CHAPTER 25 MEETING

Garen expected that. From just that conversation, he was sure the you boss is a vengeful person, so he will naturally not let him go if he had the chance. Not that he really cared, as soon as he arrive at whiteriver city, he will have no business with the bandits anymore.

For now, nothing is more important to him than arriving at whiteriver city in one piece. His master younger brother would surely protect him, and there he will learn more powerful sorcery.

Garen shrunk backward. He had heard all he wish to hear and nothing more to hear. Tiptoeing gently, garen made sure the sound of his foot step were unheard as he retreated back to the camp.

*******************************

Three days went by as the atmosphere of the camp became increasingly suffocating. Garen could feel the pressure mounting in between the two group. With the help up thought transfer, garen released a strong suspicious emotion, and slight influenced turin and make him unguard against the young boss.

Unknown to the young boss, while turin acted according to how he expected in his plan, turin was already on guard and effectively moving his followers to guard against any unexpected attack.

Finally the day arrived. The bandits set up camp at night as they were five hours away from the city, and the city gate would have been closed before reaching the city, so they had no choice.

The plan went accordingly, and turin prepared to visit the so called "turncoats" though, unknown to everyone else, turin transferred his followers by team to the site of the meeting and they surrounded the whole place. It would be his chance to turn everything around if it was a trap set by barnuld.

Though garen was sure that turin couldn't possibly win even if he set up a trap. After all they both set up a trap for each other, but the turning point is that, the young boss has another martial warrior with him yet turin was unaware.

He thought Carsu (the bandit with the young boss) would never join any group, and he will always be neutral unfortunately, he had made a big mistake garen thought.

The reason why he influenced turin a bit was to increase the scale if conflict and the amount of People who will die. He will be able to get more soul and also reduce the bandit young boss strength. He won't place his live in olauf's hand. Who knows, Barnuld might just turn berserk and try to kill him. Every reduction in Barnuld power is an up for his safety.

As turin and his most trusted followers moved towards the meeting sir. Garen watched on with a smile, he seem to ready to watch a good show. Olauf looked at the young boy looking puzzled. The atmosphere in the camp was heavy, and he knew that something was about to happen, but the young boy seem sure that a good sure is coming up.

Though he couldn't understand, olauf watched on.

************************

Garen stood at around 1000 meters away from the meeting site. He opened the eye of soul, and his sight licked onto turin, giving him a clear view of what's going inside.

Turin walked quickly and quickly entered the small tent. Of the three bandits who followed him, the more muscular one followed him into the tent, while the two others stood outside and surveyed the surrounding.

Inside the tent, five bandit from the young boss group were sitted. At the forefront, was the middle age man who attacked him before that set out. His name seem to be dusouf or something like that.

Dusouf hands were placed on the table, and the other four bandit sat around him. They seem to be his underling.

Turin looked slightly shocked at the person he his meeting. The paper that was passed to him only mentioned about some turncoats wanting to meet him and so did the messenger from the traitors said, but nothing was mentioned about how many they were, nor who their leader was.

From what he knows about dusouf, dusouf appears to be a loyal man. He always seem to care about his teammates and as a charisma that makes others want to follow him. Where he came from had always been a mystery, but turin assumed he must be a former Butler for some rich man or a small time noble, after all the bastard sometimes involuntary show signs of once living with or among aristocrats. Too bad he was weak. If he had been a martial warrior, surely he wouldn't end up as a mere bandit.

Dusouf could see the suprise written all over turin's face. "Idiot you are only some step away from death." he thought within himself, but outwardly he let out a warm smile and invited Turin to take a sit.

As turin sat down, dusouf let out a small chuckle and tapped his short fingers on the table. "you must be surprised?" he asked. Seemingly sure that turin would be surprised at seeing him here.

"yes. I am truly surprised." Turin answered truthfully there is no reason for him to lie after all.

The smile on dusouf face became bigger and it was as if he wish to split open his own face with his smile. Must be pleased at taking the initiative. "am sure you didn't see me as a traitor right? You assume I am someone who stays loyal to the end?" he asked even more question, trying to push Turin to the direction he wants.

"yes, you are right." turin acknowledge again. There was no other word for him to say, and he had a feeling as if he's was playing in the palms of the man sitting opposite him, but he shrugged it off.

'Yes you guessed correctly. That his me. I am a man who stays loyal." dusouf seem to enjoy at the puzzle all over the man's face.

He continued "I am surely a loyal man and would stay loyal to all does who treat me right. You must be wandering while, though I say am loyal I still wish to betray my master?" dusouf asked and Turin nodded in affirmation. "sure I will satisfy your curiosity." but know, dusouf smile turned into an angry scowl, and he shouted at the too of his lungs. "THAT LITTKE BASTARD HUMILIATED ME. HE THREW ALL MY FACE AWAY, YET THAT BASTARD, THAT FUCKING BASTARD BARNULD DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. ISN'T TGAT ENOUGH FOR ME TO BETRAY HIM."
