"I've never heard of the V organization. Why do you assume and ask those condescending questions when I have no relationship with them?" Doctor Kanou couldn't recall ever coming across them, although he did have an open association with the Aogiri Tree, he had never been involved with the V organization.
Of course, Kenzo was unaware of this, which is why he personally conducted the interrogation. When he heard the response, his gaze turned even colder, and he thought to himself, "So the V organization's goal has always been to kill Rize?"
It would make very little sense, but so far, there haven't been more Ghouls in the 20th Ward who are part of external organizations. In that respect, perhaps he had been mistaken in what he had thought so far.
"I understand, then. Are you only conducting these insane experiments based on your own vision?" Kenzo asked once more, relieved that he didn't have to resort to any kind of violence to get the answers he wanted.
Doctor Kanou, with his cold and ruthless gaze, shifted in the metal chair and maintained a calm expression. As he looked at Kenzo with a subtle smile on his face, he began to explain his misanthropic impulses and perspective.
"Crow Master? That's what they call you, right? Have you ever wondered what truly drives humanity? Have you contemplated their place in the scheme of the universe?"
Intrigued by the question, Kenzo nodded cautiously while furrowing his brow.
"In my relentless pursuit of knowledge and power, I have come to see humanity as an inferior species. I consider them weak, condemned to an ephemeral existence and without potential, unlike Ghouls who truly have significance for the future."
Kenzo raised an eyebrow, starting to understand Doctor Kanou's nihilistic perspective. This old man definitely knows something; he wouldn't be so confident if not for that. But if he doesn't have the backing of the V organization, then who gives him that confidence?
"My hybrid experiments, the creation of beings that are a mix of humans and Ghouls, are nothing more than a means to achieve my goals and satisfy my ambitions. I see these beings as mere stepping stones on the path to my greatness."
Viper and the others frowned, perplexed by the lack of empathy and compassion in the doctor's words, but they continued to listen attentively.
"Humanity is trapped by its own limitations and weaknesses. Their emotions and morality are their shackles, preventing them from reaching their full potential. Ghouls, on the other hand, represent an evolution, a response to human stagnation."
Doctor Kanou seemed completely convinced of his beliefs, showing no hint of doubt.
"Crow Master, understand that I feel no remorse for my actions. I am willing to sacrifice humanity for the sake of my vision. Ghouls are the future, the next stage of evolution. I see them as a superior species, one that is destined to replace humanity as we know it."
"Hahahaha!" Midway through Doctor Kanou's absurd speech, Kenzo began to mock him sadistically, laughing at these words from his inferior perspective.
"Crow Master..." Viper was puzzled by Kenzo's sudden actions, so he gave him a questioning look as if seeking some kind of explanation for his sudden laughter.
"At the end of the day, you're just like the average Ghouls. You underestimate humans so much that it's no surprise you can be defeated even without my presence. What I always tell my crows is to be cautious of humans. I train them to eliminate CCG humans, as we consider them the greatest enemy of Ghouls among organizations of our size. But very few understand this."
Kenzo stated as he placed his hands behind his back and pointed, "You are correct to say that humans are an inferior species compared to Ghouls, which in essence makes us a superior race derived from humans. However, it would be incorrect to say that we are superior, my friend. Most Ghouls in other districts are wretched misfits who don't know how to live civilized lives."
Kenzo's tone was cold, his gaze beneath the mask devoid of emotion and remained intact.
"What is your point?" Doctor Kanou asked hesitantly.
"I won't allow anyone to disrupt the world's balance with foolish experiments. Now, I'll give you two options. In the first, you become a part of the crows, live, and potentially fulfill part of your wish. In the second, regrettably, you die. Game over," Kenzo raised his hand, and a slow stream of blood began to spill around his body.
"I already have a deal with the Aogiri Tree," Doctor Kanou, who seemed to be consumed, said these words with extreme difficulty, as if pressure were bearing down on him.
"What did you say?" Kenzo asked in a cold tone.
"I have an agreement with the Aogiri Tree. If you're a Ghoul, you must have heard of this powerful organization. Your damn crows are no match for them. If they find out you did this, they will kill you."
"Just because we don't bite doesn't mean we're weak, you old fool. You don't come to me and act all cocky." Kenzo removed his gloves and slowly pressed Kanou's head.

The increasingly agonizing scream made everyone slightly nervous. Witnessing the Crow Master act in this way was always very unsettling. The aura Kenzo unconsciously exuded terrified them all.
