After Thieving Heaven became Demon Venerable the Theft path which was looked down upon by many during his immortal days underwent a drastic change the new Gu masters started practicing the theft path and space path .

Attacking Clans and Gu masters then robbing them were daily occurrence in the world the old and powerful tribes/ clans were able to secure thier riches by formations and manpower but the middle and small sized clans /tribes were like tantalizing dishes left in hands of the theft path Gu masters .

In the Northern plains where Wars and conquests were daily occurrence the Theft path and Demonic Gu masters were further fueled by the prospect of more resources they attacked and robbed countless people and clans and sold them to slavery.

Near the Yu Tian region where 4 tribes Shi ,Fu,Mu,Chen were at war against each other a empty treasury is akin to death sentence but unfortunately for Shi tribe it happened to them.

Shi tribe's patriarch pov.

"HOW DID THIS HAPPENED" i yelled to the elders responsible for protection of our tribe's treasury and valuable Gu and thier recipes "HOW COULD YOU NOT HANDLE SOME SNEAKING DEMONIC CULTIVATORS YOU THREE ARE LEVEL 3 GU MASTERS" the elders flinched but one of them had gall to complain " Patriach they practiced the Theft path and you know how difficult it is to capture them".

This senile old man I should have sended him to front lines where he would had some use " THEY WERE ONLY TWO YOU OUTNUMBERED THEM AND STILL COULDN'T CAPTURE THEM HOW DID YOU MANAGED TO SURVIVE TILL NOW IS BEYOND ME" .

Tribe Leader-Tribe Leader a Gu master entered the room "Tribe Leader there is no sign of thieves near our village as you instructed we even searched the mortal villages there were no sign of them".

"Leave now and I want all three of you at the forefront of war and no soul should hear about the theft am I understood" I said while realising my Rank5 aura the elders started to squirm under my pressure "Now go" and they ran like children afraid of thier father's beating.

"I want you to spread rumors that Fu and Mu Tribe sent thier Gu masters to infiltrate our Home but I sent them running like the cowards they are at least it will boost our clan members confidence". He nodded "As you wish Tribe leader" and left.

Left alone in the room I slumped on the chair lamenting my Tribe's bleak future.

"Did we find them" my brother said as he entered the empty room "no we didn't there were no signs of them even in the mortal villages and forests"

"Are we sure the other Tribes didn't have a hand in this scheme" I pondered "it could be possible the Fu and Mu Tribe always hated us while Chen Tribe thought themselves as our superior"

"I want you to advance in middle stage of Rank4 fast if you could reach upper stage it will be best but another Rank four middle stage Gu master will give us a fighting chance against Chen Tribe"

He nodded before speaking again"But they have five Rank four Gu master with me we will only have three not to mention thier Tribe's patriarch who is middle stage Rank5 Gu master and now without the treasury to fund the war will we even last long against them".

He is right we are losing, the Chen tribe's Leader has been in Rank 5 for eight years while I only advanced a year ago if we ever fought Chen Hao will win but i will injure him to a point where he won't be able to fight anymore.

"Two of thier rank four elders are old and one of them could die any time . If our own elders and clan fought cautiously we can survive" I said while thinking about the the future of our Tribe.

"Should we attack Fu or Mu Tribe if we plunder thier resources we could atleast continue funding the war"

"If we attack them those cockroaches will band together and Chen Tribe will not miss this chance to attack us. we will at least at be at impass against the Chen Tribe for few months before the news about treasury leaks"

I agree with him why couldn't the Venerable cultivate a more sophisticated path instead of theft and space .
