Track: XV

Two days passed and the case of Machonto seemed not to be even touched properly. Aria was walking around the room like a hungry tiger roaming inside its cage, and Chyler was observing her with unease, trying not to think how long would it take for her partner to explode.

She sighed with a bit of relief when she heard the phone calling. Looking at the screen she groaned, which caught Callaghan's attention.

"Courrier?"

"Indeed." She nodded, picking up and putting him on speaker. "Toussaint, sir. Everything all right?"

"Not really." His voice was quite somber and he seemed even more tired than last time they spoke. "We had two next victims last night. Tell me you've moved at least a bit."

"You can say that, yeah." Callaghan wasn't actually giving a shit about keeping quiet and not letting her boss know she was hearing everything. "But well, we can't really do anything now, since the drama with Machonto."
