Chapter 5 - Saviour!

Kevin told me to decorate the whole living room, and prepare some delicious food for his guests!

I went to the kitchen in the early morning thinking about what I'm supposed to do and at the same time praying to god for some kind of miracle. He will sure fire me if I don't serve him tasty dishes tonight!

As I was standing in the kitchen, lost in my thoughts I suddenly got distracted by hearing the sound of Kevin's boot.

He was coming downstairs, and I was only able to see his legs from the kitchen. Seeing him I turned my back avoiding his face, He stood behind me and I was able to feel his presence, especially his strong perfume!

The thing is I decided to hide my face forever from him or maybe till I'm here because knowing his cruel nature if he knows my father then he will tell him about me hiding here!

"what do you need now?" I asked with curiosity,

He didn't answer rather was just trying to peak at me. I took out a frying pan and pointed it toward him while hiding my face from him!

He spoke in his deep voice "what is wrong with you, crazy maid?" I coughed or you can say pretended to cough to avoid the question. But that stubborn brat wasn't changing the question instead he kept on asking me. I got frustrated and suddenly lashed out at him " I'm fed up with your continue questioning, leave me alone or I won't do anything!" My words must have given him a few mini heart attacks.

"What kind of a maid talks like this, do you even realize that I'm your boss?" Hearing this I came to my senses and started feeling a little guilty, I should have kept my mouth shut!

To avoid the awkwardness in the kitchen, I told him to change the gas as it is not up to my taste.

"Look at this spoiled baby, where did Peter hire you from, were you working for some celebrity before?" He taunted me, but strangely I didn't find anything wrong in my words!

I started crying in front of him, tears sliding down my eyes to my cheeks.

"Why are you crying now?" He shouted, and hearing his shout,

I started crying even louder. He kept on asking me the reason, and after some time I told him "I always buy what I want, no one has ever said 'No' to me!"

He started laughing, and the laugh seemed more like a cry for help.

I couldn't understand the reason behind his situation because I just told him the truth, my dad always brought whatever I liked, I have never heard the word 'No' in my entire life!

"You're the strangest maid ever, I am not talking to you anymore, after the dinner is over tonight, I'm throwing you out of my house for good!" Having said that, he left and I finally turned my face and again saw his boots going upstairs!

After he left, I started looking for recipes on T.V, and then tried my best to cook them!

some of them were successful, and some were big failures. I placed the successful ones in a beautiful tray and started decorating the living room as his majesty told!

It was already evening, I was done with the preparations though I did my best. Guests started arriving, all wearing classy suits as if they were here to show off their wealth. I was in the kitchen hiding my face with the same handkerchief that I found in my servant lady's uniform, only my eyes were visible to everyone!

Looking at all of them drinking, laughing, and talking, I was experiencing the party for the first time, and suddenly my eyes shifted to Kevin. He was coming down the stairs wearing a black suit, looking gorgeous and sexy. Every feature of his face was made with perfection, and the best part was his blue sexy eyes!

The suit was looking so good on him that any girl could easily fall for him!

Seeing him like that my mouth was awestruck. Seeing his face for the first time I questioned myself"Is that the same guy I hate interacting with?"

He came straight to the kitchen, instead of meeting his guests.

I was standing so close to him that his ravishing perfume was going straight to my nose!

"Why do you always hide your face?" He asked with curiosity and confusion.

I avoided mature reasoning with him, and said "I'm too beautiful and I don't want you to fall for me!"

He seemed shocked, more like he didn't expect this reply from me, so he told me to enjoy my last day here, and left to greet his guests.

Before leaving, he showed me a guest, the son of a big businessman, and Kevin's key to a very big deal. Impressing him was the main concern tonight.

He ordered me to serve him the best, and not to disappoint him at any cost!

Soon the party was over, and everyone left except that important party guest.

I started cleaning the kitchen, when suddenly I felt a male presence behind my back, as I turned my back, it was that important guest!

He asked me for extra dessert, but unfortunately, there wasn't any!

I apologized to him, but he got furious, and started yelling at me just for the dessert!

My feets started trembling, and it got worse when he started throwing fits over my face, He kept on asking me to remove the handkerchief from my face, but I wasn't listening to him, and this further made him angrier, he lifted his right hand, maybe to hit me!

As he was about to touch my cheeks, suddenly someone held his hand, and pushed him slightly to the back!

I was saved, I turned my face to see my savior, and it was 'Kevin!'
