Intervene

Ripper smirked as he worked with his crew, all of the trees were moved and were all being prepped to be used for the wall. He was confident about this idea of Malice's, sure it was cruel and rather heartless but sacrifices must be made. Sometimes.

To lead this place was the starting point for them and their future. Ripper looked at Malice who seemed rather calm as she worked, and it was quite clear that she was a good actor. No one suspected a thing from her, and he was certain that he was the only one that knew about what she was going to do.

"Good work guys.", spoke Ripper as he looked at his crew. His sharp eyes shifted toward the rex with the trike skull upon his cranium. He watched him talk with others who he knew from the looks of it.

That rex made a mistake, and he was going to suffer the hard way.

Juggernaut looked at Ripper as he spoke, "We working tomorrow?"

Ripper looked at him as he nodded, "Yes."

Juggernaut nodded in response as he walked away, Razer followed him as he walked. Thrash and Fiend both stopped as well as they talked to each other. Scarecrow walked up however beside Ripper as he said, "Have you seen, Wraith?"

Ripper shook his head as he looked at him. "Can't say I have?"

Scarecrow nodded as he walked away without a word, and Ripper watched him go silently.

Now that he thought about it, Wraith has been away for sometime. She usually was back by now, so where was she. Ripper looked down as he frowned, it would seem that he would need to talk with her. Let her know that he was the one in charge, course when he thought about it he heard Malice talking to someone else that night. Ripper didn't see anyone besides Malice that night, and he wondered. Was Wraith talking to Malice, and if so what were they talking about.

Ripper frowned as he walked away, he was searching for Wraith after all he needed to speak with her. As Ripper walked off to find Wraith, it would seem that Wraith was already at a place.

Ahnyx was conversing with Goong who came back to get his wound looked at, he smiled at him coolly as he looked at his injury. "It seems to be fine."

"That's good.", smiled Goong who frowned sourly at Gambit who was laying there on his leaf with a smile.

"Don't go kicking any boulders.", teased the raptor who got a unkind look from Goong.

Belle looked at Gambit with a small fed up look, she loved him as a friend but he was so moody lately. "Being pouty is not going to help you heal faster!"

Gambit looked at her with a brow raised, "I ain't pouty I'm just...!"

Belle looked at him confused for he stopped talking, and now he was looking at someone. She looked over at what he was looking at and blinked in surprise. It was that raptor from before, and truth be told it was a major shock.

She walked in slowly with her eyes looking at the side.

Wraith didn't dare make eye contact with anyone, and both of her hands were on the necklace that lay around her neck.

Ahnyx looked over and blinked, "What brings you here?" He asked politely as he finished mending Goong's wound.

"I am here to see him...", replied Wraith as her eyes slowly looked toward Gambit.

Belle blinked in surprise as she looked at Gambit, much like Rain who looked over stunned having been listening in on the conversation. Rain looked down at Hawkeye who was still resting, his festering wound looked so different from how it was when they first came here. She was glad he was healing, but could they be safe here. Rain couldn't help but worry about it as she looked at Hawkeye.

Ahnyx looked at Gambit as he smiled, "What do you say?"

Gambit shook his head as he smiled some, "Come on in!" His eyes looked at Wraith with a kindness, and after he spoke did he watch her slowly walk over in a bit of a awkward way.

Belle looked at her silently before looking at Gambit who looked oddly happy, seeing that however made her smile.

Ahnyx looked at them with a smile before looking at Goong as he went to stand. "I will check on your wound next time, but they should be fully healed fairly quickly after a little while?"

Goong nodded at him with a smile, "Thank you."

As Ahnyx talked with Goong, Wraith awkwardly sat down beside Gambit. She shouldn't be here, yet she had a few things to say to this raptor who comforted her. Wraith looked at him silently, her face showed how uncomfortable she was.

Gambit looked at her with a smile, "I'm glad you look a little better."

Wraith looked at him silently, she nodded though she didn't say anything.

Gambit cautiously yet softly put his hand on her leg, as he smiled some. He took note that she flinched some to his touch. "I also forgot to tell you my name, Gambit."

Wraith nodded slowly, and feeling him touch her made her body crawl. She has never been touched by anyone, not even Sawtooth touched her. Course, that was a lie. He did touch her but he would ask for her permission before doing so. She silently sat there, as she clung to the necklace that laid around her neck.

Gambit smiled softly at her, he glanced at Belle who smiled as she softly turned around.

"I'm going to take a break!", smiled Belle.

Ahnyx looked at her and he nodded giving her a cool smile, "Okay."

Belle nodded softly with a bright smile before walking outside.

Goong walked outside and was followed by Ahnyx, this left Gambit and Wraith alone though Rain was looking at Wraith with fear in her eyes from a bit of a distance away.

Gambit looked at the necklace that was around Wraith's neck. Strangely, he recognized that necklace for it was the one that he saw that one spinosaurus wear from Crusher's clan. He blinked remembering the brute known as Sawtooth and he looked at Wraith slowly in light surprise. He should of known, seeing that Sawtooth was a good herbalist.

