This fanfic is more fullfiling in terms of backstory and political movement of wizarding world to me. Not boring at all btw, no heavy strategic plan of big talk but just simple rational backstory to fill the plothole in original novel, a little dark and a bit of bashing in the light side which make it more believable even if it shatters your ideal poster of justice in some of the original char. So a good read for me, hope author will continue and please dont drop it

Probably one of the best HP fanfics on Webnovel, the story is very interesting/unique and well-planned out, sometimes stuff happens that you might not like (for instance this story is quite dark) but when it gets explained it makes a lot of sense, especially if you actually read/watched the original series. MC is logical and ruthless, he might make mistakes in the future or do something slightly stupid, but so far he has always been clear-headed and acted with caution and intelligence. Grammar is very good with the occasional typo but it doesn't effect the story. I have no complaints about this story.

This author is amazing. I couldn't put it down. I read the updates/ new chapter as soon as I get the notification, at work even. My newest addiction.

Couldn't finish the second chapter. This feels sooooo primitive. Even among fanfiction. While this, judging by reviews, can be among the best HP fics on webnovel, doesn't mean it being good. It means that there are few to no good HP fics on this site. Trust me, I've read some very good ones, and there are very good ones. But, maybe, not here. This having a score of 4.7 only tells me personally, that scores of webnovel absolutely can't be trusted.

The story isn't bad but readers should be warned that this is essentially an "alternate universe" fanfiction. The dark wizards are evil, and the light wizards are...slightly less evil, but still evil. Even McGonagall is morally bankrupt enough to try and consciously swindle money from an 11-year old orphan, and attempt to turn him into a glorified slave. The characters are just too different from the way they were portrayed in the source material. It goes beyond "bashing" characters, as more than 90% of the characters' evil deeds are things the author just made up. With the whole "might makes right" theme this just feels like generic Wuxia #586, not Harry Potter.

It's a great story with interesting themes. The only problem I have with it is smaller details are glossed over. Many sections seem more like a summary than an actual story.

As great as the book is the update speed compared to before in the earlier chapters is irritating so I am just going to remove it from my reading list and check up on it occasionally.

best novel and it makes sense the only thing that I would like be to know if it's dropped or not or a new author who could try to continue on this one

i loved it and the only thing that lowered the points for me was the stability of updating. But otherwise it was great even tho i’m not actually some critique
