New start

I was working on a project in my room on the twelfth floor when suddenly appear our distinguished guest, the one and only:

Truck-Kuuuun!!!!

So, after this unfortunate and totally normal event I find myself in a large expanse of white just in front of a humanoid universe I suppose.

"Hello young soul" says the human shaped universe.

"Euh… hello" I weakly answer.

"I think you read enough fiction to know that I'm a ROB and that you're dead, in my infinite kindness I will reincarnate you into another world." Continue the universe.

"Mmh Ok do I get to choose or something?" I answer with a bit more of confidence.

"Yes, but only one special ability." He answers shortly.

And that's how you end up waking up in a different world, in a different body.

At least I got a special ability something that will give me an easier life in this world.

Here I am in Reverend insanity with the Infini special ability from Nanatsu no taizai.

To be a little more accurate I'm currently a toddler in an eastern sea tribe, a human settlement hidden in a submarine cave to hide themselves from the variant Human.

The cave is a colourful one with reflect of dozens of different colours, an access to a network of underground tunnel, on another side there is a deep hole filled with seawater that led directly to the ocean.

As you probably deduce it, I am born in the immemorial Antiquity Era a million year before the rise of Primordial Origin Immortal Venerable using Fate Gu and the start of the Remote Antiquity Era.

The positive point is the abundance of resource and my ability that will probably allow me to become ageless easily, the absence of enmity inside of the Human race and the fact that Heaven will can't scheme for the next 2 million year.

The negative point is the lack of Paths apart from the Space and Time and the emergence of the Qi path. There is also the supremacy of the variant Human constantly suppressing Humanity and the lack of inheritance outside of Ren Zu one.

My parents are both important people of the tribe since they both manage to be Tier 3 Gu master when I reach 10 years old, my mother was only Tier 2 when I was born. They have as duty to go out of the settlement to get resource and food to sustain the children and elderly.

Both of my parents aren't specializing in a path due to the lack of high Tier space and time path Gu around the cave despite the large number of space and time Gu material, but they were pretty lucky with my mother getting a Tier 2 water path healing Gu and my father a Tier 3 Qi path defensive Gu and a Tier 4 strength path offensive Gu.

Even if the paths aren't mainstream the resource and Gu of those path are already present in the Gu world.

The tribe would have been quite powerful if you put it at the time of Fang Yuan with two Tier 5 Gu master and around twenty Tier 4. But unfortunately, this Era is ruthless, every year one tenth of the active Gu master die to either protect the village or provide for it, luckily my parents encounter no harm in the last fifteenth years, but I can't say so for my grandparents who all died.

And after fifteen years of powerless existence of training and learning everything, I could on both the mortal and Gu master world, watching Gu master competition and training. It was finally my moment, the awakening ceremony will start in an hour in the spirit cave, a beautiful cave with white luminescent flower blooming in every place from the ground to the ceiling creating a fantasy scenery I would never have the hope to see in my previous life.

After stopping daydreaming, I heard my name.

"Wuqionq" Call an old man with a white beard looking like a certain Headmaster from a certain magic school.

With the call of my name, I start walking in the direction of the wall opposite of the entrance. With each step I take numerous white lights start to fly from the blooming flowers and gather toward my navel, when I take my nth step I hear a loud sound from my navel, I take an inspiration and concentre my sense on my navel where I find an aperture filled with 79% of jade green primeval essence.

After my father finish checking my aperture and reporting the percentage to the white beard elder, I become surrounded by my parents congratulating me for my successful awakening with B rated talent.

After that we were directly sent to a nearby room where we went two by two to choose our first Gu worm, the room was pretty big with plenty of Gu worm exposed and sort by path and category in the four sides and the shelves disposed in the middle of the room.

I choose an ephemeral(insect) like Gu worm, Tier 1 time path Gu Short Lived Time Gu.

Short Lived Time Gu: Let every Dao mark that you consider negative rapidly fade away in Time, Tier of the Gu affect le speed and range of Dao mark affected.

The reason I choose this Gu worm is that my parents told me that they would gift me an offensive Gu worm if I awakened successfully.

Later that night after dinning with my parents and choosing my new Gu a black spider with green point, the Tier 1 Poisonous Spider Gu, I retreat in my bedroom to start nurturing my aperture wall.

I woke up early after a good sleep and start experimenting and training with my Gu worm and my special ability, I rapidly discover that my Tier 1 Short Lived Time Gu could be infinitely applied to myself for no additional cost and still being able to use it on other. My Poisonous Spider Gu could create and lunch a green ball that would spread a 2-meter radius poisonous fog upon impact and stay infinitely if nobody removes it with another Gu or I deliberately remove the infinity on it, unfortunately I'm not automatically immune to the poison but with the passive Short Lived Time effect I can easily ignore the poison.

The tribe let every newly awakened Gu master a one-year time before issuing mandatory mission, during that year I breakthrough to Tier 2 with my B tier talent and the resources and primeval stones from my family, the clan and obtained during different event like competitions. After becoming Tier 2 The clan gift the Gu master a Tier 2 Gu, I choose Amplify Effect Gu from Rule path and I upgrade my Short Lived Time Gu to Tier 2 with my meagre achievement in refinement path along with the fact that it can't die in refinement due to it being my natal Gu, with the amplification of my special ability and my two Tier 2 Gu I was practically invincible in Tier 2 despite being only an early Tier 2 Gu master. The only things that could kill me are instant kill, getting suffocate, hunger, thirst, or a Tier 3 and higher who could easily overpower my defence, like my father did during our spars.

After that leisure year it was finally time to start my real adventure as a Gu master.
