21 CHAPTER 21: Leveling up

I walked towards the pool.

The cave showed that an intense battle took place.

Rocks and ice blocks where scattered everywhere, the floor and walls had huge cracks along with holes caused by ice spikes.

I gave a smirk to the draugr. It's bones where crashed into little fragments, the only thing that remained was it's head, don't get me wrong if this where a normal human being or an undead this scene would be disgusting, but draugr look like mummified creatures wearing armor.

So it's not really that horrific.

I picked the rotten skull and crushed it with my hand, leaving only fragments of it's head.

'That felt great, this fucker gave me a hell of a day.

Something glittering captured my attention, I picked the golden necklace and observed. It was some kind of key.

I wonder where it fits.

Wait a sec, am I forgetting something here?

'Hey system, you have been awfully quiet, shouldn't you flash some notifications.'

"I didn't want to disturb you like before."

"Ohh that, you didn't disturb me, i was just frustrated"

'Yes you cannot perform them until you fully awaken and they are other skills that requires the Dragon blade in order to be performed.'

'That means I will be relaying on Magic for now.'

'There is a credit bar, where is the shop?'

"Sorry about that the shop function is still undergoing development, I will update you when everything is done."

'Okay then.'

I assigned 10 stats to agility, 20 to constitution which is health, and 20 stats to intelligence, which increases mana.

My stats now looked like this.

This time I mostly focused my stats on intelligence growth so that I don't run out of mana easily, it was hard to fight last time, I had to restrict myself from using magic so my mana could regenerate.

I ambled aimlessly inside the cave until my eyes landed on a wooden chest next to the throne.

I twisted the key inside a rusty looking padlock.

"This is freaking cool."

I muttered as I pulled out the thick, seemingly impenetrable, black leathered armour with black scales that glitterd under the white crystal.

Analyse

"This is scale mail armor, it's made of young black dragon scales, it's a rare meterial, it increases your defence stats +28 and provides 25% fire resistance."

'Okay that's good.' Analyse everything here for me.'

"Okay, The bracers of quickness give 15% dexterity. Invincibility cloak, when you speak command word the cloak turns invisible, speak command word again to reverse the effect, also when the clock is damaged it turns visible. Protection amulet, when wearing this amulet you can call upon it's protection once a day, it forms a shield around you that deflect all attacks. Magic Regeneration Ring, when wearing this ring magic regenerate 35úster.

I imagined everything in the chest being stored in the system inventory and it all vanished, I concentrated on taking the armor out of the inventory, it appeard in my hands.

'The inventory works perfectly.'

I wore the scale mail armor, bracers and the cloak. It wasn't heavy as I expected, light armor was my favourite even in video games.

I sat in the throne and stared aimlessly at the cave.

"Hey system can you analyse the exit of this cave I want to see how the other world look like."

"We are still on earth, it appears this dimension is not in another world, it is a space created within earth and only this cave exists in this space.

"Wow, that will take a lot of magic to create something like this."

"The crystal up there is actually a Magic stone that emit mana, if it is destroyed or removed this space created will dissappear from existence along with the cave."

'I'm so tired i may actually doze off.'

I rested my had back and closed my eyes.
