87 Elevator Lift 1

Len walked into an empty classroom, hoping to find Alora there. Even after knowing who she dated, he could settle for being friends. He didn't want to get entangled with such a lethal person but he liked her.

Alora was sitting at a desk with her head layed on it. He couldn't see her face because her head was facing down. She was probably sleeping since she hadn't moved even once.

He tapped her but she made no response. He tapped her again, this time, she turned her head and mumbled. A few moments later, she sat up and stared at him.

'She looks so cute.' Len thought as she rubbed her eyes and yawned. She blinked severally then, smiled faintly.

"Did I fall asleep?" She yawned again.

"You did." He rubbed her head. "Good morning."

"I feel like I was run over by a truck." She groaned and stood up, missing a few steps.

"Watch it." He warned and caught her before she fell off the high platform.

"Thanks." She regained her balance and rubbed her eyes again. "I had a rough night."

"That's fine. Why don't we go to the staff lounge?" He suggested. "It's big, comfy, safe and cozy."

"As long as I get to sleep."

She took her purse from a drawer and followed Len out the classroom door. They walked to the end of the corridor, only to see an elevator with a sign, 'One person only.' She felt weird about the sign and turned to Len.

"Only one of us can get in." She explained.

"You can go in first." He said. "Ladies first, men last."

"Are you sure?" She was hesitant about it. "Why can't we take the stairs?"

"The lounge is on the sixteenth floor and we happen to be on the second one. Do you really want to go through that stress?" He stepped in front of the door, pressing the button. "If you are uncomfortable about it, I can go first." He offered.

"Don't worry about it."

She stepped into it and the door closed. The lift began moving but a while later, it stopped. Suddenly, the elevator's lights went off and it became pitch black.
