157 Ethan's Departure Time has Ended & The Old Man

Those were the kinds of questions he asked himself repeatedly, finding almost no answer for any of them. And alas, more questions just kept piling up, but he needed more time or energy to seek the answers he was looking for.

He needed to return to the Vale, as he had been gone long enough. His kingdom needed him, whether to protect or rule his people.

Ethan looked at Ragnar, "There is nothing we can do about that. For now, we can only hope to find an answer later. Make preparations to return to the Vale. I want to leave in at most two weeks." 

"Yes," Ragnar nodded, and with a quick movement, he spoke to the surrounding guardians. The group nodded, and they, too, quickly dispersed, moving in all directions.

Ethan left the city and headed for a mountain in the distance. Its icy peak stood tall amongst the clouds; the pure white snow gave it an ethereal beauty.
