Chapter 2454 For Humanity, For The Future, For Heavenly Court!

Across the entire Gu World, similar situations were playing out.

Many Gu Masters were deeply confused and ended up getting killed in the Dream Realms.

Unlike the Gu Masters who had little to no knowledge of Dream Realms, Gu Immortals had the advantage of knowing what Dream Realms were, what the rewards were and what the potential dangers were.

However, despite that knowledge, most Gu Immortals didn't fare that much better than talented Gu Masters.

A Dream Realm tested one's problem-solving skill and ability, everyone's strength was relegated to the level set by the Dream Realm, even if you are a Venerable.

Of course, this didn't take into account life experiences.

For example, even if a Rank 8 and a Rank 3 were both regressed to a Rank 1 Gu Master, Rank 8 would still possess an enormous edge over the Rank 3 Gu Master.

This is due to the gap in experience, whether it be combat, knowledge or proficiency in Killer Moves.

There will always exist that gap.

Not to mention if it was a Dream Realm where the targets are already Gu Immortals, further placing the Gu Masters at a bigger disadvantage, due to the complexity of Immortal Killer Moves.

On a sunny hill, with lush forests below

"Ma Hong Yun seems to be learning rather fast in the Dream Realm," a lady sat on a stone table, sipping tea said as she watched a screen filled with various images and scenarios.

"Mhm," a man nodded, picking up his own teacup: "He shows incredible promise, with the blood talent of 10 genius, luck that counters Fang Yuan and with Great Dream personally curating this Human Path dream for him how could he possibly fail."

The man and woman were Red Lotus and Star Constellation respectively.

"Hmph!" a cold snort sounded from behind them, "You tricked me!"

A stunning ice-cold beauty had her arms crossed with a pouty expression, that looked more cute than ferocious.

It was none other than Heaven!

Red Lotus had a sneering disgusted look on his face, "When are you going to change back to your male form."

Heaven snorted: "I do not possess enough strength to contend against Fang Yuan directly as I have only cultivated half of this body's potential, thus, I have decided to raise up the Yin Form as well."

Indeed, from the recent battle between Heavenly Court and Fang Yuan, it became painfully clear the gap in power.

"Fang Yuan has indeed hidden deeply," Star Constellation bit her lips upon thinking about the numerous times he had foiled Giant Sun and how close she would have been to death if Red Lotus and Genesis Lotus did not return.

"If Fang Yuan displayed this strength when it was just Giant Sun, Spectral Soul and me…" Star Constellation shuddered to think if Heavenly Court would ever be able to rise if that happened.

Heaven activated a Killer Move that tied a pink rope around her waist, she then walked to the demarcation line between the Dream Realms and the Painting World.

That's right! Genesis Lotus had taken out the Painting World to create a temporary base of operations for Heavenly Court.

He instructed all the newly resurrected members of Heavenly Court: "Now, I know most of you do not have a complete memory of what happened in your previous lives, but I am sure all of you still retain the heart for Humanity, the heart of hope and the heart to be guardians of Humanity!"

Genesis Lotus's speech struck a fire of passion within the hearts of the Heavenly Court members.

"I will be brutally honest with you all," Genesis Lotus turned stern: "You're all weak!"

The fiery crowd was instantly drenched with cold water, Genesis Lotus continued:

"You all suffered at the hands of Fang Yuan, even before he was a Venerable, and now not only has transcended far above that but you are mere shadows of your former selves."

The crowd of resurrected Heavenly Court members looked down at the ground in shame, they begun to lose hope.

But as the crowd lost hope, one man walked out:

"Hmm?" Genesis Lotus was about to give his rousing speech when he noticed who stepped out.

"Lord Genesis Lotus, I am humbly grateful for what you have done for Humanity, the toils and sacrifices you have gone through have only furthered my impression of you, you are right, we are but ants amongst giants, but if you give us the chance we will lay our lives down if it means protecting humanity, just like our ancestors of old did, so to will we live so that others may live and die so that others may live, in all things we exist so that future generations may exist, as our forefathers had one so too shall we."

The man had an imposing and deep voice, his resolute nature and aura instantly galvanized the crowd:

"Yes! I am willing to lay my life down for Heavenly Court!"

"For Humanity!"

"For the Future!"

"For a better world!"

One by one the spirit of the Heavenly Court members was being rejuvenated to what it once was.

Red Lotus and Star Constellation did not personally oversee the reeducation of Heavenly Court Member, but when they heard that speech and conviction.

Even they felt their blood begin to boil, something they had not felt in a long time.

"Red Lotus is that…" Star Constellation stopped as she saw him nod his head.

The man who gave the passionate speech had a tall and sturdy body, he was muscular, and his aura was grand, as he had the highest cultivation amongst the revives; Rank 7!

But most strikingly he had a set of horns on his head.

"It's something I had Genesis Lotus work on, the man I respect the most, my mentor, Duke Long."

