176 Chapter 2508 Space Escape Gu Makes Its Apperance!

Naturally, all 3 factions had no idea where Earth Gu was prior to Fang Yuan revealing it, even Earth was clueless.

"No wonder he was so willing to work with us," Earth thought to herself, "Did he have Earth Gu all this time?"

Fang Yuan had been displaying raw strength for so long that everyone had nearly forgotten that it was his cunningness that they should truly fear.

Though, Earth was technically right,

"Everything is coming to fruition as you predicted," Fang Yuan sighed to himself, "After I ascend I will be ambushed by Reckless Savage, and while I'll be able to hold my own, Primordial won't let me off and with their combined might I will die."

Fang Yuan had gotten a glimpse of the current future, and thus, knew that Paradise Earth would give him Earth Gu, but he also knew that in every variation of this future he ended up dying because of the combined attack by Reckless and Primordial.

This was all part of Great Dream's plan to instill despair into Fang Yuan!

No matter if he tried accumulating more strength in the 5 Regions, or trying to fight back against the two, he was doomed to meet his end!

"Hmph!" Fang Yuan clenched his fist resolutely, "If everything else has failed then I'll try something new! I will stake my life in pursuit of eternity with no regrets!"

"Who's there!" Fang Yuan instantly snapped toward the source of the sound, he was startled that someone had the ability to sneak up to him!

"Even if I wasn't paying full attention, there's no way someone could have snuck up on me within the Eastern Sea!"

The figure raised both its hands in surrendering motion, "I come in peace, in fact, I come with a proposition."

Dispelling his concealment, Fang Yuan stared at the figure, the form it took was one he had only recongised in the fictions of his original world.

"A mechanical suit?" Fang Yuan could instantly recongise that only one person whose legacy would develop in such a way.

"Not quite," he responded, the man opened the mask to reveal Peng Da!

After being sent on his mission to collect the remaining Thieveing Heaven inheritances, Peng Da suffered hardship after hardship but it was if a mysterious force was always pushing him towards success.

Throughout the Gu World he was known as the Red Suit, a being that was busy chasing after the Theiveing Heaven Inheritences.

He fought skirimishes after skirmishes at every Thieveing Heaven Inheritance, for some reason they began popping up more and more after the Venerables and Fang Yuan fought.

Some assumed it was the shockwaves that caused their concealment to fade, others thought that the merging of Earth veins was the cause, Peng Da suspected the former.

Though no one knew the truth, it was all intentional!

Thieving Heaven had setup the remaining Inheritances to serves as a way to facilitate one final mission, one final goal.

"I am not 'Thieveing Heaven' as you know him, rather I am the digitised version of his memory, personality and will."

"I see," Fang Yuan replied, "And you've come here with what as a propersition?"

'Thieving Heaven' continued, "As you know, my Dao Guardian was the one that caused the hole in the world boundary."

Fang Yuan nodded,

"His name is Sha Xiao and he is not only my Dao Guardian, but also my brother from my original world." (1)

Thieving Heaven continued, "I know you've visited my Dream Realms and know about Sha Xiao but him being my actual brother from our original home world was something I didn't know until much later, you see in our original world we were both upstanding knights of the Mecha Academy, we piloted ginormous mechs to combat the Kaijus of our world."

He recalled the past in great detail, reminiscing, about his family, his world and eventually his brother's heroic sacrifice.

"He was someone I looked up to and I felt great pity that he has resorted to such cruel means, but nevertheless he is my brother and I want to help him."

Fang Yuan asked the obvious, "Help him? Help him how? He should be reduced to nothing but ash after being submerged in Chaos for that long."

But to Fang Yuan's surprise Thieveing Heaven shook his head, "He is very much alive,"

"Oh?" this news peaked Fang Yuan's interest, "Not even Limitless manage to obtain an undying body, how did he-"

Theivieng Heavn cut him off, "It's not an undying immortal body like Limitless had, it is very much a normal body, but have you ever wondered what happens if one were to die in the Void."

"Obliteration." Fang Yuan concluded after much research with Chaos, "Nothing could withstand the constant baptism of Chaos flooding your body from ever possible angle."

"You're partially right," Thieving Heaven responded, "What actually happens is your physical body gets destroyed, along with your soul but your consciousness? Well, that gets trapped in an eternal purgatory of suffering!"

For the third time today Fang Yuan was immensely shocked, "What do you mean by that?"

"Think about it," Thieving Heaven explained, "How do Otherwordly Demons end up in the Gu World? We have to had travelled from our world, through the Void, to this world, now what is the only thing we end up having?"

"Our memories!" Fang Yuan understood what Theiveing Heaven was alluding to, "But then what about all the otherworld Dao Marks and such that we manage to bring over?"

Thieving Heaven nodded, "I have a theory that it is the only reason we managed to survive to make it to the Gu World is because we have enough Dao Marks to protect us to make it but should we transmigrating a second time…"

"A fate worse than death," Fang Yuan finished Theiveing's thought, "How do you know all this if Sha Xiao is the one that went?"

"Because our mind, body and soul were linked as one. We managed to basically double our strength and stood equivalent to having the might of 2 Venerables!"

"I was telepathically receiving everything he experienced as he searched for our homeworld."

"Yes," Thievieng Heaven visibly shuddered, "Including the pain."

"So how are you standing here, seemingly well adjusted, if you've endured unimaginable pain for the past thousands of years."

Thieving Heaven tapped his head, "I'm no longer 'Thieveing Heaven' I am a copy of his memories and personality, but I am, strictly speaking, not him. The real Thieveing Heaven killed himself shortly after setting all this up."

Fang Yuan's eyes widened slightly at that news, "Killed himself?"

"That's right," 'Thieving Heaven' nodded, "It wasn't just pain that was feeding into his mind, but the emotions and despair of Sha Xiao."

"That's fascinating and all," Fang Yuan said with little enthusiasm, "But this helps me how?"

'Thieveing Heaven' took out a small Information Gu,

"This is the final piece of my ture Inheritance, in his last days, Thieving Heaven made 10 True Inheritances, but 7 of the True Inheritances were meant to find the person who could end Sha Xiao's suffering."

"You."

Fang Yuan raised an eyebrow, "Hang on. Are you telling me that Thieving Heaven set all this up just so I would help his brother?"

'Thieving Heaven' nodded, "His mind was slowly being eroded by Sha Xiao's pain, he wasn't able to sever that connection with Sha Xiao and thus could not reach the Dao Emperor realm. He left Ghostly Concealment, the True Meaning of Fake Gu and now this for you."

"I see," Fang Yuan took the inheritance and browsed through it, "This is!"

"A way to fool even the Heavenly Dao."

"Here." 'Thieving Heaven took out a small bluish Gu, "The final Gu to accompany the Inheritance, Thieving Heaven never figured out it's purpose but he hoped it would aid you in some way."

(1)Obviously, not mentioned in the OG something I completely made up, but I never understood why Sha Xiao left the Gu World in search of his 'home' so I always assumed he was also an otherworldly Demon, one that had spent many years here.

(2) I don't remember if this Gu died or not or if it's in someone else's possession but I do know the prophecy regarding it.
