59 Chapter 2394 Dao Lord Once Again!

Fang Yuan began to issue a mission throughout the Sovereign Immortal Aperture.

"If you're Rank 6 or 7 please die."

The mission was placed at the very top of the list and was very eye-catching.

"Please die? What?"

Many were admittedly confused and of course, decided to look at the contents of the mission.

The mission brief: "I need as many people as possible to once again undergo ascension, for this I will supply the necessary Relic Gu, in addition, to obtain 500 merit points, I will also return you your original aperture and also enhance your aptitude upon rebirth!"

The entire Sovereign Immortal Aperture was in an uproar.

"500 merits! That would allow one to buy a Rank 6 Gu or 2 or even a Rank 7!"

"An improved aptitude?! That alone will make it worth it."

"Me! Sign me up."

"No! Sign me!"

Crowds of Rank 6 Gu Immortals were gathering at the various mission centers to sign up.

Some Rank 7s were even considering it as well.

"Hmm, with my current aptitude can I really go beyond Rank 7? Maybe I should try…"

Other less confident Rank 7s were having the same thought.

After all the mission was stated to be a temporary one and once Fang Yuan was satisfied the mission would be voided.

Of course, the major downside for these Rank 7s was that they would not be assisted to Rank 7 and only up till Rank 6.

They would have to cultivate from Rank 6 once again.

But they would be given their original aperture which would allow them to skip certain tribulations.

The revived Gu Immortals would have to go through Immortal Ascension once again allowing Fang Yuan to use Stealing Heavenly Secrets.

Fang Yuan had masterfully created a system of benefit!

At every point of this cycle, Fang Yuan absorbs most of the benefit while his subordinates kiss his feet for the mere drops.

This alone went against the Heavenly principle of balance.

Fang Yuan was constantly swallowing benefit for himself, little to non-returned to the world.

This was one of the reasons that Heaven's Will could not tolerate Fang Yuan.

Fang Yuan wanted to use Stealing Heavenly Secrets, to understand the principles of Order Refinement.

After all, the key player in Order Refinement was not Ying Guan Xin but Hei Lou Lan and, more importantly, Reckless Savage Demon Venerable!

But Order Refinement was too powerful for Fang Yuan to get the answer from one natural inspiration he needed multiple sets to probe the scope of question he could ask,

For example, he started with 'How does Order Refinement work?'

The Heavenly Dao responded, but it was not a complete answer, thus, Fang Yuan had to fill in the blanks with more Natural Inspiration until he got the full principle.

"I see, so that's how. The Order is able to fill in the missing Dao Mark spots that the Gu needs to advance, Order Refinement cuts out the need for ingredients while it also cuts out all potential impurities. By converting pure energy into Dao Marks, it cuts this middle step out."

This was what Ying Guang Xin was doing.

Freedom Gu had no recipe and was impossible to refine through one, it only required the natural stimulation from Heaven and Earth.

In fact, one could say that Order Refinement was the way of the Heavenly Dao.

Gus that are born based on conditions, such as, Freedom Gu, Responsibility Gu, Perseverance Gu and etc…

These were all constructed by the Heavenly Dao using Order Refinement.

Ying Guang Xin was incredibly lucky that Freedom Gu and Responsibility Gu followed this principle, if not, simply adding more energy into the mix would not have produced any results.

"Hmm, it seems that the more one displays these traits the more Order the Heavenly Dao places into the Gu refinement, it explains why Perseverance Gu was refined faster and faster with each step I took in Reverse Flow River because each step required more and more Perseverance!"

Now that Fang Yuan understood this principle his brain began to be overflowing with ideas and theories that he used natural inspiration to test out.

Fang Yuan was slowly, but surely, increasing his Refinement Path attainment.

Days soon turned into months and soon 2 months had passed.

Fang Yuan felt a heavy pang running through his stomach.

"Hmm, it seems I have about a month or so left."

Outside the Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven,

"Only a month or so left," Star Constellation opened her gleaming eyes.

The space surrounding the Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven had become packed.

Although a fight between Venerables meant that anyone below the Psuedo-Veernables level would be of little help, there was still a large group of people prepared to fight Fang Yuan to the death!

Many across the 5 Regions feared his meteoric rise and his craftiness.

The largest faction present was of course the Huang Jin tribes, followed by the Ten Great Ancient Sects, and of course Spectral Soul Demon Venerable was alone.

All 3 had set up a triangle formation with each camp as the formation core.

This was a jointly created formation that the 3 Venerables had spent the past 2 months deducing, it was named the Yin-Yang Phantasmal Killing Array.

Although the core of the formation was designed by Spectral Soul, since he was the pioneer of Killing path, the other Venerables would obviously not let him craft a super formation without their knowledge.

Thus, they were linked using Star Constellation's shared thought formation.

