Chapter 2552

Her voice was not a shout, and she did not use any Killer Moves, but there was not a soul that did not hear it. 

"What!" Heaven roared from the pit within the crater. 

Earth's proclamation was one of peace to the minds of the world and of war against Heaven. 

A furious Heaven could not be trifled with, for few things could make Heaven truly wrathful.

In an instant all the power of hatred that Qing Chou was using stopped obeying his command. 

"How…"

Ordinarily, Heaven would have gloated at the misfortune of his opponent, but not at the moment, he was too consumed in rage. 

"...3…3 Billion years…" Heaven muttered to himself in a low growl, "3 F**king Billion Years!" 

And those were the last words Qing Chou heard before the Wrath Gu in him swelled in crimson red, drowning him in the rage, the loneliness, the sting of betrayal and at the bottom of those 3 Billion years of emotions.

Red was all Qing Chou could see before being evaporated into ashes by the burning flames of Wrath. 

But Heaven hadn't the time nor mood to savour his victory. 

Wrath Gu sought only those who could exhibit the truest form of Hatred, and there is no greater hate than that which stems from betrayal by the one who matters most. 

Heaven's Hatred fuelled Wrath Gu and satiated it for once in its entire existence. 

It was drawn to Heaven's unbridled anger. 

Even in his rage, Heaven was still Heaven, and he weighed his options, "Under the power and influence of Wrath I will begin to exhibit my inhibitions lowered and my desires heightened. I may no longer be able to control my desires…but I should still retain my sanity!" 

"Fine!" he bit his lips, "You guys wanted me mad? You got me mad!" 

Heaven grabbed hold of Wrath Gu and the two merged, his golden body turned crimson rand hisit's contour began to twist and grow rapidly

His muscles began to bulge, and his veins began to form, even though the body was encased in the deep glow of crimson, one could still make out the clear details of veins, thicker than snakes, and a body frame that made mountains tremble. 

His size wasn't the only thing skyrocketing, his aura was also. 

"Hoh?" a deep and vast sound, the type you hear from a dark cavern or bottomless pit, "…Interesting…" 

The voice came from Sloth!

Though he seemed to be moving slowly, with every step he traversed hundreds of Kilometers, 

Heaven's newfound strength and size were impressive, but as Sloth grew nearer his true size was only growing larger. 

"Damn!" Heaven looked on with shock, "In this state, my powers are at the very limits of what a Dao Lord can be, I could fight a Saint in his Domain and still escape with ease, but…this guy…exceeds even that!?" 

Sloth moved with unstoppable momentum, it seemed as if nothing could ever get in his way…until he reached halfway way between where he entered the Western Desert to where they were.

"Here's good," he spoke, and the air trembled and carried his words to the ears of everyone for 1000 Kilometers.

Maintaining both Sanity and Rage at the same time was something that required immense concentration and focus, Heaven could not slouch on it or he would be consumed or smother the Rage that he had been building up. 

So imagine his surprise when the one thing that would cause this delicate balance to break appeared right before his eyes.

"Earth!" Heaven's eyes turned bloodshot, his hands turned to claws, and his mind was flooded with nothing but rage, but being a 3 Billion-year-old deity meant that he wasn't consumed that easily.

A tiny part of his rational mind wondered, "Why is she here? She should know better, this was her plan after all?" 

Further inspection from the rational mind, showed that Earth's face was plastered with terror and fear, but it wasn't aimed at him.

"Dodge you idiot!" Earth knocked the snarling Heaven down onto the ground, his hands spread out to break the fall, on instinct. 

Just as his rage hit its zenith and was about to be unleashed, the sky and earth split apart, and a prismatic ray of light shot through where he was standing mere seconds ago. 

As he was piecing it together, the sound finally hit.

At first, dead silence was all anyone could hear, but in the very next millisecond, all the surrounding air and matter filled the gap that was left by the beam, creating a sucking sound before…

*BOOM* 

Dao Emperor Killer Move ---------- Prismatic Cannon

"Hmmmmm?" Sloth raised its droopy eyelids, "you're still alive? What a pain." 

Sloth exhaled a deep sigh, causing massive hurricanes and twisters for those right below him, it would have been a tragic loss of life if they hadn't all already been destroyed by the magnitude 11 earthquake caused by Sloth's footsteps.

The dust settled,

Heaven paid full attention to Sloth's movement, to see if he would charge up another attack. 

"How many of those can he fire and how long does it take to charge?" the turmoil and conflict between Rage and Sanity, was quickly suppressed by Heaven's innate instinct of survival. 

Unlike most immortals or deities, Heaven was the rare breed that feared death more than anything. 

"This damn thing is breaking all the rules!" he cursed in his mind, but he knew that wasn't the case, because the Heavenly Dao hadn't restricted or kicked it out. 

"Although that damn Dao has gained a sentience he must still act within his programming, he cannot go against the principles that we have set down!" 

Indeed, Sloth was strong, way too strong for the mortal realm, he should have been kicked to the plains of ascension…but he wasn't, there was a loophole that Sloth and the Heavenly Dao were exploiting to keep Sloth from ascending. 

"I can't hope to beat him 1 on 1, but if I can figure out what loophole they're using I can cause them to accidentally break it, forcing Sloth to ascend I…" it was at that moment something else that caught Heaven's attention.

"Where's Earth!?!?!?" He turned to see the impact spot of that Prismatic Cannon, "That blast had enough power to travel across the entire Gu Region, yet it blew up here? Which can only mean…" 

Sure enough, when the dust settled, a gorgeous beauty could be seen lying, motionlessly, on the ground, 

"NOOOOO!"
