And what was that formation for?

Of course, it was to allow Fang Yuan to teleport into the Myriad Fusion Color Heaven!

Using an improved version of the Omni-Directional Travel Formation, that had Rank 8 Fixed Immortal Travel Gu as the core and, used a 3rd Formation that gathered the energy from each Piece that the Venerables used!

This allowed Fang Yuan to teleport into the Myriad Beast World despite his many Dao Marks.

Of course, it took the Chessboard with it.
