Still not able to comprehend what he saw, Jonathan showed me the cause of his great surprise. Taking a look at his soul sword's information, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how the system has expanded my creative idea. It expertly broadened and gave structure to a class that was originally just an idea.

"Since the system stayed faithful to the core of the class that I've created, I should be able to guide you in the fastest and the most efficient way possible, for you to easily get familiar with your new class," I told Jonathan in comfort.

"Since it's you, I really don't have to worry about anything. With your guidance, I'm confident I can master my new class in no time." Jonathan said with a grin, as not a single trace of worry could be found on his face.

Letting out a sigh, I shook my head at myself for worrying over nothing. I thought Jonathan would be too overwhelmed, but contrary to my belief, he was taking everything a little too well, if I say so myself. He kept his cool and didn't overreact or get too excited, which just shows how mature he is. Additionally, I'm getting this strong feeling that Jonathan has already understood a lot of the things about his new class, which also shows his strong capability and reliability, not making me spoon-fed him everything. From the short time that we've been together, the only time he asks me questions is when he's really confused or if he can't really come up with a definite answer.

When we finished eating, I let out a sigh in amazement, seeing all the clean containers on the table. Jonathan could really eat his fill, and it brought joy to my heart, seeing him so satisfied.

As we cleaned the table, I told Jonathan, "I've already handled your discharge papers, so once we finish cleaning up, we can already head out."

"Copy that!" Jonathan replied with a charming smile.

After we finished cleaning up, I then collected all my belongings before we headed out. As we walked out of the hospital, doctors and nurses that recognized me and Jonathan greeted us politely and with respect, which was strange. But I guess that comes with staying on the VIP floor of the hospital.

Walking out of the hospital, the cab that I booked earlier, has already arrived and was waiting for us. Getting in the cab, I told the driver to drop us off at the Hunter's Association mall.

Jonathan stayed quiet the whole ride, his eyes fixated out the window. Letting him be, I checked my phone when it pinged. It was a message from the association, informing me that they've completely reviewed the video that I've recently sent. Apparently, the association has been keeping an eye on the Buhawi Guild, because of their recent shady movements. The association has been tracking down the guild's movements to find evidence against them, but the Buhawi Guild kept slipping away time and time again. The video I sent, has given the association solid evidence for their investigation. Unfortunately, it's still wasn't enough, as the Buhawi Guild has gained a lot of influence and grown in fame in recent months. The association has been careful with handling matters regarding the Buhawi Guild, since going against them recklessly can tarnish the name and honor of the Hunter's Association. Since the association would be going against hunters that are extremely well-loved and respected by the citizens.

Sending a quick reply, I told the association that I was glad that I could help and to inform me if there were any progress with their investigation. Since the Buhawi Guild had the nerve to lay their filthy hands on what's mine, I'll make sure that they pay for their crimes dearly. I take pride in making sure that my people are well taken care of. I'd go above and beyond for them. I'd go as far as laying my life down for them. That's just how much I cherish and love them.

As we arrived at the association's mall, Jonathan and I both got off the cab after I paid for the fare.

"C'mon, we have a lot of things to accomplish today," I told Jonathan before we walked towards the entrance of the mall.

I had a lot of things listed for us to do, so without wasting a single second, I dragged Jonathan to multiple clothing stalls to buy him every type of garment that he would need. From home wear to sleepwear, to casual clothes, you name it, I bought it. I had a blast buying clothes for him since he would always be swarmed by the lady attendants. He was shy at first, but then it didn't take long for him to start feeling annoyed. Being the polite person that he is, he did his best to hold his annoyance in, but I could clearly see them in his eyes.

After we left the last clothing stall and are currently headed to our next destination, I noticed that Jonathan has been strangely quiet. From the moment that we got on the cab, until now, he's been keeping to himself.

"What's up? You've been awfully quiet" I said as we kept our pace slow.

"I just feel so embarrassed that you've always had taken care of me. From paying for my hospital bills to getting me to stay in a VIP room, to even buying me more clothes than I couldn't ever imagine. I just feel so ashamed and embarrassed, that I just kept depending on you." Jonathan said, his head hanging low.

Gently cupping his face with both of my hands, I lifted up his head to make sure that he was looking at me.

