Swordsman's Duel

It had been two days since Sarah had seen Samuel. She did not doubt his abilities, but she was concerned about him. After all, he was the trump card that was essential in winning the throne. It was already time to leave and Samuel was nowhere to be seen. Here, the system of time was not reliant on a device like a clock, But on the angle in which the sun and the moon were. In Samuel's previous world, It took exactly about 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds for earth to complete a full rotation. The day had 24 hours there. But, After investigating the time it took in this world to complete one day, Samuel had confirmed that it amounted to around 26 hours. They considered hours to be called as Deep Breaths. Each Deep breath amounted to around 60 breaths(Minutes) And each breath amounted to around 60 winks(seconds).

A day had a total of 26 deep breaths and the reference they used was based on the 26 Deep breath clock with no 13 Deep breath differentiation between Concepts like AM and PM.

The Time they had agreed to meet each other was about half past 13.

" Looking for me?" A voice reached Sarah's ears.

Unfortunately, It was not Samuel. It was Sarah's Brother who was sent to accompany her to the Royal Capital with the envoy.

"Shut up Brian. You have got no business here. Just wait in the guest room inside the mansion. I will call for you when the time comes."

"I want to know more about the person you are so interested in. Samuel, was it? You are too naive to know how a person is just by getting to know him for around a week. I want to meet him too." Brian said with a hint of anger on his face.

He was a good person, just a little bit too overprotective of his siblings. He had watched over Sarah ever since she was a child. He was the second son of the King of Sabith. Sarah was aware of this. She had therefore gotten into a fight with him in the capital when she was 7 years old in order to get rid of his protectiveness for her, because she knew he would never allow her to leave the royal palace. She did not want to stay a child forever.

Brian was an exceptional swordsman. He Did not have a guard or a person to fight for him for the throne. He was a one man show. His skills were deadly for an enemy in a life or death match.

"Princess, I am here." Samuel was walking towards the place where Princess Sarah was standing along with his brother. It was in front of the Guild.

"Wait a moment." Brian said.

"Who are you to command me? I have some business with Princess Sarah. What do you want?" Samuel said harshly. He was still not over the pain and anguish he felt inside the forest after fighting the Snake. He was pretty much fuming with rage and really wanted to fight someone to vent of the anger he had accumulated.

"I want to have a duel." Brian said.

"What's in it for me?" Samuel asked. He was really happy when he heard Brian's proposal, but he wanted to know what Brian was planning.

"If I win, You will never even come near Sarah again. If you do, you can set any condition you like."

"OK, then If I win, I want you to do any one thing I order you to."

"Deal. Judging from your way of walking and standing, you are a swordsman."

"So what?"

"I want to have a swordsman's duel with you."
