37 The final battle - 2

Ali looked at Kevin and his eyes contained more anger and hatred than ever before. If looks could kill, Kevin would've died just then and there.

(If it was a movie, Kevin would've taken five steps back in fear after seeing the coldness in his eyes.)

Yet this wasn't a movie, but the real world. In here, after seeing Ali's angry expressions, only a smile had formed on Kevin's face.

He never liked these rich kids, who easily got everything they ever wished for. Who got whatever they needed just cause they were born better.

While he and his brother needed to rely on themselves for their survival. Especially after his father's death a couple years back. At that time, he had seen the true color of this society, of this selfish world.

Yet these rich kids, even after they lost their family, they just got better lives and more money for themselves. They don't care about love, life, and respect. And that always irked him.

All his struggles over the years had taught him that if he wanted to be something big in this world, he had to be unique first. To be his own person. He can be cold, calculative, manipulative, or just angry, or annoyed at silly things - whatever it is, be unique.

That's what he always wished to be, and that's what he became, after he got the system. Power and control - two things he lacked since his birth, were in his hands with just a click on his system menu.

And once Ali was dead, he wouldn't even need to rely on the system anymore. As his skills would be maxed out.

"Die for me." Kevin said, as he prepared to deal the final blow to Ali.

"Not before I kill you." Ali said, as he grabbed Kevin's hand while moving to the side to dodge the knife.

In the empty building, Ali stood battered and bleeding, every inch of his body a canvas of pain. Bullet wounds, knife cuts, bite marks, and the brutality of battle had transformed him into a broken warrior. His chest heaved with ragged breaths, and his vision was hazy from the blood loss, but his determination remained unwavering.

Opposite him, Kevin stood, seemingly untouched, a cruel smile curling on his lips.

"We'll see." Kevin said, and with a burst of speed he moved towards Ali again. One of his hands clenched into a fist, while the other held the long dagger, ready to cut his enemies down.

In one of the swings, Ali managed to dodge and grab Kevin's hands. He bent down and moved forward, twisting his hand in a circle, and then kicking him in the back.

Kevin's face hit the wall, as his throat spewed a little blood, but he drank it down again. He kicked his leg behind, hitting Ali in the stomach, where most of his wounds were already starting to rot and pus.

Ali spewed a mouthful of saliva in the air, feeling the sudden hit. But he still didn't let go of Kevin's hand. He knew from their last fight that Kevin was much faster than him, so he just held his hand tightly and rolled his body one more time, twisting it further.

-arghh-

Kevin struggled, as he tried to free his hand, but failed. So he pulled Ali towards him and grabbed his hair. Forcing his head down, Kevin gave a knee hit to Ali's face, and then extending his feet, a kick to his stomach again.

"Stop struggling, it's useless." Kevin said, as he finally freed his hand and massaged it a little. Deep red marks appeared over his skin where Ali held it tightly. And his shoulder was still hurting a little from the twist.

They exchanged punches and kicks, the impact of their blows reverberating through the empty space. Sweat mixed with blood as the fight raged on, and taunts filled the gaps in the symphony of violence.

"You can't kill me, Ali. You never could. You're just one of the inconveniences I have to solve to get what I want. That's all." Kevin taunted as he blocked the kick from Ali with his own feet.

Ali didn't speak, but just responded with a smirk, though pain etched into every line of his face.

Kevin just shook his head, as he sent Ali tumbling across the floor with a brutal kick. Ali's back slammed into a wooden table. Breaking it in pieces.

But Ali still wasn't ready to surrender. He lay amidst the shattered pieces, gasping for breath, when Kevin came near him with the knife ready to end their useless fight. With a swing of his hand he thrust the knife forward, but before it could hit Ali, his eyes widened when he noticed Ali suddenly turned around and stabbed him with a wooden sharpnel.

-urghh x 2

They both grunted in pain as they backed away from each other. Kevin looked down and saw a sharp wooden stick, sticking out from his stomach. This was his first big injury and it freaking hurt him a lot.

While Ali had a dagger stabbed in his back 'again'. His face was as pale as a sheet of white, his body probably spilled all the blood it could pump out already. His eyes were shutting down, and the figure of the reaper his mind imagined was getting closer and closer. He was at the point where he was sure even the zombie virus wouldn't save him. And He was gonna die first.

Yet there was a smile on his face when he thought that he finally finished his revenge. That he finally killed the guy who was responsible for every bad thing happening in his life.

Yet when he turned around to see the painful face of Kevin or laugh at his dying expression, a shocked expression appeared on his face.

