Doubts regarding after death

At the time of sunrise, there was a boy sitting in meditative posture both eyes closed facing towards the rising sun.

After some time, he stands up lost in his thoughts.

While wondering about something he started to walk towards his house.

When he entered his house he heard a sweet voice calling,"Shakshya did you returned, if you are returned then go and fresh up and do the morning prayer. Till then your food will also be ready."

As Sakshya heard the voice he came out of his thoughts and replied happily,"Okay mother."

After answering to her mother he went to freshen up.

After taking shower he went to his Puja Ghar, in Puja Ghar there was a statue of lord Vishnu and mata Lakshmi. After prayer he picked a book kept in the shelf of Puja Ghar and read it.

There were many hymn written in that book.

He sang them and came to his mother and directly asked her,"Mother what happens to us after we die?"

Her mother just smiled and said jokingly,"After I die, I'll come and tell you what happens."

And she slide the topic off.

What will Sakshya do after this?

Will Shaksya pursue his desire to know answers of the question?
