20 CHAPTER 20: Epic battle>Draugr Lord VS Kean
I stepped out of the passage and stared at the ancient place in fascination, a huge white crystal in the celling lit up the intire area. The place was illuminated with this strong white-ish saturation that made everything clear as the day.
ground level mist lingered everywhere, I couldn't even see my own feet, this place had an odd cold feeling.
'System show Health and mana only.'
HP: 13/14
Mana : 12/ 20
Sigh. 'Atleast I didn't exhaust all my magic on that dimensional pillar.
I reached out to my shoulder and checked the wound, although I felt a little pain the bleeding seemed to have stopped.
"Can I level up before fighting."
"NO! It's either you abandon the last additional quest to earn your reward, or you finish it."
"Seriously! why do I feel like you are doing this on purpose."
"I cannot make this easy for you, it's already a cheat that you got me as your system, I will make sure to make you omnipotent through hard work. I did warn you, that it won't be easy right?"
"Aghh! Whatever! But I guess it will be boring if it's easy. I accept your challenge."
This cave had a big pool of water in the middle.
I stood on the other side of the pool puzzled by the construction of a stone made table with benches on each sides, and an empty throne that seemed majestical, next to the throne was an ancient coffin, the rest of the place was covered with vegetation.
A muffled growl came from the other side of the pool, gulping in fear I lifted the shield and sword ready for whatever is about to come.
The coffin door busted open.

Level 5! and an Ice Mage! This is going to be an insane battle.
'Why is the defense so low.'
"The robe the draugr is wearing has weak defence to physical attacks but it's magic resistance is high."
'An enchanted robe!"
The draugr lord lurched inside the shallow water.
My body was now covered in flames as I summoned dragon wrath, all stats where now increased by 5.
A huge ice spike came flying towards me, I blocked with the shield. Before I could walk further a huge whirlwind shooting ice spikes rose from the ground.
Getting near the draugr was impossible, it will destroy me before I even strike it.
'Fuck! I can't use physical attacks at the moment.'
I threw the sword away, it was now a battle between 2 mages. I took a couple of steps back as the draugr shot more ice spikes at me.

"Agh!" I released an involuntary scream as I felt something cold piercing my flesh on the right side of my stomach.
Bright Sparks flickerd in my right hand as I realised the Lightning sparks and shot the draugr, it staggered backwards.
It quickly found balance, before I could launch another attack, the draugr spread it's arms wide and chanted in a language I did not even know existed. It's body glitterd in a blue-ish colour.
A huge tornado rose and it shot ice spikes everywhere.

I swung my restless gaze searching in my surroundings, my gaze rested on a pile of rocks on my right side. I instantly sprinted to that direction and used the rock pile as a shield.
Cluttering sounds came from all direction as millions of ice spikes blasted every part of the cave. The tornado was strong enough to produce wind that pushed back some rocks along with everything that was lighter.
The rock pile I was using as shield started to collapse as more strong shock waves occurred along with ice spikes that moved at a speed of a bullet, if I where to try and run somewhere, the moment I step out my body will be teard to shreds.
After a hellish 60 seconds the tornado seemed to have dispersed.
Tearing my t-shirt I placed a piece of cloth on my wound to stop the bleeding and used another one as a bandage, after wrapping it in my waist I felt a cold sensation coming underneath my feet, using all my strength to dive out of the way on that instance ice spikes rose from the ground on where I was hiding.
'That was a close one!'
Looking up, I sighted blue objects heading my direction, I immediately rolled to the side, packs of ice spikes blasted the ground.
The creature tried to cast more ice spikes but I was quick to react. Standing up I casted novice flames, fire enveloped both my hands and burnt the draugr, It's body was covered by a stream of flames but the damage was low due to the enchanted robe. The flames illuminated the whole area, water surfaces glitterd orange - yellow, I hastily lurched forward and kept casting fire magic.
The draugr fell to it's knees, a solid ice wall rose shielding it from my attacks.
"FuckFace."
I cursed and picked the sword I left on the ground earlier.
I dashed around the wall and caught the draugr by surprise, aiming to slice the head clean off, it blocked with it's hand. My sword cut through the creature's bone sending it's arm flying high in the air, I aimed the sword on the draugr's head.
My body was sent flying metres back, I winced in pain, blinking countless times, I instantly got back to my feet.
'Aggh! This fuckhead blowed me away with his breath before I could slay it.'
"It's breath was meant to freeze you but you resisted it."
'QUIET SYSTEM, I'M BUSY!!' I Shouted in fury.
"Sorry." She replied with a somber tone.
An earthquake occurred, and ice pillars rose up surrounding the draugr, leaving no space to even peek.
It's trying to regain health and mana. I need to finish this now!
Wreaking my brain for a plan, I finally found it.
The draugr was in the pool so I casted lightning sparks in the water, it roared and the water froze.
I have never been this frustrated in my life before. I burned with so much rage I wanted to crash the draugr's skull with my fist and rip out it's heart if it had one.
I need an attack from above
"Perfect." An evil smirk curved on my lips.
I casted Lightning sparks and stroke the hanging rock spikes on the cave's ceiling. Rumbling sound came from above and large rocks collapsed landing inside the ice pillars, I dashed out of the way as the ceiling shook and more boulders fell from above and destroyed all ice pillars along with everything on it's way.
After The rumbling sounds have stopped, I slowly raised my head peeking like a rabbit.
Sigh. " I guess it's safe now."
