping her from beating the young boy up. So, she decided to walk away from the sense, not minding what people are saying about her.

Quickly, Josephine try to comfort the young boy and began calling out for medical help so his wounds will get treated.

At once, those with little health knowledge grabbed hold of him and Josephine, and the both of them were being examined before preparation for treatment. After they gave the both of them some medical plants leaves, which puts the both of them asleep and their body were properly cleaned up, and their injuries were cared for.

Hours later, the boy woke up and to his surprise, Josephine was sitting close to him in the carriage that was moving in the midst of the crowd. While in a choke, he was unable to speak, all he kept doing was guessing at Josephine and keep wondering if she will hit him like her sister Rosemary did. But, to his surprise, she was looking at him with a smiling look on her face.

Before he could say a word Josephine was quick to go first.

"Saying, Am Josephine by name, what is your name?"

" In response the young boy said, Everyone here in this journey knows who you are. By the way, my name is Noah." ( while he was talking, he was in sieve pain because his jars were broken)

"in reply Josephine said, We'll then Noah I must say you should rest so your injuries will heal from within."

After which, she smiled and placed her right hand on his chest forcing him to lay down and take his nap.

Furthermore, while he was asleep Josephine tries to reach out to her sister by asking those around her if anyone knows the direction in which her sister was. But, the answer she received was shocking to her, she was told that her sister Rosemary and her friends went ahead of the group to Scout the road ahead' from a mountain top to get a proper view of what lays ahead.

Thus, after hearing her sister wasn't close by, she silently withdraw her head from the window of the carriage and lay down on the bed made for her.

Meanwhile, those that were sent to scout out the road to see if it is safe saw something that may be capable of changing the course of everything. Rosemary and her friends saw the man and his crew members which caused great damage to their families.

Rosemary saw the man who crippled his mother.
