Blood Transfusion

It was a break period and all educational establishments had a lounge or a room for staff and teachers to rest. She must have gone there because she couldn't sleep at night and wanted to go to sleep.

She was bleeding and she could die due to loss of blood. Moreover, if she does pass out, she couldn't panic and lose more blood or die of asphyxiation.

He found the control room and gained access to the elevator's lights and camera. The blank screen came on, revealing a woman on the floor, her blonde hair covered with blood. It was definitely Alora. He used the controls to open the elevator door and ran to the ground floor. He carried her and inspected her face and head.

Her lips were pale but somehow, blood had reached her face. Her palms were cold as ice and she wasn't moving. He could search the place later but now, she needed medical care.

Picking up her phone and purse, he carried her and ran to his car but met a brown haired guy.

"I'll explain when we get to the hospital." Len said. "Give me the keys."

Austin threw the car keys at Len and he caught it, opening the door and helping Austin in. He drove to a hospital and Austin carried her to the emergency room.

"What is going on here?" A young doctor in white ran into the emergency room with nurses trailing after him. "I was informed that we have a patient who is bleeding from the head."

Austin nodded. The doctor recognized him from magazines, billboards and newspapers. Fearing that he would be killed, he check on the woman who was laying on a gurney.

She was indeed bleeding and had lost a large amount of blood over the last hour. She would be in need of a blood transfusion and fast.

"Sir, your friend is in need of blood." The doctor told Austin. "She won't last another hour and I fear she has a brain hemorrhage. She has broken her skull and in bleeding profusely."

"She's ABpositive." Len gave him Austin a weird look. "What? I happen to check one day. Doc, do I need to buy blood?"

"Yes but I will just proceed with the transfusion then later, we would discuss the price." The doctor wheeled Alora away. "You, brownie, come with me."

Len followed the doctor and Austin returned to the university.
