[WHIRLWIND SWORD STRIKE]

The bandits and warriors attacked us with so much hatred. Like we are the ones who exterminated their nine generations of people. I, for the first time felt how much people hated devil-kind in this world. But I am not giving up now that I have got this second chance. I know I say this a lot and maybe I am going to say this a lot of time in the future too but you know this is my second life, not a lot of people get this kind of chance. So, I will stand up against anyone who wants to get in my way or harm my loved ones.

I raised my sword in the air and charged at them. It looked quite dumb that I, an alone man charged against a horde of people. But in order to make my next attack successful, I need to charge right in the middle of them. So, I fearlessly rushed at them with my eyes burning with lust for their blood.

Within a few seconds I reached in the middle of their formation. They surrounded me from all side now. Two of the bandits slashed their sword at me but I parried them. From my back, another bandit decided to sneak attack me. I pushed back the two bandits in front of me and dodged the sneak attack from my back barely.

I was panting as I was out of breath and taking deep breath to catch my breathes. I looked around and assessed the position of each of my attacker surrounding me. 'Good, everyone is within range.', Arthur thought wickedly in his head.

The bandits and warriors saw Arthur stop in their middle all of a sudden. They suddenly had an ominous feeling about this situation. But they didn't take it seriously. To them, Arthur is alone and with them joining force's, he is even more dead. So, they dispersed the bad feeling in their heart as worthless fear and started closing in on him from every direction.

Then Arthur took a deep breath and yelled out loudly and brandished his sword in a curve around him.

He created a lot of sword strikes in the air around him quickly which created a whirlwind of sword slashes. This strike consumed a lot of his stamina and he could barely stand up. But his attacker was in an even more ugly state than him. All of his attackers were injured heavily. Some lost their eyes, some lost their one or both limbs, some lost their nose. The least injury they got was bleeding wounds otherwise everyone was suffering from horrible injuries.

The attacker's laid down the ground with broken limbs, screaming in pain and their broken limbs were spread throughout the ground. Their blood painted the green ground in blood red color. It was such a scene of blood and gore.

Arthur was very satisfied with his last attack. It looks like learning these techniques really paid off. He felt lot of heartaches whenever he had to use a large amount of L.P points but now he's glad that he used them to learn these techniques. otherwise, he was really going to hit the bucket here.

Everyone watched Arthur in awe and fear. They never thought a low-tier warrior could defeat so many warriors of the same realm and they were more experienced in fighting than him. What made them even more surprised was the martial arts technique he used in the end. It was a very powerful area attack technique. They have never seen anything like that in their whole life.

So, they became alert of him. They didn't dare to underestimate his skill and power anymore. He was a genuine threat to their life now.

Now, all the low-tier fighter from both groups were unable to fight. The only ones who can keep fighting are the three mid-tier and two peak-tier warriors. But among them both of the mage is not in a perfect state to fight. One of them is the elven mage who almost ran out of mana fighting the bandits and the other one is the bandit mage whom Arthur injured severely before.

Currently, Arthur has two ways to fight. One, he replenishes his spent stamina by drinking a [STAMINA REGENERATION] potion and fight the remaining enemies. Two, he freezes time and runs from here with Lena. But there's a problem with second option. The problem of exposure. If they ran from here, these guy's will definitely report us as devil spawn's infiltrator to the authority here. Although I am not a popular face in the city but when the search for devil spawns begins, it'll definitely reach my house and both I and Lena will be caught. Although I am sure I will be saved somehow, the same cannot be said for Lena, the actual devil-kind. I am hundred percent sure that they will execute her in front of whole public.

So, I worked my brain fast to think of an alternative way to break away from this situation without leaving any witness of Lena being a devil. I can't lose my adorable mature devil.

My time was running out and the remaining able fighters were coming to fight me. I had no choice to fight and kill this guy's here and now so that Lena's secret doesn't spread outside. 'I guess I have no choice but to fight these ungrateful bastards till my last breath. why did I even worry myself with these guy's matter? now who will save us from this shit-hole? I am so angry with my dumb self-righteousness.', Arthur thought to himself in frustration.

Just when Arthur thought he has to fight a bitter fight, the carriage door opened and a person came out of it slowly. Arthur almost forgot about the existence of this carriage with all this happening so quickly. This fight and this whole situation is centred around this carriage. So, he was really curious to see what kind of VIP stepped out of it. After all, if they didn't step in to help them, their current situation would have been much better.
