CHAPTER 1: Beginning After The End

This feeling. The feeling of an unknown pressure where I couldn't even open my eyes. Am I floating? All I could physically feel is that cold water covers me as If I'm under the water sinking.

I tried to open my eyes but I failed. Am I drowning? No. I still remember that I was with Nathan and then I was... Shot from behind.

These feelings really suffocate me. The fact that I'm in the water puzzles me. Is this the way to the underworld? Did I really get killed? I want to open my eyes and I want to move, but my whole body's paralyzed and I can't even move a single damn finger.

What's this? Am I really dead? I tried to move but my body won't work. I try and I try every single time but I still can't. In the current moment I'm in, I'm starting to realize that I can't breathe. 'Fuck it! In a situation like this!?"

So I tried to move again. And again. And again. 'Fuck!' And I've had enough. I'm wondering how am I still alive when I couldn't even breath and paralyzed under the water? A miracle.

The times have passed, I still couldn't do anything. Not until the moment I start to feel my mind connecting to my body, processing that I should move or I'll be a corpse here forever.

I didn't put on a single strength when I'm starting to feel my body consciousness, but instead, I calmed myself down together with my mind. I should focus. I need to refill my mental and physical state so that I can avoid any circumstance that appears on my way.

Minutes later, when I felt it's enough, I got a grip of my fists and opened my eyes. 'I will surely get away from this hellish situation.' But as soon as I opened my eyes, Instead of the normal water around me, I saw no place to go. The sides of me are black. The top of me is also not instead of the lights above, and of course, the bottom that seems boundless just matches how scary those sides are. There's not even a fish showing. 'How am I supposed to survive in this place?!'

I want to scream but I can't. I tried to move and all I could give strength to was my arms. I wanted to grunt because the thought of having enough strength to swim above is possible but the truth is, it's impossible for me with this kind of strength right now. 'Now that I can't do more than this, how am I able to swim?' Be a frog.

'Dumbass.' I wanted to slap myself for being stupid, but that can't help any in this current matter. As time has passed, I'm still under water, can't breathe with an unfully strength and some miraculous thing has happened to me. I should think. If this is just a normal thing, I would have probably been a lifeless cold man.

I lifted my head up to look for a way to escape and I could literally see nothing except from the creepy pitch black around me. But, if I'll stay like this without doing anything, I won't be able to find out why I ended up in this place. I wanted to think more, but my thoughts, filled with anxiety, scares me.This is not the way I wanted to be.

I want to cry out loud but I couldn't, when I felt like I'm staying like this forever, tell me that I should've killed myself instead. I'm cursing myself for not being able to do anything until I felt something unfamiliar. 'What..?' This feels uneasy that I could shiver from it. But to my surprise, I saw a Lady, no, beautiful Lady from above swam through this deep and scary water.

'...Just who is she..?' She's wearing a beautiful silk dress that can't be identified if it's ruined or not, but she's like a goddess. I tried to look around if this is just an illusion from being trapped in here but, it seems so real. 'Could she perhaps...An angel of death?'

I wanted to panic about not realizing it sooner as I saw her. 'This is the worst!' I slightly moved my arms but I already got caught by her with her touch that made me stilled from attempting to escape from death. 'No!'

I wanted to move away but she has already got my shoulders that made me face her completely. The moment I laid my eyes on her, I knew that her beauty would be more extraordinary if it's this close. 'What a goddess.'

The unfamiliar touches she made, gave me goosebumps. Her eyes were lifeless, but can be tempting. Her white long hair floating around, is as cool as snow. The creepy darkness that surrounds me slowly fades away, until I can see the water clearer.

I locked my eyes on her and didn't move a single bit, while enjoying the feelings that somehow got lightened. Not until she purposefully pulled me, enough to feel the skinship between me and her, making me stunned at a moment and as soon as she raised her right hand to caress my face, A light smile appeared on her face.

"I'll leave the fate to you that I should've had."

I was literally stunned when I heard her voice coming from her mouth. 'I mean, how could she talk under the water? And... What fate does she mean..?' I tried to open my mouth to give a response but, I only just got my situation worsened.

My chest began to feel heavy and I am aware that this time, I should go up and take some oxygen. 'Fuck.' I struggled and held my neck. 'This is not the same miraculous feeling the way I had before.' I squeezed my eyes when I started to get dizzy, not until I felt the lady's touch again.

'It... It's warm...' I couldn't open my eyes clearly because of dizziness and the moment I'm about to lose consciousness, I felt something soft pressing on my lips. 

My mind went blank as well as my body didn't react when the seconds of realization hit me. 'She's kissing m--! No... She's giving me air to breathe.'

I'm thankful that I'll be able to breathe again but, It's too late for me to recover for now. My eyelids were heavy and I couldn't see everything clearly.

"I'm counting on you. Farewell."

The last moment I'm about to witness, Is the beautiful Lady's smile before my unconscious state.

'No... I can't die... There's someone who's waiting for me at home... Mother..! Sister! I'm sorry for saying this but... I still want to live to make Father change! There are so many cruel things in the world that can harm him..! Either do Nathan!'

I can't...

.. I can't die yet!

"I CAN'T!" With racing breath, beads of sweat, I sat directly as if I just woke up from a bad dream.

'No... It seems so real. A nightmare..!' I folded my knee and caressed my head. I still can recall my dream and it's too blurry to be vivid.

"I'll leave the fate to you that I should've had."  I heard a voice and I know that I've heard it before.

"I'm counting on you. Farewell." I held my head and squeezed my eyes because it hurts. 'Stop.' The voice keeps recalling over and over to the point that my head might be blown up from pressure. 'I can't... It f*cking hurts!'

".. F*CK IT! STOP!" I screamed from the top of my lungs because of the pain I'm feeling. I greeted my teeth as I controlled myself from recalling the nightmare I had. 'This feeling is new! To the point that I can't compare the pain whenever I had a hangover..!'

"My... My Lady? Are you alright?"

"Do you think I f*cking am!?" I spat back because of anger and irritation with the situation. 'Just who would be stupid to ask someone even though they saw you enough in pai—!'

And suddenly, another realization hits me. Right. 'Why am I screaming again? Because of pain. Who am I answering again? I don't know.' I stilled. '... Then, when did someone enter my room? It sounds feminine though, and I don't even remember I have a girlfri–'

"My Lady."

That again. 'And what?' I wanted to point at myself as I'm imagining that I'm confronting the lady who called me. '... Did.. did she just call me 'Lady'?'

I wanted to complain but I suddenly remembered that I'm already distracted from the suffering situation I was in. And come to think of it, the moment I shouted lately reminds me that it's not the voice I actually have. I secretly held my throat. 'What happened..?'

Wandering in my thoughts makes me feel more uncomfortable. 'gosh d*mn it!' I bit my nails and thought something again without responding to the woman back. '... Wait..'

I stopped biting my nails when I noticed something. 'Did I.. Did I go into a coma after the incident?' I squeezed my eyes. "If so then, I'm in a hospital?.. But it's impossible for my father to leave me here..! And second is that only one woman is here with m- wait.' I stilled when I noticed something again.

''M-My..."

"My Lady? A-Are you alright? Should I bring you something you'd like to eat?"

My lips shaked and my mind went blank. "My... MY ABS ARE GONE!"
