The unknown myth

Chukwu walked up to anyawu and pulled him up from the floor where he sat with shock written in bold letters across his face. 

I also have special abilities, chukwu said. My father told me that my mom died while giving birth to me. He was an oracle for the god known as chukwu. My father had refused to give up the idea of traditional worshiping, especially for the god known as chukwu, even though religion in itself had become almost extinct. He said I am the reincarnation of chukwu, the god of gods. I initially thought he was just delusional, clinging to some lost tradition but I now believe his words since you are probably the reincarnation of anyawu, the sun god.

You see, chukwu said after a brief pause. Anyawu and chukwu were both close friends, they fought to protect the heavens together during the heavenly war. funny enough, chukwu died. The heavens was still destroyed, their mission failed. My father told me that Chukwu's inability to protect the heavenly realm left him with a big regret, something he really wished to correct, it was this will to protect life that made him to always be reborn whenever the universe needed him. The heavens and the earth worked independently and they were both created by one being, the being was unknown. 

Anyawu found the story very strange. This is a real life story? 

Chukwu seemed to be thinking about something. No, it's not, my father wasn't sure of that, he said that the story was lost so no one could tell if it ever happened or if it was just a myth. But one is sure, whatever this story is, and since the characters have the same name with us, it certainly has something to do with us.

So I guess it's my destiny to attempt saving the world, I can't fight it. 

Anyawu kept quiet for a while before replying Chukwu's statement. If that's truest your destiny, to die without saving anyone or even yourself, then we would change that. A new story would be told, chukwu and anyawu would be friends, great friends who saved the world and lived a long happy life. A big statue will be built in their names, they will be living legends who will save the earth from andromeda. Anyawu had made up his mind there and then to protect chukwu by all means. 

There was o lot six months before the collision of the two large galaxies. People were doing there last, everyone was crying deep inside their hearts, no one wanted to die. Billions of years ago, when the collision of the two galaxies was first predicted, another prediction was made alongside it. It was predicted stopping the collision would be impossible no matter how much technology had advanced. The first prediction was correct, let's watch and see how the second prediction plays out.

After chukwu and anyawu returned home to their plaza, they both moved to anyawu's apartment where anyawu had already sewn up plans on the possible methods to stop the collision.

The operation against andromeda is starting in two weeks, we would leave for space ahead of them so we can try to stop the collision and the united nation's tech lodge wouldn't have to carry out their sinister plan.

I already have oxygens and backpacks just in case, but I know that since we're not ordinary humans we can survive in space without them. Our only problem would be the cold, but given my powers we wouldn't have to deal with that. I suppose you have my abilities too since you are the god of gods. You should possess the abilities of all gods to ever exist. But since we are technically both gods, we should be able to survive the cold without taking any extra measure, after all, I don't k ow of any god that would die from a cold.

Chukwu listened quietly without saying anything. He had nothing to say actually, anyawu had made his point and it made a lot of sense. But he only had one concern and he voiced it out immediately. I really think someone is behind this andromeda episode and this might have been going on for much longer than we can even imagine. My main problem is how to locate this entity behind the scenes. 

Don't worry, anyawu said logically. Once we start the quest to stop andromeda, whoever is behind this will have to show himself automatically. He will try to stop us else, his entire plan will be for naught. 

Chukwu shrugged off his concerns. that made sense.

United nation's tech lodge 

United Nations had the largest and most powerful force. It also had the most advanced technologies in their base, all the nations had come together to form an organization that handled technological research and findings that would help to resolve the andromeda crisis. The united nation's tech lodge was created billions of years ago. It was the most powerful force to be reckoned with on the face of earth, it consisted of every civilization on earth and its army was also made of part of every civilization's army. In this case, no one could spring up any day and say he wanted to take over the world.
