Chapter 3

there. Erick takes the hand and says. "Hello, my name is Eva." She says and smiles. She shakes Erick's hand, then turns to Rimuru and takes his hand. She also shakes Rimuru's hand and then lifts him up a little. She lifts him up with her hands under his armpits until they reach his armpits. "Ugh...what is that?" Says Rimuru confused.

Eva puts Rimuru back on the ground and says. "I'm sorry you treated me like my little brother." She bows and then says. "And what can you experience on this island? Does anything exciting happen there?" Erick shakes his head and says. "There's only one small village in that direction." Erick points toward the south. "But there's nothing in that village except a small shed and a house that's a little bigger, and that's just the mariene." Says Rimuru.

Eva just nods her head and then says. "Ok, I guess it's off to another island then, a new adventure is already waiting for me." She turns around and is about to walk back to her ship when Rimuru grabs her by the arm.

Rimuru holds her tightly, Eva turns around and asks, "What's wrong?" Rimuru looks a little sheepish. "I have a question... We just met and we don't know more than our names, but can I go on a trip with you?" Rimuru blushes a little.

Eva thinks for a moment and then says with a friendly face, "Okay, why not go together, it's much more fun."

Rimuru turns and looks at Erick and says, "I don't think I need your help anymore, but I still want to thank you, so thank you." Rimur bows.

Then he waves and walks with Eva to Eva's ship. Rimuru and Eva board the ship. Rimuru stands at the bow and Eva steers the boat back out to sea. Rimuru turns around and sees her standing on the beach waving.

Rimuru can't hear Erick anymore, but he's still yelling." Good luck on your adventure. Eva, standing at the helm of the ship, says to Rimuru. "What do you want to do?", she looks at Rimuru with wide eyes and Rimuru answers.

"To be honest, I don't know anything about this world." Eva looks a little confused. "What do you mean you don't know anything about this world?" She puts extreme emphasis on the "in this world".

"Well, I came to this world about three hours ago, and I haven't learned much yet." Now Eva looks even more confused than before. "Ok...ok so you came to this world, but how and where did you come from?" Rimuru sits down on the floor of the ship and says." Before I came to another world for the first time, I lived in Japan. But there I was stabbed, and then I was reborn as slime. And there I lived until I came to this world."

"How did you get reborn as slime?" asks Eva. "Well, look." Says Rimuru and transforms into a slime. As a slime, he hops up to Eva and says. Look, I'm a slime." Eva doesn't know what to say.

"Ok, then you are a slime." Rimuru transforms back and puts his clothes back on, which are on the floor. After Rimuru gets dressed again, he walks over to Eva and says. "What's that on our left." Eva looks to her left in the water and sees a shadow a few feet below the surface.

"We have to get out of here fast!" yells Mai, steering the boat sharply to the right. The water begins to change; a moment ago it was smooth as glass, now it is very rough.

"What's happening?" exclaims Rimuru in a slight panic, "ehmm...I don't know exactly, but it looks like there's something very big to our left."
