4 Chapter 4 ( edited with system)

The next day, Charlie called us outside.

Charlie: "Hey, you two, come outside!"

Curious, we stepped outside and were greeted by the sight of an orange-colored truck. Standing beside it were our dad, Billy, and Jacob.

Bella asked, "What's this?"

Charlie smiled and explained, "This is Bella's birthday gift since you already have your bike to get around. And for your gift, you can finally get the tattoo you've been wanting."

Bella was taken aback by the surprise and reached out to touch the truck, feeling a mix of surprise and gratitude.

Bella: "Thank you, Dad."

Charlie smiled warmly at her gratitude. Billy and Jacob approached us.

Billy: "Happy birthday to both of you. This truck should run smoothly since Jacob helped rebuild its motor for you. And Tony, I have a friend at the tattoo parlor. Just mention my name, and he'll give you a good deal."

Bella and I expressed our gratitude once again.

As Jacob started to approach, I positioned myself between him and Bella. We locked eyes for a moment.

Jacob: "What's up, circle eyes?"

I smirked and retorted, "Not much, you mop head."

We both laugh and hug each other.

"Good to see you again," I replied.

Jacob grinned. "Same here. We should hang out sometime and see if you can still hold your own in a fight."

I laughed. "Bring it on anytime, anywhere."

Jacob then turned his attention to Bella.

Jacob: "Hey, Bella. Long time no see."

Bella responded with a simple "Yeah... It's been a while."

Jacob: "Here, let me show you what I did on the truck for you."

"I'll let you two go do that. I'm heading to get my tattoo done," I said.

Charlie chimed in, "Drive safe." I nodded in acknowledgment as he and Billy went to watch the game.

I rode my bike, taking in the beautiful scenery of the place.

"This place is even more stunning than the movies portrayed," I thought to myself.

I parked my bike and entered the tattoo shop, which had a prominent wolf sign. Inside, I spotted a heavily tattooed guy behind the counter.

Tattoo guy: "May I help you?"

"Yes, Billy sent me here to get my tattoo done," I replied.

Tattoo guy: "Ah, you know old Billy. Well, for your first time, I'll give you half off on your tattoo, but next time it'll be full price. Now, what kind of tattoo are you looking for?"

I showed him the design I had in mind. (Picture here)

"I would like this tattoo around my neck. Here's the money for the tattoo," I said, handing over the payment.

The tattoo guy examined the design and nodded. "Weird tattoo, but I like it."

After a couple of hours, I returned home, just as the game had ended. I headed to my room to rest and contemplate how to protect my mind from Edward's intrusions. I remembered something from Harry Potter called Occlumency, but I didn't want to completely shut off my emotions. So, I decided to create my own method that would provide protection without sacrificing my emotions. It took me six hours, but I finally finished.

"Now my mind should be difficult to penetrate. If he keeps trying, he'll get a massive headache," I thought, looking forward to the next day. A smile crept across my face as my eyes glowed in the darkness.

"It's time to go to bed and see what changes I bring by being here," I whispered to myself.

Meanwhile, at the Cullen's house, Alice was on the roof, gazing at the night sky. Edythe approached her.

Edythe: "What are you doing up here?"

Alice: "Looking at the stars and wondering what the future holds for me and my mate.

Edythe:" What are you thinking about?"

Alice: "I'm thinking about whether he will accept me for who I am and what we are. Will he be willing to give up his life to be with me forever? Just the thought of him rejecting me and leaving me behind... it hurts my heart." Alice shivered, feeling the weight of her fears.

Edythe moved closer and embraced her. "I believe he will accept you for who you are. And if he ever hurts you..." Her knuckles cracked, a hint of a menacing smile on her face. "He'll have to beg for forgiveness on his knees."

Alice laughed, grateful for her sister's protective nature, and wiped away her tears.

Alice: "You're the best sister anyone could ask for."

Edythe: "Now, I'm going back inside. Are you coming?"

Alice: "In a few minutes."

Alice looked up at the sky, a smile playing on her lips.

Alice: "I have a feeling that we will meet our mates soon, and when we do... I won't let go of you."

Suddenly, Tony woke up, feeling a strong shiver run down his spine. He looked around his room, trying to shake off the feeling.

"Hmm, must have been my imagination," he muttered to himself before settling back into bed."
