Evilyn kneeled and said.

"Take the remaining forces and defend the base. The monsters are lurking around the base."

After Killian awaken from the chrysalis, the huge mountains between the holy kingdom of Sanmiya and dark forest collapsed due to the intense earthquake.

The monsters living in the mountains came out and wandered around. Their homes were destroyed and many monsters died or injured.

The surviving monsters ran towards nearby kingdoms and attacked them. Battles erupt everywhere. The monsters are also entering the chaos territory.

These monsters are stronger than the monsters in the dark forest since they lived in the harsher environment.

"Yes, your majesty."

Evilyn bowed and left with the remaining army to defend.

Killian didn't afraid the enemies to come to directly attack him. With him here, he was confident that nothing can defeat him in the whole continent.

Of cause Veras was also here. However Killian doesn't believe in him since he tried to run away in the holy war. Killian planned to punish Veras later.

He ordered the workers to continue rebuilding the base. His palace also need to be rebuilt. He can't leave the throne in the open. Also a king without a palace sounds really terrible.

After arranging everything Killian looked at the system to upgrade the civilization. Its been a long time since he last upgrade his civilization.

The upgrade cost of level-7 civilization is very expensive. Now that he had enough resources, he can finally upgrade the civilization.

Sacrificial Ritual- sacrifice yourself to replenish the target's HP and Mana.

Requirements- 10,000 Chaos Essences + 3 days

Lich can only be summoned from the Temple of Death.

Powerful undead spellcaster that masters death energies. Liches contain their souls in the safe aera. Unless their soul is not destroyed, they cannot be killed.

Undead Army Summoning- summon an army of undeads to fight for you.

Mental Attack- Liches can attack the minds of the enemies and cause various negative effects such as fear, shock, panic and confusion.

Frost Magic- Liches can utilize all kinds of basic and advanced frost related magic.

Frost Aura- Slow the attack speed and movement speed of the enemies by 10%.

You have unlocked Arch Demon (Unit).

Requirements- 15,000 Chaos Essences + 5 days

Arch Demons can only be summon from the Demon Gate.

High ranking demons that can use a wide range of skills. The arch demons are masters of magic.

Magic Mastery- An arch demon can use all kinds of basic magic spells and advanced magic spells.

Demonic Spawn- Summons demonic creatures from hell to fight alongside you.

Demonic Aura- when near the arch demon, all demonic units deals 10% extra damage.

Noble Blood- Gain 10% HP regeneration and 5% HP regeneration to nearby demons.

Demon Heart- Gain 30% Mana regeneration and 10% Mana regeneration to nearby demons.

"Arch demon is very expensive. But it was worth the price. They have many skills and they were basically walking buff providers to demonic units.

However the buffs didn't stack even if there were two arch demons together. So there is no point in summoning too many of them. One arch demon is enough to buff an army of demonic units.

It would be amazing if the arch demon can buff undeads and chaos units. However I guess it would be too broken. Nonetheless the effects are still good."
