"Hey there, my name's Jotnar. Nice to meet you."

"Heya, I'm Heldga. Wishing you the best of luck, but don't blame me if things get rough."

"Don't worry, I won't hold it against you. But you should stay focused because I won't be taking it easy."

"Alright, let's see how you do, Jotnar."

[OH MOTHER EARTH, PLEASE LISTEN TO MY PLEA AND SHOW THIS FOOL THE POWER OF NATURE]

[MASSIVE VINE]

(Wow, that's a big vine. What am I going to do?)

{God of Fire Technique: Demon's Blaze}

"Hey, what's that guy doing?"

"Is he going to start chanting?"

"It's taking him so long. That giant vine's going to slam him into the ground."

"Do you think she has nature powers?"

"Naw, I think it's more like earth. Nature would be too overpowered."

"You've got a point there."

"Huh, did he mention the God of Fire? Does he share a god with the girl who went up against Thor?"

"Hmm, maybe. How can we know for sure?"

"I heard 'Demon Blaze.'"

"Demon? Nah, the most special systems are usually gods. I've never heard of a demon system."

"Nothing's happening."

(These people are loud. Well, I'll give this a try, I guess.) Jotnar thought.

[RELEASE]

(Wow, that's coming down hard. The vine is moving pretty fast, coming straight at me. I never expected a vine to be this fast, especially one this size.)

{Demon Blaze First Form: Fire Lance}

"Whoa!"

"That's one gigantic lance. Maybe he does have a god system."

"Eh, it looks kind of weak compared to the others."

"Why don't you go down and face him?"

"Nah, I'm pretty sure I'd lose."

{Thrust}

The lance shot through the air at breakneck speed, clashing with the vine. The lance burned the vine, and this fight seemed like Jotnar would win. If she uses Earth against a fire system, she's sure to lose. However, it's a nature system, not a fire one. Something Jotnar and everyone else was about to discover.

[HEAR MY CALL, LIGHTNING CASTLE]

(That didn't work.) Heldga thought.

She needed to chant longer for a spell that big. Jotnar clutched his axes that he took from his stash and began charging at her. It was now or never. That's what went through Jotnar's head. He wouldn't let a chance like this slip away.

[HEAR MY CALL, OH MOTHER NATURE, I BEG OF THEE TO BESTOW SOME OF THY POWER, LIGHTNING CASTLE]

Four seconds, that's all that was needed for Jotnar to close the distance. At a speed that didn't seem possible, she made that castle in three seconds, one second off from his victory. He had let a golden chance slip by. Four seconds might not seem like much, but in a battle against masters, it sure is. Jotnar had just learned the hard way why you should never give your enemy any time to prepare, not even a second. Heldga learned to speak the appropriate chant and not try to shorten it; otherwise, it wouldn't work unless she mastered it.

As Jotnar and Heldga were caught up in their thoughts, a giant castle, about 80 feet tall, was built, and Heldga seemed to reside at the top. So, he had to enter that death trap while everyone watched with anticipation.

{God of Fire Technique: Demon's Blaze}

{Demon's Coat}

Covering himself in a burning red lump of fire that resembled lava, he walked straight to his potential demise. If it came to that point, someone would step in. He couldn't afford to be seen as weak; he had to prove his worth without relying on a system.

Jotnar walked into that castle with a drone right behind him, so everyone could witness the battle and assess their worth, how useful they could be in the cruel, bloody war.

The war between the giants and gods, which had raged for years and reached a stalemate, had finally resumed. This time, the gods had a new leader, known as Zeus. They needed to defeat him. Chronos used to be at the forefront of that battle, but he disappeared, and no one knows why. When they asked an enemy soldier about it, he said that Zeus had proven his worth and refused to speak another word, even under torture. He was killed soon after. But that had nothing to do with the present.

The drone became invisible, and Jotnar was now on the first floor, or as Heldga called it, the "Lightning Den." Bolts of lightning struck everywhere, and a giant knight made of lightning stood there with his sword thrust into the ground right in front of the stairs at the very end of this den.

Jotnar ran straight towards the knight, skillfully avoiding every bolt of lightning that came his way. The knight quickly removed the sword that was stuck in the ground and picked it up but didn't move from his spot. This was only the first floor, but Jotnar was already reaching his limit, trying to dodge lightning bolts. The knight finally moved when Jotnar was close to the stairs. Boom! The knight swung his sword straight at Jotnar's head. Jotnar raised the four axes in his four hands and yelled.

{Enchantment}

Jotnar barely managed to block the attack. He tried to retaliate, but it went right through the body made of lightning. As the knight began a relentless assault,

{God of Fire Technique: Demon's Blaze}

{FIRE MISSILE}

BOOOOOOOOOOM .....

An explosion, that's the only way to describe it. Jotnar had just unleashed a cataclysmic blast. The entire room turned to ash as he incinerated the lightning. Everyone stood flabbergasted that he burned lightning, but Jotnar was on his knees, gasping for air. If the other floors were anything like this, there was no way he could win. With all the hard work he had put in, there was no way he was going to lose with that in mind he pushed on.
