Chapter 3

"So, if I understand correctly, your request is for me to distribute these cards?" I queried, casting a perplexed glance towards Rias while examining the array of cards neatly stacked on the desk before me.

"That's right. Usually, it's our servant devils or familiars handling this task, but I believe it's an excellent opportunity for you," Rias replied, her expression displaying a faint frown. I hesitated for a moment before reluctantly picking up one of the cards adorned with the Gremory logo and the promising words, 'Your wish will be fulfilled.'

"You want me to spend my time handing these out?" I questioned with a hint of annoyance, disinclined to squander precious time on what seemed like a mundane chore.

Skill Created: Super-Speed

"It's a practice, something we've all done at some point. So—" Rias continued her explanation, but I grew impatient. Deciding to speed up the process, I grabbed the entire stack of papers and, utilizing my super-speed, swiftly maneuvered through town, discreetly slipping the papers into people's pockets and bags. Returning to the ORC building, I found Rias still engrossed in her monologue, seemingly oblivious to my brief departure.

"Rias, I've finished already," I interjected as I nonchalantly dropped onto the couch. The stunned expressions on everyone's faces caught my attention. "Did something happen while I was away?"

"How did you manage to finish so quickly?" Rias inquired, a perplexed expression etched on her face.

"I don't know," I responded. "You told me to do it and I did, don't complain just cause I did my job."

"So your sacred gear is related to speed?" Rias seemed somewhat disappointed, prompting me to sense that something might be amiss. Opting to play along, I offered a white lie.

"In some ways, yes. It primarily enhances and boosts my body's capabilities," I responded, noting the dissatisfaction in Rias's gaze.

"Ah, I see," she replied, visibly discontent.

"Is there anything else you need me to do, or can I take my leave?" I inquired, eager to move on.

"Well, Koneko is occupied, and I need you to take care of one of the summons," Rias instructed, while Akeno initiated the portal. With a nonchalant shrug, I walked through the portal, finding myself in an unfamiliar apartment.

"Who dares summon the Welsh Dragon Emperor?" Ddraig roared outloud, channeling his inner dramatics as I stepped out of the summoning circle, observing a visibly intimidated boy cowering in the corner.

(TIME SKIP)

The clock had already struck past 11 p.m. when I wrapped up my encounter with the guy. Initially, it was just a joke that escalated into a night filled with shared laughter and camaraderie. As we delved into discussions about our interests, I couldn't resist showcasing some of my abilities, and we ended up engrossed in watching Super Dragon Z and engaging in various games. Food arrived, adding to the festive atmosphere, and by the end of the night, he decided to form a contract with me, urging me to visit again soon.

Exiting his place, I found myself strolling down the dimly lit streets, relishing the cool night breeze. Suddenly, an ominous sensation washed over me, alerting me to a significant presence nearby. I turned my head and there she stood at the far end of the road—a tall, imposing figure with an aura of danger surrounding her.

Her appearance was striking, with cascading navy blue hair veiling one of her eyes, and a figure adorned in a maroon trenchcoat-like top and matching miniskirt. The open neckline of her attire revealed a glimpse of her ample cleavage, and a gold necklace adorned her neck. As our eyes met, tension crackled in the air.

"So you are the one that Dohnaseek had failed to kill, when he didn't return we sensed someone with great power kill him... was that you?"

"Well, well, well. Looks like someone's mad. Yes I killed that fedora wearing pigeon. The name is Issei Hyoudou and you have just stepped to your death." I spoke as I felt power surge in me again. In a instant I was right in her face. "Lets see how long you last!"

I pulled my fist back and punched her right in the jaw. Anger seemed to burn in her eyes.

"I am going to kill you! I don't care if you belong to the Gremory!" She summoned a large spear and trust it at me. I grabbed and shattered it before unleashed my wings as I summoned the Boosted Gear.

"BOOST!"

Fear was in her eyes as she saw my gear. "I am not going to die today, let someone else deal with you!" She started to fly away but I leaped at her and grabbed her leg and smashed her into the concret.

"So, ironic, Dohnaseek had said the exact same thing before I had killed him."

"BOOST!"

I slammed my fist into her face stunning her. Before grabbing her by the neck and lifting her up a smirk danced across my lips. "Wow, look at you, you came to kill me and instead your the one that is going to get killed!"

"Fuck you!" She spat blood on my face and I responded with another swift punch to her face.

"God's all you Fallen are just so annoying." I clenched my fist and she struggled and before long a snap was heard and her body went limp. I threw the body to the side as I flicked a small flame at it causing the body to blow up into a burst of feathers. "Geez what's with all these fallen angels after me?"

"I don't know partner," Ddraig spoke up. "but maybe you should learn control. You should be careful as you are using the Boosted Gear withought having trained on it."

"Relax, whats the worst that could happen." I replied heading back home.

"You could either blow up from to much energy usage, or you know go insane and have your emotions go haywire and effect the Gear when some idiot decides to piss you off."

"Right, fair point." I grumbled. "Okay lets get to training."

"Right now?" "Of course. What better time than right now." I unfurled my wings and took off to the mountains.

"Good, I know just the place, so get ready for a month of long training." Ddraig laughed.