Did she get along with the brute, and if so did he give her the necklace.

Gambit thought about asking but blinked as Wraith spoke up.

"I saw her the other day...", Wraith was looking down as she spoke. "She was doing something and keeping it a secret from everyone else..."

Gambit looked at her curiously, "Who?"

"A dilophosaurus, she had four herbs...", replied Wraith as her eyes narrowed. "She is planning something, those herbs she had were ones I remember talking about them with someone..."

"Oh those are for sleep, she couldn't sleep and...!", Gambit froze up as he was suddenly grabbed.

"You gave her those herbs!?!", hissed Wraith looking at him with a sharp look.

"Y-yes..?", replied Gambit as he looked at her startled.

Wraith glared at him, "Don't you give her anymore!"

Gambit looked at her with wide eyes, he slowly looked down before looking back up. "I won't give her anymore." His eyes became serious, only cause she looked adamant about her decision. She obviously didn't want him to do it and if that was the case he won't.

Wraith's expression eased up as she looked at him, never had anyone listened to her before. She didn't threaten him and she could tell that something was up. He didn't know her, yet he is willing to trust her. "You won't?"

Gambit looked at her as he said, "You know her?"

Wraith frowned, "I don't know her, but I know her name is Malice."

Gambit blinked in surprise, "She told me her name was Rose...?"

Wraith glared, "It's Malice, don't be fooled by her charming witchcraft."

Gambit looked down in utter shock, he closed his eyes for he was glad that he was told more about her. If he wasn't there was no telling what would of happened. However, he looked at her with concern. "Then those herbs..!"

Wraith frowned as she looked away, her eyes slowly looked at him as she said. "I will stay here with you, make sure nothing else happens."

Gambit looked at her with wide eyes, he looked away some and realizing that his hand was still on her did he slowly move his hand away. As if at the same time, Wraith noticed that she still had a hold of him and she let him go and crossed her arms as she looked away.

There was a long awkward silence between the two, until. "Wraith..."

"Huh?", spoke Gambit confused.

"My name is Wraith...", replied Wraith in a rather quiet voice.

Gambit blinked fast a few times and he smiled softly at her, his heart was pounding some what fast in his chest. "I'm glad to know you, Wraith."

Wraith blinked with her eyes slowly becoming wide, she slowly looked at him as she stared at him.

Gambit and Wraith looked at each other in silence before Gambit jumped up in pure shock. Ahnyx walked in as he frowned at Gambit he took notice of Gambit sitting up, "Shouldn't you be laying down?"

"Yeah, yeah!", growled Gambit as he moved to lay down onto his stomach.

Wraith moved softly so that he could properly lay down, once he was laying down did she ease down and sit down in front of him. Ahnyx looked at Wraith with interest, "Would you like to keep a eye on him for me?"

Gambit frowned upon hearing that but blinked as Wraith replied, "Sure."

Gambit looked at her curiously yet silently and he blinked as he took notice of her looking at him with a very intimidating face, he looked away from her feeling a little funny about this. Why did she look at him like she was going to skin him alive.

Wraith on the other hand smirked a tad, she probably has a good guess as to what Gambit is thinking about. She no doubt scared him which was a little entertaining. She closed her eyes as she shook her head silently, no she should stop that. She has a job to do and that was what she was going to focus on. Wraith had to make sure that Malice doesn't do anything.

Then again why should she, why should she care about what she does. Also, why did she tell Gambit to not give her anymore herbs. Just what was going on with her lately, it was like she couldn't think straight. Ever since she came here that night and was comforted by Gambit, she had been feeling different.

She should of never let him touch her and yet, she did feel better by what he did and say to her. Wraith opened her eyes as she looked at Gambit who was laying in front of her. She watched him silently as she thought about things.

Ahnyx looked at the two of them with interest, he smiled some. Who would of thought that Gambit would change Wraith. As he slowly looks through his herbs, he looked down at Rain who walked over to him carefully. He smiled at her kindly and she smiled some back.

"Can I help you?", asked Ahnyx.

Rain looked at him as she said, "I was wondering how much longer it will be for Hawkeye to wake up?"

Ahnyx looked at his herbs as he thought about his answer, while Rain looks at Gambit and Wraith curiously from over her shoulder.

"I'm sure it won't be to much longer, his wound looks better than it did.", replied Ahnyx as he smiled. "I will check him out in a little bit if you would like?"

Rain nodded with a smile, "Sure."

Ahnyx smiled at her as he looked at his herbs, "Just give me a bit okay?"

Rain nodded as she walked back to Hawkeye, though her eyes looked at Wraith curiously. She didn't trust her, and she knew full well that Hawkeye wouldn't either. She really didn't want to stay here, and she wanted her and Hawkeye to leave. But she couldn't help but think, would that be the right call.

As Rain sat down beside Hawkeye, a tall silhouette was approaching.
