{1st, POV, Ethan}

BOOOM!!!

SCREEEEAH!!!

'Was that an explosion?? From the sound of it, it seems there is a fight going on ahead as I can hear the screeching of a monster... '

I am very close to the palace ruins, but after hearing that explosion I realized I am not alone in this place.

I silently moved closer to the battle zone, using flash steps. I didn't use teleportation, as magic will leave traces of residual mana that might alert whoever is fighting. I'm not sure if it's a friend or a foe, so maintaining caution is not a bad idea.

I climbed a tree and began to observe the battel from a branch, quietly without making any sound. Just as I took a seat, someone screamed loudly and another explosion occurred.

"Take this you lowly pieces of stones!!!"

Whoos!!!...

BOOOM!!!

"Uuuu... "

I saw a beautiful woman probably in her early twenties fighting or more precisely beating the crap out of a group of Stone Giants.

Stone Giants are pure earth elemental-type creatures with zero intelligence. They are identical to the golems but they are natural-born. Their main attribute is high defense, but they are naturally very slow because of their huge bodies.

The woman has long black hair and black eyes. A voluptuous figure, and fair skin. She also has a pair of short red horns growing out of her forehead. She also wore a black outfit consisting of a shoulderless top and tight long black pants with long frills hanging at either side of thick hips. With a strap of a golden belt, she is wearing a pair of see-through black long gloves, similar to stockings.

Her hands are coated with blue flames. She kept throwing orbs made of concentrated flames toward the Stone Giants.

"She is a target too... "

I muttered while watching her fight.

From her aura I can tell, she is one realm higher than me. This means she is a level 1 expert. I can feel small traces of fire intent from her attacks.

Nevertheless, she is at a disadvantage. Earth elemental is immune to the fire element. Even though the Stone Giants are only at the master level they specialize in defense. Her flames are doing very little damage.

After watching her fight for a few more minutes, I can accurately say one thing.

'She is weak.'

I admit, that her level is higher compared to mine. Still, I will kick her ass with a single move.

She clearly lacks combat experience. Her moves are lacking a clear vision. She is not using aura too. I guess, she still hasn't awakened her aura. That means I'm physically stronger than her, and because of my magic immunity winning against her will be a piece of cake.

From, what I observed so far. Her intent must be about the temperature of her flames, cause they are unusually hotter.

'Her fire element is a mutation.'

From, what I understand. After, observing her flames. They can spread much faster than normal fire. But, they lack in damage.

She must have focused on increasing the temperature of her flames, in an attempt to make them more deadly. Because her attacks lack in terms of damage.

(System, show me an item that can fake my presence.)

Ring of fantasy: This ring can fake the presence of the wearer to anything they wish. The effects are almost undetectable, only someone with special eyes or someone who is extremely stronger than the wearer will be able to see through it.

Plus, handsome boys have an easy time getting close to girls. I just increased the length of my ears, making me look similar to elves. My hairs are silver, so I can easily pass on as a high elf.

As I was about to make my move Avelona threw a huge ball made of fire towards the group of Stone Giants.

Regardless, her attack wasn't able to finish off the giants. The Giants are still not defeated. Only, more cracks formed on their bodies.

The stone Giants shout in anger.

The giants become furious and started to attack more aggressively. Avelona is in a tough spot now. If I don't help even if she wins, she might get injured badly.

'Time to get to work.'

I thought and teleported close to the battlefield.

Till now, I was hiding behind the trees, while concealing my presence. Avelona wasn't able to detect my presence. But, now I decided to stop hiding and made my presence noticed.

"It seems you need some help. Beautiful lady."
