Chapter 12 Big Fish

"Why don't we find anything?"

Prince Lucas said angrily.

"If my brother solves this. I will lose more face and father will never think of me as a capable son."

Prince Lucas has sent all of his forces for investigation and still found nothing.

"What about my brother. Did he find anything?"

Prince Lucas asked to his guardian knight.

"We heard nothing from his Highness Lukia. We think he also having a hard time."

Prince Lucas's guardian knight, William replied.

William is a guardian knight that in charge of protecting prince Lucas like Edward.

"Have a close watch on my brother. If there is a sign that he found something, report back to me."

"Yes, your majesty."

At that time,

Prince Lukia was listening to Edward's report about Killian.

"He only back and forth to brothel and the inn. There is not a single specious thing about him."

'I already look into the other suspects. But my instincts are telling me he is the one. His tracks are too perfect."

Prince Lucas is having a headache.

Killian was having a meal at the inn.

Two people came into the inn. They look like middle aged man and a young man. They look like travelers from afar.

The young man glance at Killian and turn his head back to the inn owner. Then they follow the owner leading to their rooms.

"Finally, the big fish has come. I've waited long enough."

Killian sneers.

Killian knows they are Lukia and his attendant. He was patiently waiting for them.

"All the nobles that came to the brothel are replaced. However I need high ranking ones. But the fish is bigger than I thought."

At night Killian heard someone knock his door.

It was Lukia, he's not with his guardian. But Killian knows he was hiding nearby.

"I saw you when we came here and you looks like a traveler just like us. My name is Jack. Can we drink together for tonight?"

Lukia smiles and said.

"Of cause come in. My name is Ken."

Killian smiles back at Lukia.

They have a drink together.

Killian was quietly letting out his shadows.

The shadows went to Edward who's hiding nearby. The shadow becomes a circle under him and a portal suddenly appears and he falls into the portal.

Killian was abducting people like this. But it was not perfect. If the target realize something was wrong and move from the shadow before it became a portal, they can easily avoid it.

But who would watch their shadow the whole time. Lukia was no idea his guardian was abducted. He was trying to read Killian. But he can't find anything wrong.
