Rise of the Dragon Emperor

Hello there! I'm the author and this is my second attempt at making a novel. I have put in a lot of effort to make this novel as good as possible so that you can enjoy the novel which I have written. There will be minor mistakes within the novel, but I have tried my best to make the reading experience as best as possible. If you notice any errors or things that you do not like I will try to improve the problem as soon as possible. I hope that you enjoy my novel and continue to read it. I look forward to seeing all your comments and being able to interact with all of you :) Druak was an aspiring mage who wished to gain vast amounts of knowledge and had an incredibly amount of curiosity. Fate, however didn’t allow him to follow the path which he wished to follow. After a failed experiment Druak was sent into a coma for many years and lost his best chance to learn anything about magic. After living for 27 years Druak tragically died after being pushed off a cliff by a figure which was cloaked in black. Druak had lived a miserable life, each person he ever cared for or got close die before his eyes. Even his best friend was brutally killed in front of his eyes and Druak was powerless to stop it. 100 years after Druaks death a battle that shook the entire continent took place between a Lich king and four minor kingdoms. This battle resulted in the death of the Lich King. And the death of this Lich King seemed to set something into motion. Traveling all the way back in time Druak was once again alive, this time inside his 17-year-old body. He was finally given a second chance however, unbenounced to him he wasn’t the only one who was given a second chance. The cover of this novel does not belong to me so if the original owner wishes for me to take it down please let me know and I will be sure to change it.

Unfathomable Beauty

The chattering kept going throughout the hall and was getting louder and louder, and seemed as if it wouldn't stop anytime soon. Then…

*Bang*

Everything went silent, as the students looked towards what had made such a loud sound. This had also caused Druak to come back to reality, as before then he could only think about how the old teacher knew about Astra.

As Druak turned his head he noticed that half of the student expressions had once again dropped. It only took Druak a second to realise why. The president of the academy had slammed his walking stick on the floor, lightning sparking out from every direction.

"SILENCE!!!" The booming voice of the president shook the very foundations of the hall, almost as if an earthquake had just happened.

Now that the students had quieted down the president pulled out his walking stick which was embedded into the ground, pulling pieces of floor debris out in the process.

"Cornell, come to my office tomorrow morning before classes. I have something I need to speak with you about." Druak was confused by this, as he would have expected to be called to the office as well.

'Just who is it that's keeping me safe from that noble obsessed president.' Druak couldn't figure out just who could be powerful enough to stop the president from acting, since as far as Druak knew there wasn't anyone in this kingdom that could.

After making the students quiet down the rest of the acceptance ceremony seemed to go rather smoothly, and no nobles muttered another word about what had previously happened, they would probably do so after the event though.

Once the president entered the hall, the other teachers soon followed suit.

Sirah looked toward Druak however after seeing the serious expression on his face she thought.'He looks like he needs to think about what just happened. I'll just leave him alone and go exploring on my own.'

"I'm gonna do a bit more exploring before the boring speeches start. I'll catch up with you later." Sirah waves goodbye to Druak as she starts skipping around the hall, looking for anything interesting.

Druak wasn't at all bothered by this as he was still focused on something, it just wasn't what Sirah thought it was. Druak just couldn't understand how a 4th stage class could discover the presence of a dragon, even if Astra was in egg form, and even then it made no sense since the old man seemed to know about her existence before she had even turned into her egg form.

On the balcony of the second floor, a student had been leaning against the banisters and had watched all which had previously transpired. All students who passed this bewitching beauty could not help but comment on how beautiful she was, some even going to talk to her, which led to her guard stopping them in their tracks and pushing them to the ground as if they were mere rubbish.

Sensing the glare of someone Druak quickly spins around, however, is quickly stunned in place.

Druak could instantly tell. This beauty could instantly captivate any man. Her flawless tanned skin looked as if it was made by the finest silks, enhanced by the crimson red hair that wildly flowed down her back. The skin-tight red dress which clung to her seductive body, which had curves in all the right places, accentuated by the red skin-tight dress, which had a slit that rode all the way up her leg to the girl's waist.

Druak recognises this girl as Raya vermillion, a girl whom he had next to no interaction with. Just as he was about to look away, Raya turned towards him, and their eyes met.

Instantly Druak froze in place as if something had stopped him from doing anything. He literally couldn't take his eyes off of her.

They stare at each other almost as if they were the only two beings in existence, the girl didn't even notice her bodyguard who had been calling out her name repeatedly. Druak was no different as his mind went almost completely blank

Beginning to worry for her safety, the bodyguard panics and starts shaking Raya, shouting."Miss. Miss. Are you ok."

*Whoosh*

A sudden discharge of mana burst out from both Raya and Druak, one a serien, icy blue and the other a raging, crimson red. Each compressed into a wisp of mana that flowed into the opposite one which produced it, causing both Raya and Druak to drop to the floor.

'What the hell was that.' Druak thought as he tried to get back to his feet.

Once he finally gets to his feet Druak looks up to see if Raya is still there, hoping he can get some answers, but as he looks up he realises Raya had already disappeared.

Druak looks around and notices that the students around him are looking at him strangely, but what makes no sense is what Druak hears next.

"What the hell, why'd that commoner just drop to the floor for no reason."

"He's probably just doing it for attention. We should just ignore him."

'Wait. Did they not see that discharge of mana…. What the hell was that, and just who is that girl.' Ignoring the stares of the nobles Druak begins to storm toward the stairs to the second floor.

Just as Druak is about to take his first step to the first floor. *Bang* A sound Druak is all too familiar with, the sound of the president slamming his walking stick on the ground to get the student's attention.

Muttering under his breath Druak says. "Damn it. Guess I'm gonna have to wait till I can talk to her and find out what just happened." Druak then slowly walks to the side of the stairs and looked up at the second floor, to watch the president give his speech. The other students on the first floor followed in Druak's action, as they waited in anticipation for the president's speech.