Kevin lay there on the floor, as a green light appeared near his wound, stopping the blood flow and healing him slowly.

Ali even thought he was imagining things, but he wasn't. At the moment of danger of life, Kevin's system came forward to help its host even though Kevin had no more points left.

[Emergency situation detected.]

[Danger to host's life noticed. Immediate healing required.. ]

[50 system Points needed.]

[ ... ] 'silence'

[Loan issued.]

[Make sure that the healing process must not be interrupted.]

[Healing the injuries.. 15 - 14 - 13 - … ]

When Ali saw Kevin's expressions going from painful to peaceful, he nearly choked on his own blood. Not thinking about what the hell was happening, he pulled the dagger from his back in one swift motion and walked forward to cut off his head this time. And see if some green light saves him then.

Yet he only took one step forward when Aarvi, who was standing at the side all this time, came forward and stood between them.

Ali looked at her face coldly and said. "Get out of here."

Aarvi stared at him for some time, with her moist eyes and unknown expression "I can't let you kill him. Please just leave."

Ali didn't even listen or look at her as he stared at Kevin, who's injury was almost all healed. "This will be your last warning, Aarvi. Move out of my way. His death is fixed." Ali said as he pointed his dagger at her face.

"Ali, please. It was all an _ " Aarvi tried to say something, but Ali's cold voice cut her off.

"So you made your choice. Then be buried alongside him."

The words had just finished and Ali moved forward ready to kill even her since she chose to side with him now. There was no hurt in his eyes, no heartful sorrows - it was all just about the end.

He pulled his hand back and was ready to kill Aarvi, who just closed her eyes instead of looking at his indifferent face, when Kevin appeared out of nowhere and stabbed Ali with the same wooden shrapnel he was stabbed with from the back.

No stupid missing hit shit, no kidney, back or normal stab, this time something directly pierced his heart. Ali could feel it, the 'heart wrenching' pain and death enveloping him.

-urghh- A mouthful of blood spewed out from his mouth, covering Aarvi's clothes.

Ali looked below and saw the wooden stick, sticking out from his chest. He raised his hand looking for some support instinctively, as his body started to fall and lose all of its strength. But seeing Aarvi standing in front, he just gave a light snort and exerted the last of his strength just to call his hand back down.

With a loud thud that seemed to echo along with his final heartbeat, his body fell down to the ground. The sight of Aarvi with her tear stained face was the last thing he saw before he closed his eyes and let the darkness envelope him completely.

'I'm sorry' Ali said in his heart, to everyone whom he failed in his life. A life of regret and the ending of pain was finally over for him, and now maybe death would just be this still darkness.

Yet in that near death darkness, suddenly a flicker of red appeared, stopping Ali's consciousness from falling into the endless cycle of rebirth and reincarnation.

Outside his mind, in the Sky Ultima, Aarvi watched as Ali's body fell lifeless on the ground. Some tears slipped her eyes again, as she looked at Ali's body,

Yet before she could say anything or do anything, loud laughter from Kevin rang out in the empty ruins.

"He's dead." (Ahhhhahahahaha) "he's finally dead. I killed him."

Kevin's happiness was above the charts and he instantly ignored the look of anger and hatred that appeared on Aarvi's face. Not taking her feelings seriously at all. Instead he opened his system panel, hoping to get his rewards and see their effects. Yet when he did, he was surprised, as the quest was still termed incomplete.

'System, where's my reward? Don't tell me you put it on hold because of your cheap loan. Both are not the same at all.' Kevin complained, feeling this system might steal his gifts.

[The reward is not issued, cause the mission isn't over yet. It has nothing to do with the loan given to the host.]

[Ali Parker is still alive,]

Kevin read the message from the system and looked at Ali's body below.

'What a persistent fellow. Fucker is still holding on.'

Kevin said in his heart and picked the knife from the ground to chop Ali's head off, and see if he can survive that.

Yet he had just bent down when Ali's body suddenly disappeared from that place, leaving no sign of his presence behind.

[Well, let's just patch him up and start fucking up this planet.] The great villain system spoke up in Ali's mind, finally willing to show itself. [I hope it can last a little longer than the last one.]

[Or I'll just have to pay a little visit to Arcadia, and see how Devil and that older version of mine are doing there now.]

.... *** Rio's system and Ali's system r different entities. Rio's system was made first and then later Ali's system was made. So here system system, it'll go meet it's older version meaning not same system version but same older origin system. I don't know how to phrase that right, so u lot can understand lol. So I just wrote the explanation here