This formation allowed them to pool together their collective thoughts to produce the Yin-Yang Phantasmal Killing Array, without prying into each other's secrets.

The formation worked by letting the participants choose what they want to share, and since all 3 of them could see what was shared it then allowed them to verify that no misleading or harmful information make its way into the Formation.

The 3 of them made rapid progress in developing this formation largely thanks to Star Constellation's Sheer Deduction Formations.

Who at its core used Wisdom Gu!

"We really must thank Fang Yuan, if not for Wisdom Gu we may not have been able to complete this marvelous formation." Star Constellation remarked.

"Are you sure it's worth going through this much effort? He's on bought time," Giant Sun was apprehensive about using so much effort in killing Fang Yuan.

Not because he thought Fang Yuan was weak, but because he didn't like how powerful the formation they formed had been.

While it was true that their secrets had been kept, it is no doubt that some things were now in the open due to the Formation.

It made use of many paths, Yin-Yang Path, Soul Path, Wisdom Path, Luck Path, and Blood Path!

"I'm sure," Spectral Soul was the one who contributed the most to it: "Fang Yuan has to die! Even if he returns to being a Dao Lord he cannot escape!"

Spectral Soul was, of course, not looking out for the greater good but himself: "Once the formation is activated all life within will perish!"

Though more importantly for Spectral Soul was that Ying Guang Xin would die!

Yes! Spectral Soul had caught onto Ying Guang Xin and Fairy Zi Wei's escape from his clutches.

He didn't know how they did it, but he was sure they had Fang Yuan's help since the piece of Soul in Spectral Heaven had been destroyed.

"I don't know what those bastards are up to, but nothing will stop me from Killing them!"

Giant Sun and Star Constellation had no idea why Spectral Soul was so eager to kill Fang Yuan, they had just assumed it was his blood-thirsty nature.

After all, nobody in history had defied and defeated Spectral Soul so many times.

Inside the Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven,

"I got it!"

Fang Yuan cried out.

After countless deductions and rounds of natural inspiration, Fang Yuan had once again returned to being a Dao Lord!

Although it was not hard it was not easy either.

Fang Yuan actually thanked his first life as Order Refinement had some basis on Earth theory!

It used the principle of matter being unable to be created or destroyed only existing in one form or another.

Order was Chaos and Chaos was Order.

The two are one and the same.

They neither create nor destroy but either consume or assume.

Chaos did not destroy matter; it merely makes matter part of itself by stripping it away from its original owner.

Fang Yuan aligned this trait to Black Holes in his universe.

While Order was the opposite, it made itself part of the matter it touched.

Since its essence was Chaos, which contained all forms of matter, it seeks stability and balance through assimilation.

And since it chose 1 element over the others it had plenty of energy to spare, thus why a single bead of Order could refine a Rank 9 Gu!

But this was all theory and understanding to actually apply it would be a tremendous task.

"Phew, thankfully I only need to understand the principle and concept, to actually get my hands on Order would be impossible in this short a time."

Ying Guang Xin was truly lucky that the Heavenly Dao provided the Order, and she merely added more energy onto it.

It was as if you had a bunch of flammable material but no way to produce a spark.

The Heavenly Dao produced that spark and all she did was fan the flames.

"Now then," Fang Yuan said as he stretched his body: "They must be dying to see me."

Fang Yuan had accomplished all that he had set out to and was once again a Dao Lord.

He no longer delayed and began annexing the Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven.

The consumption process was visible from outside and the surrounding Gu Immortals began to buzz around like bees.

"It's happening! Places people move move move."

A giant hustle could be seen as tons of Gu Immortals rushed to their stations.

"Well let's begin!" Star Constellation placed her hand out.

Spectral Soul and Giant Sun placed them together and at that moment they all took an Oath.

"We swear to work together to kill Fang Yuan with no attempt at one another's life throughout the process. At the end of the day, this formation will be dismantled and will not be used on any one of the 3 Venerables, Giant Sun, Spectral Soul, and Star Constellation."

Of course, as Venerables they were sneaky in their 'agreement'.

They had deliberately left things rather vague, for instance, the Oath merely stated that they would not attempt to deliberately kill one another.

But it never said anything about directing Fang Yuan to another or not blocking an attack or letting an attack get past them.

There was still quite a bit of wiggle room in their agreement.

After making an Oath, Spectral Soul and Giant Sun flew in front and behind the Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven, sealing off any attempt for Fang Yuan to escape.

While Star Constellation took a seat at her designated area and began to operate the Formation!

This was the large reason why they took the Oath.

Who would trust leaving a formation that could kill a Dao Lord in the hands of an enemy?

The Myriad Beast Fusion Color Heaven grew smaller and smaller until a singular man could be seen.

A fair face, with snow-white clothes, a tender hand with a gentle smile, jet black hair, and eyes so dark they pierce the night.

It was none other than Fang Yuan!
