"So Spectre," I said. "Have you thought about it?"

"Thought about what again?" She asked.

"My offer, remember? I asked if you wanted to join us on our travelling after Leviathan's healed,"

"Oh yeah. That. The answer's still no by the way, but you're welcome to stay here for a while after Leviathan's healed. If you want to." She said.

"Oh. Alright. Just let me know if you change your mind." I said, kind of sad that she didn't want to join us. I was kinda relying on the answer being yes.

"Don't look so sad Videns. I'll think it over, and give you my answer before you guys leave."

I was relieved. "Okay!" I said cheerfully. She smiled, and went back to polishing the tavern's shot glasses.

Lykfilia walked in with a sad look on her face.

"What's the matter Lyka?" Spectre asked her.

"It's gotten worse."

"What's gotten worse?"

"Leviathan's memories. They're completely gone again." She was on the verge of crying, I could hear it in her voice.

"Shhhh, don't cry Lykfilia." She pulled her in for a hug. "I'm trying to find the correct spell to use on other people, then I can break the block."

"B-but you remember me?"

"I used a spell on myself, there is a slight difference in how they work, spells on yourself and spells on other people." Spectre explained.

"Excuse my curiosity, Spectre, but uhm, I've been wondering since you showed up." Sirius started. "Since Lyka is a fairy, Leviathan's obviously a demon-"

"Demon-vampire." Spectre corrected him.

"Demon vampire then. But what are you?"

"That's none of your concern. If you don't already know, you don't have to." She said.

"Oh. Okay." Sirius replied.

He couldn't say anything else, because everybody got cut off by Leviathan's arrival to the main room.

"Hey hey hey, look who's here!" Spectre said.

"Shut up Spectre, I haven't been gone for that long!" He replied to her without a thought.

"Leviathan..." she sighed. "It's been a week and a half since Stradivarius attacked you."

"Oh." He looked surprised. "Ah well. I have a question. Who's the blondie again?"

Everyone looked at him, stunned that he couldn't remember her at all. Lykfilia's eyes started tearing up, but she kept her face, looked Leviathan dead in the eye, and walked past him, up the stairs to her room.

Spectre looked at her leave, and then at Leviathan.

"Seriously, I need to find that spell. Unless......no......he wouldn't......not just for that..." she started muttering something under her breath.

"Can someone tell me what is going on?!? How can I have hurt someone I don't even remember?" He said, his voice bouncing around in the room, almost echoing. His voice was thick with confusion and a little more accent than usually.

"It's all gonna be solved Levi. Just be patient. " Spectre said, put down the polishing cloth and the glass she was polishing, and left the room to go talk to Lykfilia.

"Uhm, basically Leviathan, she's one of your best friends. You can't remember her for some reason, but Spectre said she's working on it. " I told him, hoping he'd be less confused.

Leviathan looked at me for a while. Then he spoke up, his voice sounding a bit tired.

"I need a drink. If anyone needs me, I'll be in my room." He then got a bottle of something from behind the counter, and a glass from the shelves. He walked back up the stairs and I could hear the door slamming shut.

A few minuted later, Spectre came back down, looking furious.

She grabbed her cloak, and stormed to the door.

"Where are you going?" Sirius asked her.

"I've found the solution to Leviathan's memory problem, and somebody is about to die." She said, and left the building, slamming the door behind her.
