6 Chapter 6: Back home

Year 40 BD 5th month

On his way back to Valyria Aegor was preparing his story on how he visited the new continent and that in 40 year time Valyria and its dragon lords would be destroyed by the Doom and that we have to move our family, banners, people, dragons and property before it all ends in smoke. So once he reach Elyria he took out the sword given to him by the god and started enchanting the sword just like in first thor movie "Let it be know that only 2 people can wield this sword I the owner in anybody or the man or woman who has proved themself worthy to lead the family anyone else who tries to wield it will never be able to lift it." And just like that a mark of a golden 3 headed dragon appeared on the blade and disappeared. He tested the blade by throwing it a few meters away and stretching out his hand to call it and the sword flew, the hilt of the blade stopped exactly in his hand. He did the same process with the ring and has received similar results. So after enchanting the sword and ring he used his illusion magic on his right arm and cast an illusion which looked like a tattoo which showed a dragon opening its mouth and out of it showed years , months, days, hours, minutes and seconds. Since he was keeping track of the time used he entered the following 39 years, 5 months, 12 hours, 45 minutes and 50 seconds which kept on decreasing which gave the appearance of a countdown timer.

Now he was finally ready to go and start talks with his family. If he noticed that they were not buying he could use his skill 'though manipulator' to make it more believable and he can just tell his father to send people to confirm my claims about the continent and it would seal the deal.

Now he flew to his family's dragon layer and once he landed he noticed people that were waiting for him. It was his parents and siblings waiting for him. Once he was off his dragon his sister and mother both came to him and embraced and "I have missed you brother" his sister said and his mother " where have you been for so long we have been worried sick". "That is right I feel the same why have you not contacted us with the glass candle". Said his father, after a minute Aegor opened his mouth and said " Father on my journey I had come across something you should know, can we talk in private." Jaelor notice the serious look in his son's eyes and agreed to it and took him to his study. Once they were in his father's study "Father during travels I received a vision from the god telling me that Valyria will be destroyed by a great calamity and all dragons and Valyrian will meet their end" said Aegor. His father was shocked and confused and was about to ask if his son was alright before he could say anything Aegor interject " I know it sounds like the ravings of a mad man but please look at my arm" as he said that he pulled his arm out and showed him the Tattoo with the timer on it. His father was blown away and could not find the words to describe it so he asked "What is this and what does it mean and how does the image on this marking change?." After his father calm down and took a seat he and said " During my trip I had stopped at Morosh to rest and was asleep in my room them suddenly in the middle of the night I saw a horrifying scene the whole of Valyria was burning all our people and dragons where burning the 14 flames erupting and blowing things away with a huge explosion and all of use meeting our end and them the vision stopped and being in the shape of fire appeared before me the told me that this would take place in 40 years time and all things will come to an end. He continued and told me that he wanted at least 2 families from the freehold to survive in order to keep the legacy of Valyria alive. He also showed me the location of a continent which we can use to live and thrive. He presented me with a sword and ring." after saying that he placed the sword and ring which the god had presented to him and asked his father to pick them up. Jaelor did as his son asked and was again shocked to see he was unable to lift both the sword or the ring " How am I not able to pick this up? It is very heavy.".Aegor took a few steps back and stretched out his hand and called for the ring and sword. In that instant both the sword and ring were floating in the air and immediately flew towards him. After seeing this Jaelor was speechless and was not able to speak. After a hour of just confusion and shock Jaelor again calmed himself down and asked Aegor about the continent and immediately he pulled out a map and notes detailing about the continent it geographic features, Climate area etc. After a discussion about the continent Jaelor asked his son "So how to plan to escape this calamity with our family?" Aegor looked at his father with a calm demeanor and laid out his plan to him. First His father would have sent people to confirm my claim of the continent and second he would hold a meeting with all the family members and banners and inform them about the coming doom and convince them and make the required preparations and we will report the existence of the continent and our intention to create an outpost. After that we will need to travel to the continent get the inhabitants under our control and them buy and gather supplies, slaves, Architects, construction charts of ports and stronghold and other relevant stuff to set up a port city, start trade and business. And gradually we have to increase the number Valyrian in the new continent and ensure they are loyal to us. " Also we must ensure that the practice of slavery has completely stopped and that those who come after use never practice it." Said Aegor with a serious face. "Why do you oppose it?" asked Jaelor. " Father, the reason I oppose it is because it is a practice of the Ghiscaries and it is cruel. I believe we can do far greater things without and replace it with loyal followers and people." His father agreed to his proposal and had let him continue with his plans. He also informed his father that the Targaryens would leave Valyria and settle on Dragonstone 28 years from now and 12 years before Calamity. Jaelor was skeptical but he had no reason to doubt his words after seeing the thing he just witnessed.

After that a month later a meeting with the whole family and all our banners had taken place. Many of our banners were hesitant at first but with the help of the tattoo, sword, ring and a bit of mind manipulation I was able to convince everyone working under us that we need to settle in the new continent within these 40 years before the doom takes place.

With that done now it was time to move to the next stage preparing to conquer the new continent Aegor though with an evil grin.
