Prologue

She closed her eyes and gave in to the urge she had to get some sleep, she was extremely tired which was very unusual of her kind but a firm tap on her shoulder shook her, she lazily opened her eyes, looked up and then she stood up in fright, her dazzling green eyes staring hard at the elderly woman right in front of her.

"Rey," The woman who was olive like her with the same color eyes and long ash blonde hair in a pure white dress called her softly, there was no urgency so Rey forced herself to relax as she stuck a strand of her ash blonde hair at the back of her ear.

"Grandma?" Rey's eye lids flickered. "What, what happened?" She asked.

"Sit!" She ordered and Rey did what she was asked her eyes still on her grandmother. There was something wrong, she could feel it as much as she had the power to consult her dead grandmother who had died five years prior she knew deep down that she hadn't summoned her that day.

"Something went wrong Rey. You are here with me because right now you are going to go to a place I would never agree to but he knows it is the only way to keep you safe." She explained.

"Don't hate him for it." She added.

"Safe? What happened grandma?" Rey asked her heart racing.

"You are going to have to be strong, more than you've always been. Tough times ahead await you, your destiny has began!"

"Please be frank, I don't understand your words." Rey stood up paced back and forth for a few seconds, her grandmother could see the future and whatever reason was making her utter such words of dispair in her life was enough to tell her something was very, very wrong.

"I cannot tell you much, you will have to figure out some of the events that will happen from now on your own, and what you will have to do to fix them, do not lose courage because you can do it. I believe in you, its going to be so hard my dear granddaugher."

She stood up, walked over to her and held her shoulders a little bit tighter than she was supposed to, locking eyes with her.

"And then when its all done, when everything will be down to ashes in the middle of all the chaos thats when you will remember this moment and the decision you make will affect our past and their future because all you will have then will be the present, that time when everything will befall you." She closed her eyes and opened them placing a hand on Rey's chest.

"But your heart will guide you, do not at any chance allow yourself to be corrupted because that would awaken a darkness your late great grandmother cursed all who will rule with, please, please do not at any cost allow the darkness to take over you, your heart needs to remain pure for all of our sake..."
