Crimson Moon's arrival

-Crimson Moon-

After witnessing with her own eyes how her daughter was humiliated by lesser beings beneath her and didn't fight back, Crimson Moon kicked her out from the Millennium Castle of Brunestud for disgracing her name.

She knew the true reason why Altrouge didn't want to fight back; she was too clingy to the name of Brunestud.

So, when her fellow clansmen ridiculed her, she wouldn't fight back because of her obsession toward Brunestud.

Now, she saw how her daughter switched that obsession easily to the woman named Nero Claudius, she didn't know what to say.

Crimson Moon has never seen such an insane woman in her life like how Nero did. In the first sight, she would look like a graceful woman; in the next moment, she would burst out with brutality that had never been seen before.

Looking at two fools clumsily dancing on stage, Crimson Moon felt she needed to wash her eyes clean.

Nero's brutality was nothing to be scoffed at; like any other patron in the tavern, she saw this woman ruthlessly cut off those two fools' manhood and force them to dance because they had sexually harassed her.

It was not something you usually see every day, that's for sure.

But that ain't all there is to Nero.

However, in her investigation of Nero Claudius this week, she saw another side of her.

She saw how this woman pretended to be a commoner and dressed up in the hood of her and sliced the throats of many criminals in the night like some kind of vigilante that was not very befitting her status as Emperor of Rome.

Because of it too, there were many infamous rumors about a nameless figure with a hood becoming the nightmare of criminals in Suburbia.

Many people used a hood and pretended to be that nameless figure for the sake of their safety from thieves, robbers, and rapists.

Yeah, they imitated this chick so hard for their own protection, and many criminals bought it; they were too afraid to become the next victim of that nameless figure, and because of it, the Suburbia crime rate drastically reduced.

They didn't know who she or he was, but Crimson Moon knew it was nothing more than Nero Claudius; she was that nameless infamous figure on the outskirts of Rome, Emperor of Rome in the day and crusader of justice at night.

It can be said because of her daughter's affairs that she followed this woman day and night and began to show herself in front of her after knowing her details through her investigation.

At first, she wanted to see what kind of woman had abducted her daughter and made her heel over for her; now, she knew that this woman was not seeking advantage for her daughter or expecting anything from her.

No, this woman was another level of insanity; she wanted her daughter to become a mirror image of herself and mimic her personality.

However, she admitted this woman managed to attract her attention; her daughter probably didn't like the result, but she would get over it.

She saw Nero Claudius noticed her stare, and she was not backing down from it.

"Well, beautiful lady, why did you stare at me like that? You know, I will be shy too if being stared at too much by a beautiful woman," Nero asked shyly.

Whether she was really shy, only God knows.

Saint Martha looked at Crimson Moon warily; she knew this woman's identity at a glance and readied herself to unsheathe her sword.

Unfortunately, in front of true power, what she did was basically useless.

With a single, effortless flick of Crimson Moon's finger, the entire room trembled with an unseen force. Even the strongest individuals, like Saint Martha, were no match for the sheer power unleashed. As they fell to the ground, the world seemed to bow to Crimson Moon's might.

She walked effortlessly in front of Nero Claudius and lifted her chin playfully.

"You know what? You'd make a damn fine mother for my daughter."

"Is this too fast?" Nero asked with a hint of surprise at Crimson Moon's blunt proposal.

Crimson Moon looked at Nero teasingly; other people would be afraid of this woman's vengeance or be teased by her so hard like her daughter was, but not her, she had no time to play her game.

If she wanted something, she would take it.

Crimson Moon was surprised that this woman took the initiative with her and kissed her.

With her ego bigger than life, it should be impossible for Nero to take initiative, but she did.

She put herself into her lap and kissed her passionately without hesitation; even Crimson Moon groping her body, she had no objection to it, which made her feel strange.

Crimson Moon didn't know what Nero was thinking, whether she really meant it, but her expression told that she really was into it.

Nevertheless, she was here not for philosophical questions, but to take what she wanted.

"Now, I'm yours, young lady; shall we talk peacefully now?" Nero asked calmly, as if what she did previously never happened in the first place.

She poured the ale into the empty glass in front of her and offered it to Crimson Moon gently.

Crimson Moon nodded and took the offer; after all, since this woman said she was hers, then she was willing to play nice with her, not overbearing like previously.

Even after knowing that she was being wrapped around by her finger and trapped in her game, she was still willing to indulge her power play.

She was her lover, after all.

Unless she broke the relationship between them, Crimson Moon could tolerate this level of power play.
