4 Famous [1]

Hospital lobby...

I was standing in admist of crowds around me.

I had talked to doctor earlier for leaving earlier but he said that i have to say for at least a day.

So after coming out of doctor's office I was just standing here watching patients coming in and going out.

There were lots of patients, maybe in hundreds or thousands.

These types of numbers only can found in hospital.

Anyway I soon turned my gaze towards the TV that was set in hospital lobby.

There was movie going on TV, it's called [Greatest spy].

Theaom charector was the world greatest spy, but he didn't know that because he lost all his memories.

The secen that was playing in TV was just begging of the movie.

A police man was pointing his gun twords the protagonist.

Protagonist didn't have clue what was going on here but he silently raised his hands in the air and surrender.

The scene was just getting intense here, like me many othe gaze also focus on the secen in front of them.

But I didn't pay any attention on them my entirely focus on the screen and nothing else seems to matter right now.

Police officer cautiously took out handcuffs from his pocket and approach the protagonist, His gun still pointing at the forehead of the protagonist.

The protagonist may lost his memories but his body didn't forget anything.

Protagonist martial arts skills still lingers on his body whithout even realizing it, reflexively knocks down the police officer and defeats him.

'...Hmm?'

Wait minute something is wrong here.

While watching a movie secen just now, something felt strange.

No, I should say it is a something wrong with my senses.

It was different sense then five senses of human body. [Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste and Touch].

I could see the moment of protaganist in very small motion but I think that's my imagination because that's sensation lasted for only moment.

But it felt like I was experiencing a sixth sense, something beyond the physical realm. It was as if I could sense the emotions, the intentions, and the energy of the scene unfolding before me.

As I continued to watch the movie, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease. It was as if there was something significant about this particular scene, something that resonated with me on a deeper level.

-VROOOOM!!!

My thoughts of trying to understand the strange sensation was intruped by the vibration of my mobile.

"Hello?"

-Am I speaking to Mr. Raj?"

"Yes, but who are you?"

-hello. My name is Jay Jadhav, an investigator from the Marinlines Police Station's traffic investigation division.

"Ah yes."

-Yes, yes, it's no different. This morning, we have to take the victim's statement in connection with the traffic accident investigation. May I know where you are now?

When I mentioned the name of the hospital, a bright voice came from the other side.

-Good for you. I happen to be in the hospital lobby.

"yes? I'm in the lobby too."

-You're the tall man talking on the phone right now, right?

"Where are you?"

"I'm right here-"

I heard a voice from behind and felt someone place a hand on my left shoulder.

Right then at that moment.

My body started moving on its own.

… what?

It feels like someone else is controlling me.

I grabbed his hand, turned my body like lightning, and instantly threw the opponent to the floor.

A cold silence filled the hospital lobby.

Everyone was watching me shocked eyes.

Meanwhile I tried to make sense of what had just happened. My heart raced with confusion and fear as I looked down at the person I had just subdued. It was Jay Jadhav, the investigator from the traffic division.

"What... what just happened?" I stammered, my voice trembling with disbelief.

The onlookers murmured amongst themselves, their expressions a mixture of shock and confusion.

"I... I don't know," Jay muttered, struggling to get up from the floor. "One moment I was behind you, the next... you... you just..."

His words trailed off as he looked up at me, his eyes wide with astonishment.

I could feel the weight of everyone's gaze bearing down on me, their silent questions hanging in the air. How had I reacted so quickly, so instinctively? Was it just a lucky coincidence, or was there something more at play?

As I tried to gather my thoughts, a sense of unease washed over me. The strange sensation I had experienced while watching the movie... the sudden surge of energy coursing through my body... it all felt connected somehow, like pieces of a puzzle falling into place.

But before I could dwell on it any further, hospital security rushed over, their voices stern as they demanded an explanation for the commotion.

"I... I don't know what happened," I insisted, my words sounding hollow even to my own ears.

***

"I'm sorry!"

"It's fine."

"No, it's not! I'm really sorry for what happened earlier please forgive me!"

