After getting his bath that morning, he picked out a normal attire. He wore normal shirt and trousers.

"The footwear of this world is very similar to that of Earth's" he said as he flexed his legs.

The shoes was a tight boot with a long band to wrap around it. It went up to half of his legs and he wondered who made such a hard to wear footwear.

He looked like a ninja with the fitted shoes and tight shirt. He smiled as he looked at himself in the mirror. His horns made him look normal for a demon, but he can't help but feel odd.

"A new day, another day to look good" he said s he touched the little hairs under his nose and made them arranged.

He made his way out of the room and walked straight to the garden in the castle as he has already summoned Beth for his meeting today.

The maids and guards all greeted him with respect as he walked past them.

'Also another day to be the demon Lord' he smiled.

Walking through the pathway, he made his way to the primal garden. He has already taken a liking to this place as it gave him a peaceful vibe.

He entered the glass dome and continued walking to the centre as he looked around.

"I'll definitely take some of these things before I leave for the underworld" he said as he looked at a bunch of purple grapes that had sparkles like little stars on them.

These were ancient demon grapes, they only produce a bunch like this once in five years and they had a few dozen trees of this kind in this place.

These peculiar fruits can heal any injuries in a person including physical, internal, spiritual and external injuries.

He left them as he continued walking towards the centre of the dome.

From afar Vernox could see a beautiful young woman wearing a black gown. A silver pin hooked her hair behind her head and showed the features of her face fully.

Smooth and soft skin, long eyelashes, red pupils, perky lips, a slightly pointed nose and a straight jawline that added to her overall beauty.

Beth dressed up as Vernox told her not to come in that maid attire and she complied. The only thing she wondered is what he wanted to talk to her about.

She turned around and saw Vernox smiling as he walked towards her.

"My Lord" she bowed halfway as she stood up back.

'This girl just have to show me her goods immediately I arrive...but I still like it' he smiled as he has saved the image of her boobs in his mind.

'Damn it!, I can't stop thinking of perverted stuff when I'm with her' he cursed inwardly.

"Come on, sit!" he gestured as he pulled out a chair for her to sit which she did.

"Am I in trouble?" Beth asked sarcastically as she wondered why he wanted to have a private meeting with her. He never calls private meetings.

Vernox chuckled and answered, "No, but there's a very important reason why I called you"

He said while preparing himself inwardly.

"Okay" she sat up as she was ready to hear him out.

'Come on Vernox, you can do this'

He got nervous all of a sudden. He has never faced a girl before in his past life but he has seen other people do it and how hard it was for them.

He thought of them as amateurs then but now that the nervousness has entered him, he finally understood why it was hard.

'What am I even afraid of?' he braced himself.

"Let's get married!" he said with a straight face filled with confidence. He only had the mind to marry when he found out that there wasn't a limit to how many people one can marry.

"Hahaha.....Good one, but I'm not falling for it" Beth laughed at his statement.

'No seriously, you want to make me make it clear to you' he gritted his teeth.

"I'm not trying to trick you!!!" he stood up and grabbed her hand.

"Since I assumed the throne, it's been hard on me. I recently noticed how important it is to have someone like you by my side" he stared at her in her eyes.

Beth had a wave of emotions as she heard his words. His words replayed in her mind and she thought about it again.

"So Beth, will you be my demoness?" he asked with hope in his eyes.

Beth took some time to ponder about it as she also loved him but becoming a demoness wasn't in her caliber.

"Are...are you... sure about this?" she looked up and asked him with a trembling voice.

"Yes I am" he replied to her while smiling as he has gotten her.

She stood up and hugged him while he hugged her back passionately.

"I will support you all the way" she said as she leaned in forward. Understanding her, Vernox moved towards her and kissed her lips.

Their tongues. entertwined as they shared their feelings for each other.

They soon seperated and Beth was as happy as a person can ever get.

"I'll discuss this with the chieftains today. There is so much I must do so I have to rush things a little bit" he said as their forehead was together.

"Take as much time you need" Beth smiled.

Vernox kissed her forehead before letting go of her butt that he grabbed on when they were kissing.

'Jornix may decide to attack very soon, so I have to be ready' he thought. In the game it was an in game event. He didn't know if the events happen here but he wasn't going take any chances and wants to get stronger before then.

He has estimated the time difference, from earth, one month on Earth is equal to One and half year in this world.

From the human world it will take three weeks but from now till the attack. He has already calculated it and it will be fourteen months from now that Jornix kingdom will launch an attack.

He made his way to the throne room as he has already sent a guard to summon the chieftains before he even met Beth as he expected that she will accept his proposal.

The guards at the door bowed towards him as they opened the doors for him.

He nodded towards both of them and smiled as he went in.

"Did he just smile?"

"Yes, yes I think so" the guards were shocked. For the first time they saw the demon Lord smiling.

"Greetings demon Lord Vernox" all the chieftains greeted with unison as Vernox walked passed them as he climbed the podium and sat on the large throne.

"You may sit!" his voice echoed around the room.

The chieftains were all curious as to why the demon Lord summoned them for the first time. They knew that it had to be very important.

"I know that you are all wondering why I summoned you here" Vernox said as he glanced at all of them.

They were all listening carefully as they wanted to hear what he has to say.

"You are going to have a queen soon as I'm getting married"

Immediately he finished his sentence the room quieted down as if his words was a bomb that he dropped on them.

The chieftains were all dumbfounded by his words and one of them finally spoke up.

"My Lord...we do not understand what you are saying" Logan said as he looked troubled.

They all thought that they didn't hear him well and that they were hallucinating his words.

'Sigh...looks like I'll have to explain to you guys too'

Vernox began explaining ow he was going to get married.