"You depending on me makes me extremely happy," I told Jonathan with a soft smile on my face. "You're my vassal, and it's my responsibility to take care of you. Didn't I promise that I'd make sure that you are living a comfortable life without worries? So you don't have to feel shameful or embarrassed. In fact, be even more shameless in asking me for all the things you want, because I would give them to you. That's how much I care and cherish you. Because you belong to me, Understand?"

Hearing the words I've spoken, I could see Jonathan's eyes started welling up with unshed tears. Getting choked back by his own tears, Jonathan just answered with a nod.

"I didn't expect you to be such a cry baby." I teased Jonathan as I softly wipe away his tears that escaped.

"Only for you," Jonathan replied with a charming smile that just melts my heart away.

Not wanting for him to continue feeling down, I took his hand in mine before I led him to our next destination.

Arriving at the gadgets section of the mall, I then bought Jonathan the latest model of smartphone, with all the accessories included. After that, I asked Jonathan what he would like, a personal PC or a laptop. But as he was deciding, I just decide to buy him both, which made him shake his head at me, with a helpless smile.

After our little talk, Jonathan visibly became even more brighter. He no longer shied away from the things I buy for him and gratefully accepts them with a huge grin on his face. And just seeing that bright smile on his face, I felt so fulfilled.

For our next destination, we went to the bank, so I could open a new account for Jonathan, which was connected to mine. Jonathan didn't understand why I had to make him a bank account, though.

"Remember what I said? I said I take care of my people. So that includes, daily allowances. Capish?" I told him with a straight tone in my voice, leaving no room for arguments. And with that, Jonathan didn't say any more

After entering his new bank account on his new phone, I then bought him a new wallet, since I've already disposed of his old one, including his old Hunter's license. As Jonathan was about to strongly react, I immediately reassured him that I've already requested for a new one to be made, from the association, which calmed him off quickly.

Going through my mental checklist, we've pretty much gone through most of it, leaving only one more. We then headed to the male salon, to get Jonathan a much fresher and cleaner look. Going with the classic undercut, his new hairstyle really helped extenuate his natural facial bone structure to its highest potential. Looking more refined with his new haircut, I have to say, looking at Jonathan just keeps getting more and more dangerous for me by the second that passes by. I swear, one of these days, I would just suddenly drop dead because of excessive blood loss. Not just figuratively but literally as well. I mean, he's just perfect, plain and simple.

After finishing everything we'd set out to do, Jonathan and I decided to take a walk near the bay, which was just outside of the association's mall. Hand in hand, we walked in perfect and comfortable silence, with him having an ice cream cone of his free hand, while I had boba on mine. With the occasional sharing of what we have with each other, everything just felt so peaceful and perfect. If one might ask me, what would I call my relationship with Jonathan? Well, I'd say it's a very special one, that can't really be bounded by labels. Let's just say, that after he became my vassal, Jonathan became a very important person in my life. He both felt like my family and my lover at the same time. I may have a different way of living my life as a Duke from the past, but as I've said before, I'm gonna be doing things my own way.

Everything was going well, until both our phones suddenly started vibrating non-stop. As we both take our phones out, an emergency alert continuously blared on our phone screens.

A Silver-Ranked Gate Break has occurred at -----! We advise all non transcended citizens to immediately take shelter and observe proper Gate Break policies until it is deemed by The Hunter's Association to be safe.

Hunters from the association have already been dispatched.

We kindly ask for Hunters near the area to please provide assistance in protecting the citizens and hold off the monster wave, until the arrival of the Hunter's of the Association.

Of course, any assistance will be greatly appreciated and rewarded.

After seeing the emergency notification, both Jonathan and I simultaneously looked at each other.

With a big excited grin, Jonathan said, "Since we're already close by, we could quickly go over there to lend a helping hand. Besides, I need to start getting used to my new class, and what better teacher is than experience!"

I also agree with Jonathan, but before I agreed I had to make sure that Jonathan extremely understands one thing.

"We are going over there. But you have to understand that our lives are the top priority. If things are going out of control, we will retreat and let the stronger hunters handle the situation. Our lives are much more important than any form of glory and I don't want you getting seriously hurt, am I clear?!" I said with a serious tone in my voice, as I looked at him with an extremely serious expression on my face.

Seeing the grave seriousness in my expression, Jonathan nodded with sincerity.

"Yes, master!" Jonathan gave a firm reply. The change in the way he addressed me, greatly shows his firm compliance to my orders.

Hearing my vassal's response, a proud smile appeared on my face. So without further ado, both Jonathan and I rushed to the site of the Gate Break.
