14 Chapter 14: Depths of Arkham

"Mr. Invisible Man, are you there?"
"Of course, I'm by your side."

The Riddler pretended to be at ease and led the way; Jude dealt with all the security guards along the way; Arkham quickly became a big world of ice and snow. Finally, the two came to a wall.
"Mr. Invisible Man, as you can see, this is the entrance to the depths of Arkham."
"It seems that this wall is weird; show it to me."
The Riddler knocked on the wall three times, and the wall immediately separated like a wave, revealing a coded lock door.
"Sure enough, there is a hidden secret; do you know the password?"
The Riddler pointed to his brain and said, "Are you insulting my IQ, Mr. Invisible Man? As long as you touch any password once, no matter how you do it, you can't escape here."
As he said, pressing a series of numbers, the door opened immediately, revealing a complete room with a large area.
"Don't be surprised; this is an elevator that goes directly to the ground, and the so-called Arkham is hidden deep in the ground."

Walking out of the elevator, the Riddler lowered his head slightly and said, "There is the laboratory in front, but I can't walk with you. I must hurry and leave here."
Jude ignored him and strode forward directly, walking through a long passage, and a fork in the road appeared in front of him.
Choosing a random path, Jude walked for a while to come to a laboratory and gently opened the door. The researchers were addicted to the experiment, and no one noticed it.
I saw all kinds of petri dishes arranged in nutrient troughs, most of which were immersed in various organisms, even people. Three researchers in protective clothing were fiddling with something on the experiment table.

The person named Pierce was about to move when a freezing ray hit him.

The man immediately stopped and raised his hands to beg for mercy: "Don't kill me; I'm just an ordinary researcher, and everything I do is to follow the orders."
"Shut up! I will ask, you answer!"
The man nodded like a chicken pecking at rice.
"Who is responsible here?"
"Dr. Hugo Strange."
Jude frowned when he heard the name. He was another Batman veteran villain.
If it is this guy, it is normal to do some human experiments. After all, he made his fortune from the original book.
As an ordinary villain without any superpowers, Hugo Strange's greatest ability is scientific research.
He is a crazy scientist, proficient in psychology, psychiatry, chemistry, anatomy, etc. If he is willing to put his talents on the right path, he is a contributor who can promote the progress of human civilization, but he was born in Gotham.
"Is Strange here?"
The other party shook his head quickly.
"Has any newcomer been sent over these days? Is one of them named Ivy?"

After walking for nearly ten minutes, the man led Jude to a door.
"This is where all the living subjects are locked in."
"Open the door and go in!"

The man laughed a few times and could only open the
door, but when he opened the door, he ran back, and Jude shot him.
Entering the door, it is a similar structure to Arkham Prison—the same glass room, which contains various people, some of whom are monsters.
The moment the door opened, many subjects had already watched it but found that there was no one, which was a little strange.
Jude saw them one by one. Fat people were weighing four to five hundred kgs, giant weirdos over two meters tall, children with bird wings on their backs, and women with mouse paw tails.
"Who are you looking for?"
When his gaze passed a man wrapped in black, a woman's voice came from the body of the man in black.
Jude looked at her in shock and said, "You can see me?"
The woman snorted, "Although they burned me, they also gave me special abilities. I have a hot sight, and in my eyes, you have nothing to hide."
"Hot sight? That's it; it seems that the invisible belt still needs to be improved."
"Tell me, who are you looking for? Maybe I can help you; I can see that you are not theirs, and I know the people here very well."
"Ivy Pepper, a red-haired girl about 20 years old, has not been sent in for a long time; it may be the last week; have you seen her?"
The woman thought for a moment and said, "Is that a green chick?"
"Green skin?"
"Sorry, that should be what she looks like after being transformed. She may have been white before, but it's better than my festering appearance."
"Where is she?"
The woman snorted to the right: "The newcomer will be locked in the innermost corner. Turn right at the first corner and turn to the third room on the left. I heard that only she survived in this batch. Luckily."
"But you'd better be careful. People who have just finished the experiment won't have a good temper."
"Thanks!"
Jude walked quickly, and through the glass, he found a green-skinned woman lying on the ground. Although her hair had changed from golden to red, her face was Ivy Pepper.
Pulling the trigger, freezing rays covered the glass wall, and the ultra-low temperature instantly reduced the speed of the electrons to a very low level. Jude kicked it out, and the special glass wall shattered immediately.
This scene immediately caused a riot among other subjects; a huge roar sounded, and no one wanted to escape from this inhuman prison.
"Shut up, all of you! Do you want to call in the guards?"
The woman in black hurriedly yelled. It seemed that she had a certain position in this prison, and the other subjects quickly obediently quieted down.
Jude breathed a sigh of relief, came to the unconscious Ivy, patted her face, and shouted, "Ivy, Ivy, wake up."
I called for a long time, but Ivy was silent.
"She was given a lot of sedatives and couldn't wake up for a while. You can let me out, and I will help you take her away." A man with a tiger's tail next door said.
Jude ignored him but returned to the black-clothed woman to talk.
Seeing him, the woman smiled and said, "I know you will come back; how about making a deal?"
