THE FIRST KILL
Frank retreated frantically as he looked at the worm that was still charging at him. No doubt this was the sandworm mentioned. It looked vicious with two fangs hanging outside its mouth. As it moved a fluid like saliva poured out of it. Frank knew he had no option but to fight it. But he had no weapons!
The only way out was to use what he had. His own body.
"So long as I avoid its sharp fangs!" he planned. He looked at the worm intently trying to calculate the speed it took to cover the 3 metres distance between them. He waited until it was so close then he ran 1 metre to the left of the worm and 3 metres back to where the worm once was. The work went up to the point he originally stood and lingered there for like three seconds as if deciding where to go next. Then it turned following the left turn that Frank used. It covered again that same 1 metre distance and stopped. After like another three seconds it turned to where he stood 3 metres away.
Frank analysed and was satisfied that he could easily pounce on the worm with kicks once it stood to find again his next position, seeing How sluggish it was while deciding where to move. Although it took less time to move but it wastes a lot more on its analysis of the target's position.
"This thing doesn't have eyes! It only senses or smells my presence," he concluded.
He quickly ran around in a circular formation and came behind the huge tail of the worm. He stopped and kicked it once on the tail. The worm rolled headfirst. But now it fell facing its attacker. It stood dazed for 3 seconds then charged at Frank. This time he dodged and came by its side. When the worm reached where he previously stood, it again stopped to gauge his new position. Frank did not allow it as he kicked once again. It rolled a few metres away. He still followed it and before it could regain a standing position he landed two more kicks on its upturned belly.
The worm spat out a huge watery substance and it coiled back into a tiny thing on the ground.
"Dead! Got You!" Frank sighed when he witnessed the contracting worm on the ground. It had suddenly withered into a small dry piece of scally skin.
Ding!
A notification popped in his mind as a screen displayed.

Frank looked at his stats and he was happy. Just killing this piece of simple worm had given him multiple gains. His physical attributes had increased by 1 point now reaching 4, and he had even got 10 credit points! Even more applauding was that his initially passive skill had been activated and he had gained an ability! Combat ability! Indeed he had fought that worm in combat to unlock this ability. Since the method he relied on was kicking a skill called crash kick was activated. But he was merely in level one of that skill. The good thing he noted was that it could be advanced through gaining more experience.
"Truly this is a world of unlimitliness!" he said joyfully as he started walking away from the plains.
He needed to kill 3 more monsters to improve his general attributes! As he walked he called on the system. It immediately detailed his current status:
