He recollected everything he just heard her say. It was still hard to believe that he was cold blooded before.

'Maybe that's why fear doesn't exist in my emotions' he thought as that will be the only reasonable explanation.

"But that still doesn't answer the question" he looked at her.

"Your father already explained to you the reason" she looked at him confused.

'My father'

"Um...I don't think he did"

'If I guessed correctly, she won't suspect a thing and...'

"Okay I'll tell you how it happened" she sat up excitedly as she liked talking about their past and she gets to spend time with the one she loves.

He smiled as he rested on the chair and put one of his legs on the table.

*Brrrrr*

Lightning struck as rain fell heavily. It was dark and the rain made it so that creatures will go into hiding, causing the place to be quiet.

*Clank*

*BOOOOM*

*Shah*

A two people were involved in a heated battle as they fought fiercely. One of them had white hair with two red horns protruding from his head and he had red eyes.

His hair was wet and stuck to his face, making him look handsome even more in the rain.

The other person had short blue hair. His eyes were golden in colour and glowed just like the sun, but at the same time, unlike the sun his eyes were filled with coldness and hostility.

Both of the boys have comparable level of handsomeness.

"Getting tired already, Vernox" the blue haired boy said, looking at the white haired boy that had one knee on the floor and was panting.

"I...won't lose to you today, Sariel"

Vernox stood up and picked up his sword. His eyes glowed white as he walked towards Sariel with angry and determined expression.

Sariel smiled as he saw that Vernox wasn't willing to give up.

"Good...Very good".

A long spear materialised out of out of frost aura released by Sariel. The spear had three spikes at the tip and looked like a trident.

Sariel smiled as his golden eyes glowed brighter and he he sprinted towards Vernox with amazing speed, causing rain droplets to distort and tremble as he ran.

Vernox frowned as his eyes glowed white and he charged towards Sariel at a shocking speed of his own.

*BOOOOM*

Both their weapons clashed, causing the ground below to crack and the rain droplets to be pushed back due to the shockwave from their attacks.

Both of the boys smiled like weirdos and continued clashing swords and striking each other.

They both showed great skill and precision with their weapon but Sariel looks to have the upper hand as he trained in defence and attack of using a weapon. Vernox's attack were just accurate and packed a lot of strength in it.

Sariel was having fun fighting Vernox while Vernox was fighting to win and prove who is stronger but....

"Let's make this interesting" Sariel jumped backwards.

He raised his hand, causing a large blue formation to appear. The formation illuminated the surrounding with it's light. It also looked like a snowflake with more connected magic lines.

"This is where the battle ends, dear friend"

The rain droplets that where falling suddenly stopped and flew back upwards.

The droplets seems to be forming something....or a lot of somethings for that matter. Before he knew it, hundreds of liquid Spears formed and we're floating on the air.

"Hm!" Sariel used his magic to freeze the spears.

All the spears froze, making them sharper, stronger and more sturdy.

"AHHH" Vernox shouted angrily as flames rounded him and spun, forming a dome around him. He gritted his teeth as he was left no option but to defend. He has used up almost all his soul energy as they were fighting before.

"Your puny defence won't save you"

With a wave of his hands, all the ice spears launched towards the dome that Vernox erected.

Many of the ice spears melted on the way to the dome while the others were melted immediately they touched the dome.

"I'm impre..."

"AHHHH..."

*BOOOOM*

A massive heat wave spread out from within the dome, destroying it and spreading around.

The rain droplets were immediately vaporised and the ice spears melted as the wave spread.

"Hm?"

Sariel conjured an ice barrier while infusing large amount of energy into it. The wave crashed into the barrier and it started melting.

Sariel was quick to react as he poured more of his energy into it to withstand the attack.

After spreading for a few thousand metres the wave dissipated and vanished. Sariel emerged from his barrier as it melted away.

He looked at Vernox who laid unconscious on the floor.

"Sigh...You should know your limits Vernox"

The spear formed in his hand as he walked towards Vernox to end him once and for all.

Sariel stared down at Vernox figure on the floor as he remembered all the times they fought. He really liked fighting Vernox as the boy always surprises him each time with massive improvements.

"Sigh..."

Sariel retracted his spear and turned around as he decided not to kill Vernox.

As a human he have always hated demons but he won't kill someone from behind or blindly as it goes against his code of honour.

It wouldn't be fair to kill someone while they are unconscious, that's just cowardice.

"When you're strong enough... we'll have a proper match" Sariel said as a white portal opened in front of him and he entered it.

*Swoosh*

The portal vanished and the surrounding ice began to melt as steam rose up from the floor that was extremely hot due to the wave. The trees and flowers have all been wiped away and all that was left was a half naked Vernox who laid unconscious on the floor.

"SECOND PRINCE!!!"

"VERNOX!!!"

A beautiful black haired woman with red eyes and perfect jawline shouted out. She wore a black battle attire that was fitted and perfect as it revealed her curves.

She ran through the forest, looking around as she ran, screaming as she searched for something.....or someone.

The rain wetted her long hair and she pulled it onto her shoulder to not disturb her.

"Huh?"

She saw steam and smoke coming from the area nearby and she ran there as what she was looking for could be there.

*A few minutes later*

*Gasp*

The lady gasped as she saw a large crater that spread over a kilometre and a figure laying in the middle.

"Vernox!" she had a pained expression as she ran towards the unconscious Vernox.
