Chapter 2409

[1] Before we get into this chapter, I need to clarify something, Primordial Domain as a plot device is giving me a massive headache!

From what I can find in Chapter 2185, it seems as if just being in Primordial Domain will raise all attainment levels but there are certain areas that have more of a certain path, for instance Fang Yuan moves towards the Refinement Path area.

But this raises several questions.

One: If there are certain areas with higher concentration of a certain path does that mean every conceivable Path has such areas?

If that's so then, can Fang Yuan raise every attainment to supreme?

These are the questions I have been dealing with and its giving me a lot of headache.

Another problem is exactly how much Primordial Domain is required to raise a path?

And how much Primordial Domain does Fang Yuan have?

I feel that because it's a plot device Fang Yuan will have enough to satisfy whatever the OG author was planning.

But my main gripe with Primordial Domain is that we don't know what mix of Primordial Domain Fang Yuan got.

It could be mostly Space and Time path for all I know.

So, to make things easier, I'm going to say that it's a mix.

At once Fang Yuan was assaulted with immense pain!

Using Primordial Domain to raise attainment level, went against the natural order of things.

Instantly Fang Yuan's various Paths began to shoot up!

Weapon Path, Sound Path, Cloud Path, Wind Path, Light Path, Metal Path, Lightning Path, Information Path, and even Space and Dream Path began to rise from Master to Grandmaster!

Since he had the time, he decided to absorb all his Primordial Domain!

Those Paths that had lower attainment were the quickest to level up.

Except for 2, Space and Dream were lagging behind because there was a lower quantity of such True Meaning.

This was largely due to the fact that the 3 Venerables, at the time, were rather afraid of Great Dream Immortal Venerable, and thus, chose to destroy quite a lot of Dream Path Primordial Domain.

Another path that was lacking was Space Path!

The answer was that a large amount of Space Path True Meaning was consumed to create all those worlds that was seen during the battle of the Crazed Demon Cave. [2]

These 2 Paths continued to be left in the dust by the rapid progress of the other paths soon, Weapon Path, Sound Path, Cloud Path, Wind Path, Light Path, Metal Path, Lightning Path, Information Path, Soul Path, Phantom Path, Blood Path, Strength Path, Star Path, Formation Path, Human Path, Wood Path and Ice Path rose to Quasi-Great-Grandmaster!

Soon they would join the likes of Qi Path, Fire Path, Heaven Path, Rule Path, Poison Path, Theft Path, Transformation Path and Wisdom Path!

At this point Fang Yuan's rapid growth began to slow down.

The Primordial Domain was being consumed exponentially but the results were becoming lesser and lesser.

"At this rate I should be able to get most of these paths to Great-Grandmaster and some to Quasi-Supreme!"

Fang Yuan analyzed his remaining Primordial Domain: "There should be just enough to even get 1 Supreme Master Attainment."

Another Supreme Grandmaster Attainment meant a second Venerable status!

This transformation of Fang Yuan was certainly monstrous and would lead to a huge advantage over the other Venerables!

Fang Yuan even felt that Painting Path was raised to Master!

Though because it was entirely new, there had not been much accumulation in Primordial Domain.

Fang Yuan understood why there were so little of Dream and Painting Path true meaning:

"It can't be helped Primordial Domain was created through Book Mountain behind the Qian Kun Crystal Wall, it has been accumulating since time immemorial, certain Paths are more abundant due to the fact that they have existed since creation itself!"

Indeed, Fang Yuan's Fire, Water, Wood, Earth, Light, Lightning and Ice Path were the first to rise to Great-Grandmaster!

In fact, they showed signs of reaching Quasi-Supreme Grandmaster!

Deep within the Pink Fog,

Genesis Lotus eyes snapped open!

"Someone's cultivating Painting Path!"

A Venerable is in tune with their Path that they can sense whenever a cultivator is progressing their path.

Usually, it's a good thing since it means that the Venerable can gain some sort of inspiration and push their path further ahead.

This was why Giant Sun wanted Blood Path to become widespread, in addition to having an army of people follow him, he would also gain a much further boost to his strength.

If Blood Path became widespread, he would have a list of new an inventive way to use Blood Path, he would then use Primordial Domain to absorb all the new progress made to Blood Path and become a Blood Path Venerable!

Unfortunately, Heavenly Court saw through his plan and hunted down all Blood Path cultivators.

This greatly hindered the advancement of Blood Path and thus, his advantage was greatly reduced.

However, this was because Giant Sun wanted Blood Path to be his main, in Genesis Lotus's case Painting Path is his specialty.

He was actually in a very similar spot as Giant Sun, he wanted to keep Painting Path all to himself, just as Giant Sun kept Luck Path all to himself.

"Who could it be?" Genesis Lotus began making deductions and soon found.

"It can't be!" he rushed to Star Constellation: "Star Constellation its bad Fang Yuan has taken out Primordial Domain!"

