Death and life

I yelled, "Leo," as he hurried into the room. With wide eyes, he stood there.

"What are you going to do to send his ass packing?" Leo inquired, as I had tears in my violet eyes.

I'm unable to fight. I just learned I'm expecting, Leo. I gasped when Ethan took hold of my hand and said, "I'm safe, but the baby wouldn't be if I fought. "Leo, you have to fight."

You know that I couldn't even defeat Isabelle, right? My heart sank as he lost his temper. He was correct, but I had no idea how to proceed.

I shrieked, "Ethan," as he forced me to look in his direction. "I have to fight if it appears that the entire pack is going to perish."

"No, the baby!" He spoke bluntly.

"The baby would die anyway if I didn't fight," I said, exploding in rage. I withdrew from his embrace and followed Daniel into the guardian compound. To prevent changing into my Lycan form, I stood there, acquiring as many weapons as I could. I sat down as I made my way to the roof while holding the pistols. Daniel organized the rest of the pack as I held the firearms. As Benard approached my army, my heart began to accelerate. I shot at him, but he was well defended. I kept firing at his army, but an equal number of my soldiers also took damage. I touched my stomach as tears ran down my cheeks. Hoping down, I changed into my Lycan form, conscious that I might have just killed my child.

"BENARD!" He turned against me when I growled.

Sarah, when are you going to stand up for the pack? I scowled as he spat.

"You know why I didn't fight, but despite the personal loss to my family, I'm here for my pack!" My body sauntering toward him, I snarled. "The pack always takes precedence!"

"Where you are mistaken is that the pack never comes first." As he barked at me, Benard said He jumped at me, and I saw his muscles tense. I avoided it by swiping at his side. I enjoyed watching my nails rake down his flank. He cried out in agony and snapped his fangs at me. As his mouth clamped down on my shoulder, I whimpered. Before swiping at his face, I let out a breath that jiggled loose. I saw the blood on the ground as my claws sank into his face. A kid watching from the edge of the trees caused me to pause. Benard saw her and charged at her. I leapt over him without thinking and landed in front of the girl, taking a defensive stance. He grinned as he dragged his claws across my abdomen, pouring blood onto the snow.

"Leave her alone; she's a child." As my wounds began to heal, I snarled. If I gave up, I worried about what he would do to the rest of the pack. I slammed into him with all of my might, my teeth clenching on his throat as I felt my wrath erupt. As I continued to squeeze until his body became limp and fell to the ground, I could taste the copper blood in my mouth. I once again turned to stare at his motionless, moving body.

As the fighting stopped, I screamed, "Sweetie," and grabbed the young girl. Benard's arm retreated without pausing while my pack stared at me in disbelief. I inhaled deeply as the young child clung to me fiercely. "Who are your parents?"

"Daddy!" Daniel hurried through the throng in response to the girl's scream. Benard lay lifeless on the ground, and he saw his daughter in my arms.

He took her from my arms and whispered, "Oh baby, you were supposed to stay inside," as his eyes filled with relief. I'm grateful Sarah saved my little girl.

"No problem," I replied, stroking my stomach as tears welled up in my eyes. Leo was having a disagreement with Ethan when I returned to the compound.

"You seriously think I'm going to let you leave her just because she did what she thought was right?" As Ethan stuffed his possessions into a suitcase, Leo yelled.

"She murdered our child! Ethan roared, forcing me to shudder: "She could have left with me and we would have been OK.

"She would have destroyed the entire pack if she had left. You don't suppose he would have killed everyone, including other kids? I glanced at my stomach as Leo instructed.

"So you just cut and run when things get tough?" My face was covered in blood, and I gasped. "You're my mate, so how come you can just leave without telling me?"

You murdered our infant for a group of people who will only view you as a monster, they said. I stared at Ethan as he roared.

I snarled, "I saved a little girl today," and shot him a glare. "Even if this hurts the baby, we don't know it yet!"

"Let me show you!" He pushed his fingers roughly against my stomach while grunting. He touched my stomach with his power, and I almost overturned. Before leaving the house, he turned back to his suitcase and began to pack his belongings inside.

"Damn it, Ethan!" I started crying and fell to the ground. I kept crying as Leo picked me up and put me on the bed. I was abandoned by the man I loved without a second thought. He just left since he is aware of how strong a tie between friends is.

"Hello," Alicia said as she ascended the stairs. She entered my room and noticed that my face still had blood on it. "She fought?" you ask.

Leo murmured, "She couldn't watch them get slaughtered," as Alicia drew nearer.

She gasped, "I can hear them," as I blinked in perplexity. "The baby is doing fine."

But Ethan departed. She shook her head as I gasped, "He couldn't feel the baby."

"Because you'll be facing the upcoming group of Gemini Lycans, whose power will be ten times greater than yours. Eyes wide, Alicia continued, "They are part witch and are hiding their presence.

Leo responded, "I'll go get Ethan," but I rebuffed him.

I gasped, wanting him so badly: "No, he left, and I don't want him to come back just for the babies." Our partnership can't be held together by a baby. He must want to return, though, if he does.