I said as I bow my head towards the police officer, who I just threw in the ground.

"Sheesh...I get i forgive you so can you please stop this? People are looking towards us."

Jay said as he glance around the hospital cafeteria, and just like he said people were glancing towards.

I quickly calm myself and set properly on table, Jay als did the same.

There was silence for moment as both of us jus staring at each other.

Jay was the one who broke the silence...

"Ahem...Let me reintroduce myself. I'm the investigateor officer of the traffic accident that happened this early morning and my name is Jay Jadhav."

"Hello."

Short sports cut, With dark skin and thick lines, his face was reminiscent of a detective.

The business card he gave me was written as 'Traffic Investigation Inspector Jay Jadhav.'

"Are you any more injured than that?" I asked as I glance over his body.

Inspector Jaysmiled coolly.

"It's fine Really, I was in the judo club back in the day. I can't get hurt over this much, ah... !"

"Are you really okay?"

"iced coffee…I'm saying that I'm not that much hurt"

By the look he was giving it must very painful, but I decided to get over it.

"It's amazing that how easily you use that moved. It's not a skill you've can have after practicing for a day or two, but if it comes out unconsciously, you must have been a good player."

"Ah yes… ."

It was a lie, but here I was thinking, 'I copied the techniques from the movie without even realizing it, haha.' You can't do it, right?

Soon the other person took out his notebook and started asking questions.

I answered faithfully.

After the short Q&A, I asked the question I was curious about.

"Was it possible that this case is drunk driving? The car was going back and forth."

"It's not drunk driving. The driver have epilepsy. When I heard about this person's situation, I heard that she had a seizure while dropping her daughter off at the exam site."

"Can epilepsy patients also have a driver's license?"

"it's possible."

The police officer nodded.

"Well, it's too complicated to explain here, but there were no legal issues with obtaining a license."

"… is that so."

It's kind of bittersweet to think that the reason I can't take the CSAT is because of the family of a test taker like me.

"So what happens now?"

"I have to book it. In any case, thank God you aand other victim is alive otherwise I would have sent two people away to their funeral."

The police officer tried to make joke but it was not a joke for me.

I almost died.

Now I realize how reckless it was to jump in front of a speeding car.

If the same situation were to repeat itself,

would I act the same way?

No.

That the oalin and simple answer.

I wouldn't have guts to this again.

"Have you contacted your family?"

The police officer said as he changed the subject after knowing how bad his joke was.

"I don't have parents but I have grandmother who lives in Delhi. I was trying to contact her earlier but phone is off, She must be praying for exam success in some tample."

"Ah...I see."

The young police officer expression was hard to read as I said those words, not knowing what to say he changed the subject again.

"You heard it already but you really did a great job. You saved a person life."

"Thank you."

Nodding his head the police officer continues

"You must be feeling resentful and how unfair this world is but don't worry, You will receive the fruit of your hard labour?"

"Yes?"

"Your life change soon just you watch."

"What's that sposed to mean?"

"Oh, We'll you know soon enough."

Saying that police officer get from his seat and shook my hand.

.

.

.

'Soon enough?'

With those words I was about to leave cafeteria of the hospital following behind police Jay.

Soon enough I realized what he meant.

"Huh? He come out!"

A group of people surrounded me.

All of them were carrying cameras and micks on their hands.

They were reports.

At that moment someone handed me a buisness card.

"Hello, I'm Shivani Sharma, a reporter from the National Daily News. Can we have a moment of your time for an interview?"

My mind raced with confusion as I looked around at the reporters surrounding me. How had they found out about what happened? And why were they so interested in talking to me?

But before I could gather my thoughts, the reporters began bombarding me with questions, their cameras flashing and microphones thrust in my face.

"Mr. Raj, can you tell us what happened in the early morning?"

"How did you manage to save a life of another person?"

"Did you not fear that you could die in the process of saving someone?"

Overwhelmed by the sudden attention, I struggled to find the right words to respond. It felt surreal, like I was living in a dream.

I don't know how But it's seems that I have become famous.
