1 Chapter 1 - Runaway Bride!

You must have heard of beautiful fairy tales where a handsome prince rescues the princess from an evil witch and in the end, they live happily ever after. But these fairy tales are unrealistic and no prince comes to rescue in real life!

My life too is like a princess or you can say a 'caged princess' who lives in a big mansion surrounded by hundreds of servants and bodyguards. And the jailor of this cage is my father 'Josh Campbell' Since the day I was born, he treated me like his treasure, and to protect me from the outside world he created this big mansion with huge gates! Whatever I want I always get, servants are at my service 24/7. I have never done anything on my own, from changing clothes to eating, all are done by my servant ladies. I don't have any friends, my entire life was homeschooled, I only hang out with my servant ladies, and that's it!

The world of the outside is unknown to me!

My mother left my Dad because of me, I was a child born before their marriage, and to save her reputation as a model, she abandoned me. And that's why I don't remember her much, neither did we have any portrait of her nor did anyone mention her since I was born. After mom, Dad was all alone maybe that is why he is so possessive of me, thinking of me as his only family, and the last gift to him from god!

He named me Sara, but always calls me "princess"

My life is not ordinary!

I love shopping, doing makeup, and dressing up. My life has no worries, and no tension just, sitting in my room admiring myself in the mirror is all I do in this entire mansion. But everything suddenly turned upside down when Dad decided to marry me off to his business partner's son. I have always believed in love, and no matter what I'm not going to do an arranged marriage, that's a vow I made to myself!

I tried hard to convince my Dad and told him that I'm not ready, but he avoided me like he avoids our servants. I never wanted to hurt my Dad, but he left me no choice, so I decided to run away!

It was my wedding day, and my dad seemed very happy, he wanted to marry me off to his business partner's son for only one reason, and that is to keep a close eye on me, but he didn't consider my feelings, he was just forcing me to accept the most unexpected thing!

When everyone was busy arranging things for the wedding, I sneaked out of my room's window, came down from the pipe, and went to one of the servant's rooms, I changed into her maid uniform, and slowly started walking towards the main gate covering my face with a handkerchief I found in her uniform, avoiding everyone I successfully crossed the main gates!

Nobody doubted me because what I did was wicked, and this action of mine never crossed anyone's intelligence.

I successfully succeeded in escaping from the mansion, more likely the cage, my Dad created for me!

I admired the outside view with happiness in my mind as it was my first time seeing the nature of the world.

The trees, the air, and the sky, everything was perfect. I somehow managed to reach the nearest bus stop, but then the main problem occurred, I was so busy escaping that I forgot to bring the most important thing with me 'money'

And without money, I can't go anywhere neither I can do anything!

Going back to the mansion was not an option, I had to think of something different, and so I got an idea, the idea of stealing from someone! I was ready to go as far as I could because now I have tasted freedom, and in no condition, I will let anyone snatch it away from me. So I looked around me to find the perfect person, and suddenly my eyes got fixed on a certain someone, standing there, talking on his phone. He was handsome and classy. I observed his clothes, boots, and watch, everything was speaking of expensive and branded. I found the perfect target to steal from. I slowly walked in his direction and stood beside him, without catching his attention. Slowly I started moving my hand towards his back pocket to take out his wallet, but just when I placed my fingers in his pocket, I felt a certain uneasiness, so to make sure I shifted my eyes to his face and there he was, staring at me!