Star Constellation was secretly shocked: "How did you do it? I couldn't find any traces of his Soul just his lingering resentment which I also gave to Genesis Lotus, but it shouldn't be possible to recreate him just from that."

Star Constellation could tell that Duke Long in front of her was not just some mere collection of emotions and desires but held such deep convictions that it had to have the genuine Soul of Duke Long!

"I took it from the Past,"

Star Constellation's eyes widened: "You! Are you crazy? Don't you think you've already messed with the fabric of Time and Space enough?!"

Killing intent flashed in Star Constellation's eyes as she locked it on Duke Long, causing him to shiver,

"I-is Lord Genesis Lotus mad at me?" Duke Long thought.

Red Lotus immediately stopped her Killing Intent: "Calm down, you didn't let me finish, I meant that in the past when Duke Long dealt the critical blow to me, I took a tiny piece of his soul and kept it alive since then, I placed it in a dimension with a Time flow that was so slow, it would have removed all memories within the Soul, making it no better than a husk."

"But when I recovered the Soul, I could still sense the fires of ambition and dedication that man held for Humanity and Heavenly Court, so I asked Genesis Lotus to fan the flames to life." Red Lotus said, a tear formed in his eye.

Star Constellation was shocked, then she took a closer look at Duke Long, "You're right, he has the same conviction and dedication, but he lacks the wizened disposition he once possessed, did you not return him his memory."

Red Lotus shook his head: "To what end? He would be tormented by the fact that he had failed Heavenly Court so many times, and then be crushed to relive his disciple's betrayal once again."

"The talent is already baked into his character, there is no need for the pain to be there as well."

Star Constellation just silently looked on.

Duke Long's passion and devotion to Heavenly Court revitalized the crowd so much that Genesis Lotus was in a stupor, "This was not part of the plan but oh well."

Genesis Lotus adapted his speech on the fly: "Do you have what it takes?"

The crowds and Duke Long roared: "Yes!"

"Do you have the courage to give your lives?"

They lifted their hands and pumped the air: "Whatever it takes!"

Genesis Lotus smiled: "Then I have an opportunity for you, it's risky, it's harsh, some of you might not return here the same."

The Heavenly Court members screamed out: "Give it to us!"

Genesis Lotus gestured to the Grand Dream Realm: "Out there is the Grand Dream Realm, it is the culmination of 3 Million Years' worth of knowledge, within it lies the possibility of advancing to even Supreme Grand Master Attainment!"

Supreme Grand Master!

The very definition of Pinnacle!

To be above, even the World itself, to go further than any had ever dreamed possible, to go beyond the understanding of the masses.

The first step in transcending mortality!

Supreme Grand Master Attainment.

The Heavenly Court members felt their blood boiling, they were raring to go, but Genesis Lotus stopped them, "I'm not done, outside there is the culmination of 3 million Years' worth of Dream Realms, it was meant to be the anthesis of all eras, even we Venerables cannot move lightly within."

Genesis Lotus then conjured up a pink rope, "This Rope is a Dream Path Killer Move called Returning From Inception To Reality. It's a Dream Path move but it emulates the effects of my Dao of Creation."

"From within the Dream Realm if you wish to leave, pull on the rope and it will bring you back here."

A Heavenly Court member raised his hands: "But why would we want to leave?"

"Good question," Genesis Lotus addressed: "Let me ask you, what path do you cultivate?"

"Fire Path."

Genesis Lotus nodded his head: "And if you acquired a Dream Realm for Star Path would it do you any good?"

The Heavenly Court members began to understand.

"There is every path that has ever been cultivated inside the Grand Dream Realms, without a Dream Path Venerable it is impossible to filter through the mess, thus we can only rely on Luck and multiple attempts, time is of the essence as once one Dream is finished the Grand Dream Realm will no longer show that Dream. We are competing with not just the world but Fang Yuan!"

All the Heavenly Court members bowed: "As you command!"

Genesis Lotus nodded his head and gave all the members the Rope, then sent them off.

Within minutes, a large majority of them came back.

They dived in a few times before Genesis Lotus stopped them: "That's enough for now! Rest."

"B-but,"

"No buts! Your Soul gets damaged every time you dive in or complete a Dream Realm, but if you take too much damage in a Dream Realm you will be ousted, though usually, death is what awaits."

"The Grand Dream Realm is specially designed so that once your Soul reaches a certain level of damage, it will kick you out and not take you into any Dreams, instead it will let your Soul rest by placing you in a deep sleep, and once you awake you'll be back in another Dream Realm with no clue of the Time Passing, but this is too inefficient, we have our ways of healing the Soul that is much faster."

Genesis Lotus passed all the returnees a Gu.

"Guts Gu!? How,"

Genesis Lotus sneered: "Am I supposed to tell you every secret I have?"

The Gu Immortal immediately shut up and hurriedly apologized.

Genesis Lotus brushed it off, "Just rest and recover with the Gu."

Genesis Lotus then vanished and when he reappeared, he was standing on a tall and eerie mountain.

It was Dang Hun Mountain!
