The intensity of the previous fight had stunned the crowd. It was not that everyday you get to see such an intense match. Everyone was stupefied beyond reasoning. Their best fighter was killed by a child with only three swings of a knife. It was utterly humiliating for the town to witness such an event. And what was more interesting was that everyone had their bets placed on Maverick, except for the princess and a small boy. The small boy was named Jay, and he was an orphan. He used to sell Handcrafted ornaments for around 3 jester per piece. Today, he had used his entire life's savings on Samuel because he was planning on committing suicide. He had no reason to continue living for. The amount of money he had risked was around 200 jester, and the amount he earned was around 20000 jester, which equals 20 ministers in currency due to the odds being 1 in 100. This was the best day of his life. Although he wasn't be able to see the fight because of the restriction on poor families from entering the arena, he was really glad that he did not die. Now, his wealth could be compared to the 4 month's salary of the head adventurer. He was always interested in opening up a weapons shop after he amassed enough money.Previously,before his parents died, he was from a family which was famous for producing incredible blacksmiths. But now he could open up the shop without waiting that long. And he promised himself that,"The first weapon I make will be for the person who I owe this new life I am living, Master Samuel!"

Samuel felt free. Not because he killed a person, but because he had gained another spell which put his mind at ease. This Spell was a identification spell, which was supposed to be used to find whether the person was good or bad. Currently, the main objective was to find out whether the spell was useful in finding out the identity of a bad person, because Samuel wanted to know whether he did the right thing by killing a bad person, or a wrong one by killing a prideful person person. It turned out that Samuel was using a spell which modified ones senses in a such a way that the person was able to tell whether the person is evil or good by smell. The sweeter the scent is, the purer the person. But if the stench was that of rotten garbage, the person is evil.

"Divine Identification, Activate!"

The moment he said that, there was a change in his body that made his senses feel sharper than before. He turned towards Mavericks dead body, only to find out that he was right in identifying the persona of the Head Adventurer.

"Guess I did the right thing after all."

He was escorted towards the inn by the city guards after the fight.
