39 Hand Massage

Kazuki offered his right hand. Hexie just looked at it.

'What does he want from me? My phone? Was he going to check who I was talking with? Does he think I'm talking to a third party?!' Hexie hesitantly put her phone on Kazuki's hand.

Choi Kazuki only arched an eyebrow.

"Eh? You're not going to check who I was talking to earlier?" Hexie tilted her head.

"Psh. There's no need to find out who they are, with their loud voices, even I could hear your conversation from the West Wing." Choi Kazuki shook his head disapprovingly and put her phone back in her hands.

"What?! We were that loud? Oh gosh! Sorry."

"I didn't know you were a chatter box. With your voice that loud, you might be even hired as an announcer."

Hexie only grumbled. She couldn't lash out on her Boss, or else, he might destroy her Dad's branch of their family business.

They were silent for a while until Kazuki whispered. Hexie knew it was time to act.

"I need your hand, Wu! We need to hold hands and then rest your head on my shoulder."

"Eh? Weren't you a germaphobe?"

"What made you think that?" Kazuki squinted his cold eyes.

Hexie gulped. She always get goosebumps whenever he does that.

"Permission to rant, Boss."

Choi Kazuki raised his brow. Why is she suddenly stiff?

"Err, well... yesterday...remember when I dragged you to my room to get my business proposal? You looked disgusted when I held you hand. Sorry about that Boss! I'm truly sorry for touching your godly skin. Forgive this lowly servant of yours!" Wu Hexie whispered while both her hands were glued together as if she was praying.

After five seconds of silence, Kazuki only scoffed. She was this dense huh? His lips threatened to turn upwards, but he managed to smirk.

"You misunderstood me, Wu. But nevermind that. Now, give me your hand."

Having no choice, Hexie only nodded and complied. She scooted closer to him and accepted his hand.

'Woah! His hands are softer than mine! Does he even do household chores?' Hexie thought as she examined his palm up to the fingers.

'His hand would look good with lots of rings! The fingers are long and slender. The veins are popping out nicely. Boss' hand looks manly yet when touched, it's softer than a woman's! What moisturizer does he use? His nails are even clean and trimmed nicely--'

She heard the hand's owner cleared his throat.

"Oh sorry, Boss-- I mean, Hubby. Y-you have good hands! Do you want a hand massage, Hubby? I'm fairly good at it." Hexie, with her false soft sweet voice, asked. Hopefully he won't find out her hand fetish.

He only hummed in approval, oblivious of Wu Hexie's eccentric thoughts.

Hexie rested her head on Kazuki's shoulder like what he instructed. She positioned his right hand to her lap where she could see it and started gently massaging it.

Kazuki was momentarily distracted with the smell of watermelon. Was that her shampoo? Now that he thinks about it. She does remind him of a watermelon especially now that she was wearing a green dress and with her red hair.

Small circular motion with appropriate pressure. Kazuki came back to his sense when she started massaging his hands. He was surprised that she was actually good at it.

"Where did you learn this?" Kazuki asked. This time his voice was genuine. Hexie unhurriedly replied, she was focused on Kazuki's hand, silently admiring his fingers.

"I've had a hands-on training last summer at one of our hotels. I don't know what my mother was thinking, but she dragged me into the training without prior notice. But nonetheless I enjoyed it, especially the traditional medicine part."

Athena Hexie remembered how she was annoyed that she was suddenly enrolled at a boring quack medicine session. She should have been at the confines of her room making song remixes for Club Luna. And to top it all off, the training was about Traditional Medicine.

As she was a doctor in her previous life, she looked down on traditional medicine. But her negative views of traditional medicine was changed when she started listening to the training.

The trainers were legit traditional medicine practitioners and healers, not quack doctors. They were even backed up by Hera Wu and was having a collaboration with Wu Laboratories. Athena Hexie never knew traditional medicine and modern medicine would compliment each other well.

"Do you want to try acupuncture? I was awarded on that part hehe! And Dad loves it when I tried my newly acquired skills. He didn't go to work for three days because of it!"

"No thanks." Kazuki flatly refused. The last part of her story sent shivers down his spine. No, he didn't wanna risk his life as Wu Hexie's test subject for her traditional medicine.

"Oh okay." Hexie said somberly and just continued massaging his fingers one by one.

After a few minutes, Wu Hexie asked for his other hand. Choi Kazuki's left hand was soft but his finger tips were a bit rough.

"Hubby? Are you left handed?" She suddenly queried.

"No. I'm ambidextrous." He cooly answered.

Without looking up, he could tell Wu Hexie's voiced was coated with wonder.

"Woah! That's amazing! I have never met people who are both left and right handed, you're the first one!"

Kazuki noticed Wu Hexie was gently rubbing her thumb to his index finger. He suddenly felt a tug on his insides. What is this warmth?

"The guitars I use are for right-handed people. So my left hand is more calloused." He suddenly have an urge to explain.

Hexie hummed, "I see...".

Instead of deafening silence, the air was blanketed with a comfortable one. Then, Kazuki was then reminded why he was here.

"My mother caught you being distraught so she called me to accompany you. It's not that I'm prying, but why were you so worried?"
