Chapter 51: Unhurt And Alive

~ Third Person's Point of View ~

Kingdom Alicesha was quiet as if there's nothing bad happened. And, the night was cold and frigid.

The sky was grey and gloomy. Too dark to saunter around during this time.

Princess Danaya sips and swallowed greedily the extract of ginger and mint to ease the madness.

She can't think for a plan properly because her mind and heart are looking for Zachary who's been missing.

On the other side, Belor and Shaotzie were leaning on the table. While the wardens are standing firmly and guarding them attentively.

Danaya said, "Why did you let him escaped, princess?"

Her voice seems lonely and barren.

The young princess gasped when she saw Danaya walking towards her. Her eyes were wild and frantic to know the truth.

The young princess replied with fear and terror. "Do not ask me like you don't know the entire reasons why Princess!  From the night that we saw you, I thought you are the person that can help me! But, you failed to make it without even trying!"

Danaya loses her control and slapped the young princess's face.

"How can you say all of that to me?! Remember, you still owe me for saving your life that night! Without me, the two of you are now dead!"

She pointed her finger into Shaotzie's head. Danaya is unstoppable. She will do whatever she wanted to do. Whether good or bad as long as it will ebb into her side.

Danaya was clenching her teeth as she enunciates a word. She said, "You are nothing but an aloof and useless princess of this kingdom! You are worthless, Princess Shaotzie!"

It was deep and Danaya wasn't lying.

The young princess burst into silent tears. She must be hurt and mistreat by the princess of Atlantis.

Additional of being a vulnerable young lady, Shaotzie will definitely lose her confidence and dignity.

How can be a princess like her possess such awful and unfair characteristics? How can be Princess Danaya be so bitter and vicious? She has said too much without knowing that someone is hurting.

Belor who's sitting and leaning next to her replied, "You are such a cold-blooded princess!" The old man put emphasis on each word for her to realize what she's doing to Shaotzie.

However, Shaotzie tried to keep him silent but Belor wouldn't stop from speaking.

Until Danaya pulled the old man's scyrte furiously. She said, "Stay there and keep your mouth quiet or I will cut your tongue, old man! I am not talking to you and I've never asked your opinion! Do you understand?!"

Belor was being pushed by her that made him stumbled and fall into the ground. He was three meters away from the princess and so he cannot defend and protect Shaotzie from Danaya.

"You will end up with a miserable life, Princess Danaya! I swear that you will never be happy until your last breath!" Belor cursed Danaya as if she truly believes in it.

Princess of Atlantis burst into a burst of loud laughter upon hearing it from the old man. She said, "Cursed me now, I'll kill you tomorrow!" 

She was laughing and walking back and forth while Shaotzie and Belor are looking at each other.

Danaya stopped of doing so in front of the young princess.

Her eyes were cold but her breath smells ginger and mint. It was calming and refreshing yet Shaotzie found it grossing and nauseous.

She hated so much the smell of ginger since she was still young, most especially its taste. Shaotzie faced into her left side when Danaya leaned closer to her.

She could barely hear her heartbeat and breath in Danaya's whiff. Danaya said, "I will make it sure that you will suffer for letting him escaped. You will pay for your mistakes, Shaotzie! You will be killed and so your elder sister; Alice."

"DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME AND MOST ESPECIALLY, ALICE! YOU DON'T KNOW WHO AND WHAT SHE'S CAPABLE OF!"

Shaotzie's voice echoed around the place. It was full of truth and tangibility, full of courage and confidence.

She must be glorious by having Alice as her sister.

Danaya was about to slap her again when they hear loud footsteps. "They are back!" Danaya exclaimed.

As what expected, Captain together with other warriors came closer to the princess. They are all standing firmly and in the same manner as they faced Danaya.

The Captain said, "Forgive me, your majesty! We have tried to find him anywhere but we did not see Zachary around! He must ride quickly and hid to the safest place."

Belor secretly crawled back to Shaotzie. Both of them was eavesdropping and the young princess felt so happy.

Finally, their agenda was done successfully without Danaya's awareness.   

Danaya covered her face with her hands as she turned around and look down. She was striving not to kill all of them by doing nothing but sleeping like a king!

"Ahhhh! All of you are worthless! Despicable warriors and a sleeping Captain!" Danaya screamed, supposing that Zachary was nowhere to be found especially tonight.

Danaya was extremely eager to get at Zachary but she's weary and drained. She then lifted up her head and stare at them, one by one.

However, as Princess Danaya struggles to locate Zachary. The swordsman was still lurking at the Prince's compartment.

It would be hazardous if he will continue to look for a place to stay with during at night. He said, "Woah! I thought they will uncover me! Such fool warriors!"

Zachary breathe in as he tried to eavesdrop what's happening with Shaotzie.

"None of you fulfilled your duties! It was a simple order yet you flunked to accomplish it! How irresponsible and untrustworthy!" Danaya said.

Belor holds the princess's cold hands. He was trembling of fear too but he tried to console and to comfort Shaotzie.

He whispered, "Who is Zachary, your majesty? Why does Danaya act like he was her Prince?"

The young woman giggles discreetly and replied, "I've been observing that Princess Danaya have a special feeling towards him, Zachary the swordsman and the right hand of the Prince, Danaya's half brother.

Danaya took off her cloak before speaking. She throws it and said, "Before the sunrise, continue with your mission! You must come back with him before the sunset! Do not stop until you bring him up in here, again!"

"Do not try to hurt and or kill him! I want him back, unhurt and still alive!" Danaya added.

The Captain replied with full of confidence and conviction, "Aye, your majesty!"