Star Constellation had been quietly deducing, while maintaining the spatial tunnel, when Genesis Lotus's shout caught her attention.

"Relax Genesis, I've long predicted that Fang Yuan had some method to take out Primordial Domain, it was only a matter of time." Star Constellation stated as if it was a manner of facts: "This means he's finally not going to hold back anymore, and he has the confidence to stand out amongst the 5 Venerables!"

"In fact, I fear that even if the 4 of us challenge him, even outside his HQ, we'll only result in a draw. After all he can willfully use Rank 9 Killer Moves, he not only has Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth, but also Rank 9 Strong Gu!"

Genesis Lotus began to realize that Fang Yuan had basically no weaknesses now.

He had high attainment in just about every path, he had no shortage of Immortal Gu, the only thing was that he had limited Immortal Essence.

"Mhm, that's right Fang Yuan's true weakness is stamina, he's a never-before-seen genius but even he can't solve the problem of Immortal Essence." Genesis Lotus remarked.

But Star Constellation shook her head: "You're partially right, Fang Yuan's greatest weakness is indeed Immortal Essence but he knows that too which is why I'm sure his next move is to refine a Rank 9 Gu."

"Rank 9 Gu! Which one?"

"Think about it which Rank 9 Gu would help alleviate his Immortal Essence shortage?"

Genesis Lotus thought about and: "You don't mean,"

"That's right, Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus!"

Genesis Lotus was very familiar with this Gu, after all, it was his Vital Gu!

"How can that be?" Genesis Lotus was deeply worried.

If Fang Yuan managed to acquire this Gu it would likely spell all their doom.

Others might not know but Genesis Lotus knew the terrifying power of Rank 9 Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus.

Most cultivators had to pick between sustained firepower or rapid burst of strengths.

But with Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus, why chose?

Fang Yuan could effectively keep nuking whichever force came his way, and the longer they let him exist the more his stockpile would grow!

It was a horrifying thought.

"We must stop him!" Genesis Lotus's eyes were firm.

"Mhm," Star Constellation nodded: "Indeed, seeing that barrier appear around Fang Yuan right before we were hit by Endless Night, he is most likely unaffected. Now is the perfect chance for Fang Yuan to refine Rank 9 Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus!"

"Then what can we do?" Genesis Lotus asked.

"Genesis, can you detect when Fang Yuan starts to refine Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus?"

Genesis Lotus thought about it, and shook his head helplessly: "I'm afraid there are too many paths involved, not only Wood Path but, Refinement Path, Luck Path and Wisdom Path, not to mention that the Dream Fog surrounding us will hamper our detection."

Star Constellation's face frowned: "We still need to try, with our combined might is it still impossible?"

Genesis Lotus pondered: "With the 2 of us there will be a low chance of success but, there is 1 other individual that is perfect to help us."

"Mhm, I see where you're going with this, its worth a shot."

At the edge of the Endless Night,

An incredibly handsome man could be seen floating about the Pink Fog.

He had a sharp eyebrow and a stoic face, even while asleep, his figure was tall and his built was neither huge nor small. His hair reached down to his back it was light purple and silky smooth.

Who else could it be but Giant Sun Immortal Venerable!

A smile could be seen on his face, he seemed to be having a pleasant dream.

"Ah Zhu Zhu, I really can't go on anymore."

"Its okay check out this method,"

The tent began to sway, even with the sound blocking features of the tent, faint moans could be heard.

This went on for another hour or so until:

"Zhu Zhu, I really can't keep going."

"Its okay look at this new method."

Giant Sun's aura burst and he jumped right back on, this went on for another 3 Hours.

Giant Sun was panting: "*Huff* *Huff* Zhu Zhu,"

But before he could continue: "Check out this method."

They went on for another 5 Hours!

"Zhu Zhu I know you're methods are amazing but really let me rest!" Giant Sun nearly cried.

"Mhm, rest is also good, we must take brakes in between to give us a better chance as well."

Giant Sun was so exhausted, he just lay there on the bed.

Next to him was a stunning woman, she had long black hair that reached down to her waist, her skin was flawlessly white, and her face was stunning like a piece of perfectly cut jade, sharp and defined yet her eyes were gently. She was a peerless beauty.

Of course, it was none other than Giant Sun's one true love, his empress, Zhu Zhu.

"I wish we could stay like this forever…*sigh*" Giant Sun sighed.

He knew.

He knew this was all fake.

He knew that none of this was real.

He even knew that someone was gaining some True Meaning from this.

But for just 1 more second with her, he was willing to lose a little.

For 1 more second…

Suddenly, the whole began to shake,

Panic screaming could be heard outside as the sky began to tear apart,

He turned to his left to see her one last time,

There was no panic nor fear, her smile greeted his face.

"Soon…"

Giant Sun's eyes snapped open!

He observed his surroundings, in front of him stood Genesis Lotus and Star Constellation!
