The classification of power has always intrigued me so I decided to leave a clearer record, hopefully this reaches the tower of Eli safely. The records of our past and future are in your hands.
The power system for the high human novel follows these routes
The Sage path
The Divine path
The Chosen
The Sage part has 2 routes
The body path which deals with enhancement and integration of the element into the body
And the soul path which condenses the soul and the element into a higher form which is a weapon.
The divine path has 2 routes
The embodiment path
In which one creates a domain with the element of one affinity. They are the mages equivalent of the body path.
And the spirit path
One uses his soul and his element to create an elemental spirit the mages equivalent of the soul path.
The Chosen
A few individuals are chosen by the will of the world with the void element.
It has no elemental affinities and they serve as members of Faith - a cross national power
Members are no longer bound by families or identities as the become the spokesperson of God. Their powers are not understood by those who do not wield them.
The elemental affinities are
Basic
Fire Water Earth Air
Advanced
Lava Ice Metal Life (think of it as the element responsible for plant life and healing, there's no clear definition)
Variants are derived from the basic elements with each corresponding to its source but with a little altercation.
Variant
Lightning Light Darkness.
It has no correlation with the basic or variant elements.
It is said that only a few from each generation have ever awakened it. Legend has it that the Light and Darkness affinities are the advanced form of the Lightning element but since the end of the chaotic era no one has ever used such.
The Void element
The power system has 4 stages
Acclimatization stage
The first contact with the elements. Can only use the element for basic stuff with no path or route designated
Starts from when child is born till the moment of awakening.
Awakening is the phenomenon when an individual path and route has been decided. There is no set stage or route for it.
Some people may never get awakened
The system
The Human stage.
Body
The elements are introduced into the body for the body path, restructuring the muscles organ and skin, the pathway for the elements to flow and the body is refined into its most perfect state.
Soul
The elements and a fragment of the users souls is split to create a unique soul weapon which can be summoned at anytime but when unsummoned lives inside of the user. The soul weapon grows from its embryonic stage till it's perfect state. The body is better configured to house the weapon.
Divine
For the divine path a layer of the element begins to condense around the user creating an area of control. The body is refined to create a connection between the user a d the space under its control. The space is both active and passive and continues to grow until it reaches the limit (depends on the user)
Spirit
The elements and a fragment of the soul creates a pseudo soul called a spirit. It becomes the medium the use the power. From its embryonic stage to its perfect stage and the body of the user is better adapted to peer the spirit.
Divided into 5 stages to indicate how far the progress has gone and how close to ascension the user is
The Ascendant Stage
At this point the lines between the route begin to blur as the limits of human is surpassed. A wise one once said that all paths leads to the same destination and maybe he was right.
Body
The body path after being continuous refined by the elements can be elementasized. The elements can also be manipulated from distance but the precision and control is not as good as a domain.
Soul
The soul of the user completely merges with the elemental weapon. The body still exists but now the body and the weapon are 2 separate sides of the same coin. Even if the body is completely destroyed as long as the soul weapon remains the body can be reconstructed. Elemental control also increases.
Divine
The pace under the user becomes an independent space separate from the world, although they can still function outside of it, their full power comes out inside of the domain. Must be opened to be used if not it remains closed. Inside the domain, the body merges with the domain.
Spirit
The soul of the user completely merges with the elemental spirit. The body still exist but now the body and the spirit soul are 2 separate sides of the same coin. Even if the body is completely destroyed as long as the spirit remains the body can be reconstructed. Elemental control also increases.
The God stage
No one has even been there, no answers are known
